Only thing I don't like about this store is there's ALWAYS rolltainers in the aisles. Can't shop half of the store because merchandise is inaccessible (see pic). Great selection, but this is the only reason I don't shop here 😕

Dollar General is a great dollar store. Lots of food and household items. It's a great place to make a quick stop if you only need a few items. Employees are friendly and helpful!

Staff is always helpful and courteous. Good selection of basic needs and seasonal items. At Halloween last year, I was happily surprised to find the finishing touch for my costume for just a few dollars.

Place is filthy, no one ever straightened shelves, staff not very helpful, borderline rude. Needed help getting something off top shelf, it was a big imposition when I asked for help. Maybe if place were cleaned up I wouldn't have to bother someone for help

The line is always so backed up with ONE (1) cashier!!! I simply don't understand why the store had THREE (3) LOL, three registers, but only ever use the one! Lol, smh...this Dollar General has nice stuff, I like the store...just not the checking out! It's always 30 mins to exit! LOL. ....

Never have products on the shelves! Then they jus t close at 7 or 8 or whatever works for them. You have to wonder if the owner knows they just close whenever?

This is a filthy mismanaged store. I was shocked to go in after worshipping at the Goucher Street Store. I've been in second hand junk shops with more organization & cleanliness. If I could have posted 0 stars, I would have. And this is in the upscale part of Johnstown?

The Dollar General is a staple of the Downtown Johnstown scene. Invaluable to individuals at the D.O.C. Halfway house. People have been know to sit on the wall across from dollar general and just hang out. Nice Service, main downside is, if you ask for change they always have some reason that they can't even part with a dollar in quarters.

Dirty, disgusting, no organization at all. Trash everywhere, carts full of boxes that need to be stocked, you can barely negotiate the aisles. Poor customer service. Opened/empty packaging from people stealing all over the shelves.

Love having Dollar General close to home! If I need a last minute ingredient I forgot at the grocery store or need an item at home, I can quickly grab it and get back in no time.

Very unorganized and messy, oh and might I add this Dollar General doesn't sale Baby clothes. How ridiculous is this?? If your able to go to another Dollar General then do that, because if you choose to go here YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED

Only complaint i have of this DG is that the stock always seems to be low, even before the pandemic hit. Other than that it is kept up very well compared to others!! Thumbs up!! 👍

This store always looks like a tornado hit it during an earthquake. Merchandise is never shelves properly and always laying in the ground, marki g it difficult to maneuver.

It's okay. Aisles are always blocked with boxes of stuff to be stocked. Very annoying. But staff is generally friendly and helpful.

The shelves are never ever stocked !!! Completely empty all the time and always have carts in the middle that needs to be put away but never is!!! This is the first dollar store I have ever seen like this!!!

I was extremely disappointed in this store today. It was freezing and they had so many supply carts blocking shelves I couldn't see what they had or did not have. The shelves were empty. I was thoroughly disappointed today.

Well stocked. Clean, fast and friendly sales clerks. Side parking makes it nice to get in and out.

Hey, it's a dollar general. Most stores are in much need of an overhaul. Pretty dumpy and extremely disorganized, but I still go there. Staff is usually very friendly.

Very cluttered, dirty mop water in the isle blocking it. The cashier talk to each other and she walked away without a word
