I currently live in Howard, Pa and called Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley and they recommended I call Rosebird to get in. I had a stray that was not doing well. I came in immediately and the staff was super nice and very informative telling me the prices of everything before it happened. They were honest and upfront about the care and possible outcome. Unfortunately he broke his pelvis , and the prognosis wasn’t good so we moved forward to euthanize . It was super hard but the staff was so warm and friendly. I will be thinking about moving my animals there for future visits.

I wanted to share my experience, my journey started with Rosebird roughly two years ago for my senior dog. I called multiple vets including the vet my dog was currently a client of and nobody could see her - after claiming they are all about the animals - and wanted to charge a minimum of $300 fee to even walk through the door. Rosebird was able to see us in just a few hours and for only a fraction of the cost! The issue turned out to be a severe urinary tract infection. Last fall she took a decline and was diagnosed with either Cushing's disease or a type of cancer. They kindly put her on hospice care and supplied the medication (quickly) to keep her comfortable til the end without question. Yesterday was the last day she was with us. After talking to several institutions to ensure the best experience for our pup, Rosebird was the best choice for us and most reasonable again. We made the difficult decisions to end Dekotas suffering permanently. These caring kind and considerate individuals deserve an award. They treated Dekota with such care and made her comfortable and not anxious at all. All the staff, including the vet tech, and Dr Andy were amazing!! They have gained our trust and respect. They went above and beyond. Cant say enough. I recommend them to all and use them for our other pets.

The staff is wonderful and they have good hours of operation. We recently took our 14 year old dog to RoseBird after she had 2 seizures. They ran tests and did xrays and provided us with the necessary information we needed to make a very difficult decision. Once we decided, they were very sensitive to our feelings and made sure they addressed our needs. When we left we saw a candle burning indicating we were saying goodbye to our beloved pet.

We will never take our pup anywhere else! The staff is so kind & it’s easy to see they actually care for and about your pets. Our golden got into poison and she went from picture 1 to picture 2 in less than 12 hours. We love Rosebird!

With over an hour they refused to take my girlfriend and my dog condem9.i g him to death. So much for the Quality care they promise you and take an outh to uphold. Tgis place deserves no business from any let owner ever they don't want t to deal with a serious problem just luck it and stick it bandaid station same as the real hospital.

So patient and kind to my fur babies. My 1 cat is diabetic and they did not stop helping until we found what works for him with trial and error. They are also so patient with my other cat that hates the vet and acts psycho, but they respect the animals and understand their stress levels. Seriously will never go anywhere else.

Went there with an emergency with cats, but unfortunately they were unable to help right away. They are good people but overwhelmed with emergencies so they have to limit what they can do. I respect that. Fortunately we found help elsewhere. Prayers work. I Thank all pet clinics who can help when we need it most. God Bless Them all. I love helping pets/animals/cats who have no voice. I love this vet clinic. They have been able to give me appointments for the day after my call which is difficult for a lot of other clinics right now. The vet tech and doctor took the time to discuss the findings, medications, and recommendations which I greatly appreciate. I don't mind having to wait an additional 15 - 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because I believe it is important for every patient and owner to be treated the same as me. I appreciate leaving there knowing all of my questions have been answered and having a better understanding of what happened and/or the reason behind the issue at hand.

Great people! They were about Dryvar not the $$. They helped my Dryvar stay healthy while working with My vet office out of state.Ya see, I'm a semi driver, and I needed 1 heartworm prevention pill for my pup Dryvar due to a medicine mix-up with our Vet back home. After calling a few vets in the area who all said they could Not work with my vet and that they would need to redo his heartworm test and a physical plus cost of meds, I was getting upset, since Our Vet was ready to send all his vetted records and a prescription. Well, then I called Rosebird Veterinary, and this wonderful, clean, caring place had no issue helping me. My vet sent the records and prescription, and they had it all ready when we arrived. What a fantastic experience.. Thank you so much. Nice to find a Vets office. Who's about the furbabies.

They are so sweet at rosebird! Did all they could to help my fur baby Pumpkin(12 year old cat) and keep him comfortable. Sadly after a few days of tests and fluids he was only getting worse due to having cancer and we decided he shouldn't be in pain anymore. Everyone at rosebird was so comforting through everything. I had Pumpkin cremated and they sent a lovely note with his paw prints and they even comforted me when I went to pick his ashes up. Thank you for your wonderful work! I don't see myself taking my fur babies anywhere else from now on. Again thank you for everything.Here's a picture of my two kitty babies Ratchet in the blue hut and Pumpkin on the box ♥️

I was really worried about finding a vet when I adopted my cat. Not only did I want the best care for her, but also needed care to be affordable. As I child I remember hearing my mom complain about how costly it would be to even bring the cats to the vet for something small like a vaccine! Of course, vet care costs money, but I was pleasantly surprised at my cats emergency sick visit bill. Pricing for all of their services is very reasonable in my opinion. They also got her in right away without problem when she needed to be seen. Everyone here is so nice and truly care about your pet. I wish everyone could come to this vet!

We have followed Dr. Lewis for at least 15 years and absolutely LOVE him.Their team is kind, and they even help with the cats that are dropped off at our little farm at an affordable rate and work with TNR with the local SPCA.This is a fanily owned and operated facility and these people are AMAZING!!!
