When I first got my kitty, I thought she was a short hair (turns out she just had some health issues that have since been resolved) but it turned out she was a long hair, which I had no clue how to care for. The first time I took her to Royal Dutch, they were able to brush out all of her mats and she left smelling AMAZING. After that, I tried some other groomers just because I live on the other side of Pittsburgh. None of them compared to Royal Dutch. Needless to say, by the time I went back after the other groomers, my cat had some pretty tricky mats and needed a lion cut. Royal Dutch did this for her and her hair grew back long and healthy, mat free, and most importantly, they were so good with her that she wasn't scared afterwards. Now I drive an hour every six months to Royal Dutch for my kitty because there so no one else I trust more. Also, their prices are so reasonable (and this is coming from a young adult, straight out of college, who is no stranger to pinching pennies). I could not recommend Royal Dutch more.

This team is one of the best, the environment and staff are great, the haircuts are always amazing & definitely worth what you pay! My shorkie, Enzo, always looks his best after an appointment at royal & they always treat him so good! Highly recommend this place!

They did a great job with my Aussie on his first visit there. Amazing staff and solid prices. I loved his haircut, they are one of the only places that have gotten his rear skirt right. Looking forward to taking him here again!

I’m so disappointed in myself that I have been taking my dog anywhere else but Royal Dutch for the past year.I took my cockapoo Honey here for her post-quarantine cut. Amber did an amazing job + was very sweet to her. I can say without hesitation that we will be back at Royal Dutch for all future hair cuts. (-:

We have 4 standard poodles and 4 cats are very particular about their grooming and can say without reservation that the service, quality and responsiveness at Royal Dutch Grooming has been exemplary. We get the full works - shampoo, conditioner, nails, teeth, ears, groom - and have been delighted with the results. Our animals are well treated and this is important because virtually all of them are rescued animals from abusive or abandoned situations. They tend to be a little nervous at first and worried but Katelyn and her crew are both professionals at grooming and also making our poodles comfortable. Highest recommendation!

They went out of their way by staying open late to help bathe and groom 6 digs that we're rescued from a bad situation. As one of the dogs fosters, I really appreciate them going out of their way to help! Here are some pictures of my foster after grooming.

Our Standard Schnauzer requires specific grooming needs that are difficult to find. He gets hand stripped here and the staff is fantastic and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend them if you have a dog in need of hand stripping.

We have been taking our dog there for a few years. The prices have increased every single year but the quality of grooming has decreased. His coat isn't as soft and he doesn't even smell like he was bathed. He is a friendly dog that hates even entering the grooming area. And on top of that no bandanas, no treats, no coupons for extra services. Bare minimum for a high price.

If I could give negative stars trust me they would get them!!! They are only getting one because google is making me give them one but trust me they don’t deserve that! This place is RUDE and very unprofessional!!! Stay Far away from this place. We took our Cat there for the first time and they treated us so awful and made us feel like we are awful pet owners. I took my cat there to get groomed and and he was matted and which is why we took him there to get groomed and not be treated like this. So we left and didn’t use them. And they took a deposit and didn’t give our money back. Awful business practices and business. Stay FAR away from this place!!!!!

I take my cats to get groomed here once a year. They take great care of them and they always come home smelling so clean! This is the only place I know that grooms cats, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Don't forget to say hello to Isis the poodle (you'll know when you see her!)

Usually i have gone elsewhere but because of the virus i couldnt get an appointment. I called royal dutch and they were able to schedule both my cats for the same day. I was so happy. They are so nice and did a great job. Will definitely be back.
