I was surprised at the selection given the size of the store. I live in Nevada so the prices here threw me off a bit as ours are much lower on many items. Like this bottle of Maker's is $42 in Nevada!

This store is terrible. The management will slam doors in your face 5 minute prior to closing wait until its 9 o'clock then opens the door to explain its closing time sorry then slam the door and aggressively attack you so you may not come in this incident was totally outrageous and my wife and myself are thinking of pressing charges since I've got video evidence of the situation happening. Also btw this was a manager acting this way. I hate to see how she treats her employees. One more thing me and my wife come regularly to the store and thought it was great now not so much takes one bad egg to ruin it for you guys and its only going to get worse because every incident from now on will be posted here for the world... have a nice day

Good experience. Decent selection. More would be nice, but it's fine for Johnstown. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are set by the state I believe so not much to say about those.

Unless you are in PGH or Philly the state stores selections kinda of suck. Having come from Maryland, I can really see the lack of selection. The staff at this location are very nice, and the prices are reasonable.

I got 3 bottles of flavored Chamagne for New Year's Eve. Out of the three bottles two were the same. My my parent's did not like the one bottle that we opened so I went to see if I could return the 2nd unopended bottle. They gave me a full refund without question as long as I had my receipt. I never knew that you could return alcohol but it's good to know their staff is friendly and fast even on the busiest day of the year!

Terrible selection! All Pennsylvania state stores are pathetic in both choice and price. The entire system needs to be privatized, the politics eliminated and the drain of the state employees benefits and pension costs eliminated in the process. In recent years the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has opened "Premium Wine and Spirit stores" across the state in locations that they deem worthy of enhanced choices; however, even these stores can't compare to the choices one has in every one of Pennsylvania's neighboring states. New York state has wine and liquor stores the size of large supermarkets and even the supermarkets in Ohio have better and more diverse choices for wines than any of the premium wine and spirit stores in Pennsylvania. Despite a significant population of wine and liquor drinkers who can afford high-end "controlled beverages," Johnstown, PA is not one of the areas deemed worthy of a premium wine and spirit store by the PLCB. Don't even think about competitive pricing and good deals on sale items. They don't exist in Pennsylvania. The whole system is rigged in the state and the consumer-taxpayers continue to get screwed by our inept legislature, PLCB administration and lobby groups that seek to maintain the status quo.

The worst wine and spirits experience I’ve ever had. Rude and unprofessional employee and charged me for a small bottle of alcohol but then never put it in my bag. Won’t be returning
