Had a great experience a K Rentals. I did not purchase my rv there but had them do some warranty work on my cooling unit for my fridge. Mind you this is right at the beginning of summer not only did they get it fixed they also were nice enough to re staple some of my trim that was falling off. I was pleasantly surprised and the staff couldn't have been more friendly to me through the entire process.

Installed wrong ac unit on my 5th wheel. After a year roof started leaking. Called tech that reported ac unit was not tightened down and was ready to fall off! Got to Colorado and turned on heat pump. Didn't work. Turned on furnace, didn't work. Called tech again. He reported wrong unit was installed that didn't even have a heat pump in it. Wrong dip switches turned on so furnace wouldn't work either. Called Larry and told him about problems. He said he'd make it right next time I was in PA. I called this summer and told him I was back. He said no heat pumps available. Called Camping World and they had 3 in stock. Poor quality work and a liar. Stay away from this place!!Service: Air conditioning

Purchased a brand new ac for our travel trailer last summer. It never worked properly…icing up constantly. Called them from the campground to ask about the situation since it was literally brand new. Never returned our call. We stored our trailer down south this winter and just had them check the ac before we go down…they said it was junk. Meanwhile K RV never gave us any paperwork for warranty or anything. So we had to purchase another new AC. Seems a bit suspect to me.Service: Air conditioning

We had our first RV water heater circuit board not work our very first trip. While staying at Fox Den Campgrounds in New Stanton, PA, Mobile RV Repair was there. They didn’t charge us for the service call, which they could have, because they were already there. After finishing winterizing another RV, they came right over, popped in a new circuit board in about 5 minutes and hot water was fixed! Would highly recommend their mobile RV service. Do not have experience with their store.

I would highly recommend their mobile RV Medic services. Larry was very helpful in solving my furnace issue. He explained and resolved all issues onsite. He went above and beyond and corrected a few water line issues as well. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Even worked with Atwood/Dometic under the manufacture’s warranty. Of course since it was a mobile call there was a service fee but the fee was well worth not having to haul my coach into a service center.

These guys are really scum bags. Had the RV 5 days for a wedding. The day of the wedding the RV generator would not work. Called and got no help except for advising me to get the house battery jumped. The gas tank was just on full when I got it which was about 5 gallons short of a full tank. I have a service dog for a disability and they charged me for vacuuming out some minor pet hairs. They charged me $100 for that. It is illegal to charge for service dog. All in all a bad experience. Scumbag father son operation.

I see a lot of negative reviews for their rental services, and I can't comment on them because I only use them as a service shop. However, these guys do great work. It's not cheap, but that's probably more related to RVs in general. They have never run over estimate for me, and keep my crappy old 1988 motoring roadworthy, so I trust these guys. I usually work with Larry, who is honest and relatable. They seem to be competitive with labor rates at Valero, and have found me some obscure parts in the past.

We had a great experience renting our RV from K Rentals. The 28' RV was a 2015 model and was in perfect condition and seemed brand new to us. Our kids said this was the best vacation ever. We were even able to use our hitch-mounted bike rack on the RV and save bike rental fees on our trip to Ohiopyle SP. I found the owners of K Rentals to be very straight forward and reasonable. Everything is spelled out in detail so there were no surprises. The RV was in spotless condition when we took it, so we worked hard to bring it back the same way. All of the deposit money was returned. We opted to have K Rentals re-fill the propane and clean the holding tanks, so there was a charge for that. We don't smoke and have no pets, so there was no issue with that. It is hard to find RV rentals that are in such good condition as these. There are other companies that offer older models, but we did not want a beat-up, smelly RV. I would definitely rent from this company again.

I recently had an accident that damaged the air conditioner, roof and satellite/antenna of my camper, Larry quoted a great price and even stayed under budget - the camper looks better than new and the process went quick I had the camper back in no time. If I need others repairs, I’ll go back. Larry the man!!

i dont understand the other reviews. all the rules for cleaning are laid out with a cost sheet if you don't follow them. not unreasonable at all. my gf and i rented the 28 foot rv (a 2015 model, brand new) for a very reasonable rate compared to others. we followed the cleaning list and actually cleaned the thing. we got all the deposit back except for the cost of washing the outside (couldn't find a car wash tall enough). the owner is a veteran and very reasonable. he has very nice equipment and likes to keep it that way. the other places i talked to also wanted a cash deposit so thats not a strange rule like some people say. i couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. we both have already recommended this place to friends. i will definitely use them again when i need an rv in that area. we are real customers and Iive in erie, pa. don't believe the haters!

I would like to thank Larry and his RV medic mobile team on the incredible service they provided. My 2014 Thor sustained a leak in the hot water line from the external TV mounting panel. I searched for several local dealers and they could not help me for at least another month. I searched the internet and found K rentals. They were able to make it out the next day and have me all fixed and ready for the road within an hour. I would recommend them to other folks that need service to their RV's.

As a 35 year RV motorhome owner I know RV's will have issues. Finding an RV service-center that understands and knows how to repair the components of your RV is invaluable. After three visits to K RV with different issues it is time to write a favorable review. On one occasion there was an electrical issue and the other occasions they performed preventative maintenance. I sense I am dealing with a family business that takes pride in their business and pride in the work they turn out. This business cannot be an easy business because we RV owners want our work done yesterday. When you are good like K RV you will be busy and doing the work right builds more business and comes with challenges. Taking your RV to K RV is like going to your doctor and Larry and his dad the owners along with staff have your RV in good hands!
