They have a great selection of communion dresses at a great price point. We were so excited when we arrived however we were left disappointed and frustrated at the customer service specifically Antonella. We had every intention of buying at least one if not two dresses and accessories for my 2 daughters but she was extremely rude and short with us and I honestly have no idea why. She genuinely seemed like she did not want to be there. My daughter loved a dress but Antonella told us it only comes in a 6 when we thought we would need at least a 7. She tried to deter us from letting my daughter still try it on in case it was loose enough to work with. She failed to mention that even though the dress doesn't come in a 7 it does come in an 8 that we could work with nor was she willing to show/offer us anything comparable. Again she was very bothered about helping us and I don't know why. She didn't even really want my daughter trying on the other 2 dresses we had picked out. I want to support small businesses but after this experience my one daughter will be getting her dress from a big chain while my other will be getting the Tip Top Kids Style 5845 she loved in the store in a size 8 online elsewhere. Hopefully I can find another small business to purchase the rest of the accessories. Again based on the selection and price I would love to recommend this store however I would be mortified if one of my friends visited and had a similar experience with her. Definitely disheartening. One tip: I totally understand the 3 dress max. for try ons I just wish there were signs or something more clear about that.

Anything, and I mean anything, a parishioner or church could possibly want. The service is top shelf too. The only thing that brothers us is the tiny St. Joseph figures to bury in your yard if you want to sell your house. Aaaagghh! It's not catechism and gives Catholics a bad name. Otherwise, an awesome place.

Antonella was phenomenal! She made quite an experience for my little girl's First Holy Communion. Thank you Antonella. She helped my daughter with everything, and so quickly... she felt more like family. After helping my daughter into the beautiful dress, in about 45 seconds she had my daughter's long, thick hair in a beautiful bun... ready for her veil. She saved me so much time and stress gathering everything we needed so quickly! Now I just need to borrow her (and her patience) on Communion Day! 😂

I visited this shop today, searching for a baptism dress for my daughter. I found this store online, which took me 1hr 1/2 drive. At arrival, I was not greeted by anyone. I was looking through the dresses, and I was not sure what size to get for my daughter. I asked if I was able to try it on her and the lady at the register stated that per their policy, " I am unable to try on the dress nor exchange it if purchased for a different size" I find this policy obnoxious! How can one expect someone to buy a dress without even knowing if it will fit. I understand the "no return/no exchange policy." However, I think that since I am unable to exchange for a different size, I should at least be able to try on the dress.I will not recommend this store to friends or family that are looking for baptism/ first communion apparel.

I placed an order for my son who was so excited for what he wanted. He ordered it out of his own money from his SS disability funds. It has been over a month and we have not received his order. I have sent 3 emails and made 2 calls, leaving messages, with absolutely no response. They processed the charge of $84.55 but the order still remains in "processed" status, not sent. Bad business! They could, at the very least, respond to 1 of my 5 inquiries sent.

I simply cannot put into words my gratitude to Judy and the entire staff of the St. Jude's shop. My daughter was a flower girl in August and the bride had her heart set on a Sarah Louise gown that was nowhere to be found state side. Even with a color change from white to ivory they delivered a GORGEOUS dress on time. Felt like family and I cannot wait to get my girls Communion dress here in a few years. We are customers for LIFE!

St. Jude did not have exactly what we were looking for but they had so many choices we found a replacement medal for the one that was lost. In fact we got two. Staff was very helpful. This is a very nice store.

The St Jude shop is always well stocked. If I'm looking for a book and they don't have it, they'll order it for me. They have a great selection of religious items, books, rosaries, statues for inside and out, things for children, bibles and will order if you need it. Excellent store in Haverford, PA. I don't go to the stores on the north side of Philadelphia. I live on the south side of the city.

I ordered my daughters First Communion dress from this store. Beautiful dress, amazing quality, quick shipping and a great price! She received so many compliments! I was unsure of what size to order and they emailed me exact measurements which helped with finding her exact size. The dress fit perfectly and I didn’t need to have it altered. I’ll definitely be ordering my other daughter’s dress for her First Communion from you in a couple years! Thank you!

I have to be honest here. There is no other way to put it. The clerk at the counter was downright miserable. I was coming in from work to get a sympathy card. Okay, I'm spending $4 and I look like a train hopping hobo at that point of the day. Guess what though. I still expect to be greeted with a smile at least, and maybe even a kind word. I received neither.I was treated to a curt instruction on where to place my card to be scanned and an equally short blurting out of the price. I went out of my way to say thank you loudly enough to remind the individual that she did not give me the same courtesy. Didn't seem to work.If the clerk was having a bad day, well, it happens. If that was her on a good day, well maybe she should go to a shelf, open up one of the many great books, and take a lesson on how to make others feel welcome.

Their dresses are beautiful, but their customer service is even better! I purchased an absolutely beautiful communion dress for my daughter at a fraction of the cost that a boutique near my home was selling it for. Due to the COVID - 19 pandemic her communion was postponed indefinitely and they offered to modify their return policy so I could exchange the dress for a larger size once a new date was determined. Everyone was extremely kind and considerate and it definitely helped ease some of our worries during this stressful time. I would highly recommend this shop. The quality and customer service is second to none

I was extremely impressed with the communion suit I bought for my son. He needed an 8 Husky, which was extremely difficult to find, and the St Jude shop had it for less than $70- a complete suit! We didn't use the tie included but only because I was afraid he might end up completely matching another boy. The suit was good quality and comfortable material. I would very highly recommend!

We ordered a statue in November for a Christmas present. It was never delivered and they kept making excuse after excuse. Finally we have cancelled our order and now we cannot get our refund. We have had to file a claim to try and get our money back. This place seems to be a complete fraud to us. We cannot believe this place is connected to St Jude. If it even is.

I'm suprised at the size of this store. They have many different options to chose from. However I wish they had more relating to the Eastern Byzantine church. They have some icons but not all of them. They seem to have a wealth of Roman Catholic pieces but very limited on choices for others.

I am thoroughly disappointed. Today is December 22, 2020 and I placed my order December 7th, 2020 and paid for priority shipping 3-5 business days in order to receive my order plenty early for Christmas. Here we are 15 days later and still have received nothing. I have been calling daily for over a week and still nothing. After several calls, I received a tracking #. However, this tracking number was wrong! This tracking number is to a package that was delivered in September (2 months before I even placed my order) to a completely different state. I have asked them to verify the tracking number and still they assure me that is the correct one! I am seriously not getting anywhere and now will probably not receive my items pre-Christmas. They have not been able to help me at all and keep saying your package is on the way with this wrong tracking number. Check for yourself. I placed an order on Sept. 29. After my third phone call, on Oct. 30, I still have not received my order. This store has not tried to contact me in order to let me know that items were on back order. I was promised today that I would receive a phone call on Nov. 2 with a tracking number. We will see if I get that call. Every one I spoke with was nice, but they did not do what they said they would which was ship my order.

This is the best religious store ever. They have everything you would ever want to help grow your faith. I went in there looking for a very vague Saint and they had the metal I wanted. I was excited to give the business to a local store rather than having to go online which is usually what you have to do for stuff like this. The WORST customer service!! My gift for my nephew's First Communion arrived 2 1/2 weeks late and they lost track of the order 4 times!I ordered a baseball rosary and specified they contact me if for any reason it would be delayed. I chose a shipping rate that would result in it arriving in plenty of time. The next day I received a confirmation that the gift would ship on time. 2 days later, I call the store and they say the item is out of stock! Now it's too late to order from another vendor. Now I'm letting my nephew down on his special day and the rosary won't be blessed by the priest at the First Communion. The salesperson assures me it will ship on Monday instead. I call her back on Tuesday to check in, and I'm told it will be out of stock till the following week! A new person answered the phone who is clueless to the situation.We played this game 4 SEPARATE TIMES where they promised me a new shipping date, then never call me and it never shipped. I kept calling them asking why it hasn't shipped yet, and they forgot about my order each time! I'm promised that as a consolation for the delays, they will "include a special gift to commemorate your nephew's first communion." The baseball rosary finally arrives to my nephew 2 1/2 weeks late, and THERE IS NO SPECIAL GIFT INCLUDED! BTW - it only arrived when it did because I kept calling them - they finally did get the shipment into their store, but forgot to mail me the rosary until I called them!Maybe they don't care about a $20 from meBut this was something special that was time sensitive, and the timing and sentiment was more critical than the money spent. They should be ashamed of themselves for caring so little about human emotions and people's Faith. If it was something for myself, I wouldn't mind if it was late. But to constantly lead on a little kid is shameful. They shouldn't be in this line of business if they are playing game with people's hearts and taking no responsibility for it. Very misleading business image!

Excellent selection if specialty religious merchandise. Staff are selective in their engagement and interactions. It's only one of a few specialty shops of this type in the tri-state area. Their online selection is a little more extensive. Nice spacious shop. Their customer service leaves a bit to be desired if your not of the usual expected clientele. Everyone who enters should be greeted and treated the same. So you can be put off by their lack of hospitality or friendliness.

Love this religious store to pick up a token for a holy gift or to get reading info. For me or children I care for. The employees are very attentive and help eagerly when needed. Been going there for 20 something years. The man that say of my recent visit was very helpful. I was looking for an all saints book to get started on learning about their lives. I so pleased this store is there with the interesting inventory. Hope this helps yoy find a gift.
