So far, one shopping experience, one positive result: I did an online order for a grill, called on my way over, and they had the box at the front when I arrived and put it in my car. The store wasn't very busy, so possibly it would have been different during a rush time, but my shopping today was as easy as I could imagine it being.

I bought 2 Energizer lanterns, which I can also use to recharge my cellphone. I hope that these lanterns are going to be a big help the next time that my complex loses power. That happened earlier this week and it was a giant pain and we actually were really lucky. Our power came back on within 5 hours. Some people in my area were without power for 2-3 days. The store employee who helped me did a very good job. He was a big help in figuring out what I needed to buy. The only thing that I can think of to complain about is that I would've liked to have bought the Goetze's chocolate caramels that I had bought there before. They're really good and I haven't seen them at any other stores. I hope that ACE gets them back in.

I like this location because they have a great selection! but everytime i’m jere i can be guaranteed that if i want something, well i better find it myself! The register employees aren’t very personable either and i’ve worked retail for many years so i kind of get it but I love the Media location! The employees there are phenomenal just like a Mom and Pop store! business is more appreciated there!

This is a smaller store, however, it is stocked well. It is kind of hidden behind the rest of the stores in the shopping center. The associates are friendly and helpful. All seemed very knowledgeable about all questions I had. Clean and well stocked location in a nice shopping center.

Great place. Very friendly staff, someone greeted me right away, & I found what I needed and then some. It sits in the back of the mall which took me a few to figure out. There should be more signage in the front for that.

Excellent hardware store. Very well-stocked - I have never left disappointed. Easier to find what I want if i am looking for hardware or tools than at the nearby big box stores. Staff has been universally friendly and helpful.

Our area lacks hardware stores overall so its nice to have this here. I can usually find what I need and there is always enough staff to help. Not a HUGE selection on certain items, but thats why I'd go to HD or Lowes for larger items. Prices are very fair. Younger girl at checkout has the personality of drywall which is a shame.

This is one of the best stocked hardware stores I have been in in quite a while! Very well lit, clean and easy to navigate aisles, 85-90% of everything is priced on the shelves, nothing is covered in dust, Associates are working on the floor and readily available to assist you if you need help. I saw things that I had never seen before in most areas of comfort living and accessories. I'm very glad I stopped by and will be going back again soon! Large open layout parking lot in front of the building.

I always go there because I look for places that are individually owned and not a big conglomerate store besides when I go here the people know where their stock is and what they have and don't have and are able to help you and answer questions unlike The Big Box store when you ask them a question they look in outer space like some kind of spaceships going to land and answer your question

So grateful to have this local hardware store. I needed a new chain for a chainsaw and they had exactly what I needed. Same item at box store had to be ordered and was $1 more. I’ve been to this store for other items and found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Such a pleasure to shop here.

Very good selection of quality home improvement supplies and tools. Friendly staff. I often go here knowing that I might spend a few more dollars for premium products and to also not have to deal with the chaos of Lowes down the pike. Support locally owned businesses!

It was great to see the old Ace Hardware at this location get replaced by..... A new Ace Hardware! It's cleaner and brighter. The staff is all friendly. And they've got a very good selection of all the little doodads necessary to finish the job. Prices are a little higher than at blue or orange, but the convenience and always being able to find somebody to help you are worth it sometimes.

This is one of the best hardware stores around. I needed to purchase some drain opener for a backed up sink. I was standing in the isle, looking clueless no doubt, and the gentlemen at the help counter made eye contact with me. I had a few questions for the guys and they were full of answers and witty anecdotes. A change of pace from the Megastores you can be sure of that. They now have a customer for life. The hours are more than accommodating, the store is full of great products, that are reasonably priced, and the customer service is great....from the help counter to the register operator. Bottom line is I am sure glad that I found this place. Count me as the newest happy customer.

Great local Hardware store that I have shopped at for years. They have a little bit of everything. Forget the big box stores and go to places like this instead. You can save a lot of money with the coupons they mail out. Great hardware, tools, and paint selections. I especially love this store at Christmastime. If you're looking for it they have it. Havertown location is a new store relocated from Upper Darby.

When i go to Home Depot or Lowe's and ask a question i get blank stares and shrugs from people who have absolutely no idea what i'm talking about and couldn't care less. When i go to Ace in H-town, i get Dave helping me through my problem, which was solved about 15 minutes after i got home following his instructions after he took about 10 minutes to talk me through something at the store. This is what a hardware store should be.

This is why I prefer small places to big box stores... the guy working there seemed to know everything! He gave me everything I needed, and also offered super valuable advice about household issues I hadn't considered that are now on my radar. Awesome place.

They seemed a bit understaffed. The young lady at the front desk seemed a little dismissive, though she might have just been tired from working all day. Store seemed well-organized and clean, though I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for... They might have been out of stock, but I can't be sure because the salesperson left me and took off without as much as a "Would there be anything else, sir". Just kinda pointed to the general area of the substitute item, and bolted. I was like, huh. I'll update this review and rating after I visit this store again.

This store, while branded under the Ace Hardware moniker, continues to provide consistent service that has more of a "Mom & Pops" feel to it, rather than the corporate retail-type atmosphere. Unfortunately, the prices seem to reflect this, but they are fair, not great... but fair. Every now and again, you will come across some decent sale items. Also, they ALWAYS accept discount coupons, even those non-manufacturer coupons that have already expired. And customer service has never been an issue... Employees have been knowledgeable, and returning purchases is simple; the validity never comes to question. Overall... Very good. If the purchase pricing was better, my review rating would easily yield 5 stars.

We try to frequent locally owned. It's a little pricy. They have some very knowledgeable workers. Their muclh and other large bags are piled outside on their sidewalk. I was looking at the potting soil and a car backed into me. I know space is limited but they should correct this

They sell an organic grass and weed killer concentrate by brand NATRIA that I have not been able to find in any local stores in South Jersey or the Philadelphia area. The salespeople were friendly & helpful, even at 15 minutes before closing time.

This is a hardware store. Run as a hardware store should be run. It's clean, and well ordered. The staff is helpful and they have practically every item I expect to find in a hardware store.

We are so happy to have a local hardware store again right by Acme. This is so convenient for running in for random screws, light bulbs, kitchen supplies or anything you can think of. We appreciate the customer coupons.

The old hardware store store has been opened as a new one with a very helpful staff and stocked with new product. Today was the third time they had something in stock that the local big boxes didn't have. This is now my first stop. It maybe a bit more, but saves me the walking around for an hour at a big box and not finding what I need. Its a great local hardware store...

I bought a rechargeable snow shovel for my husband. When trying to put it together the main handle would not connect to the bottom of the shovel. When I purchased it I could only find it at a NJ store. I just tried to return it at my local PA store in Havertown and was told I couldn’t return it there. It doesn’t say anywhere in their return policy that an item must be returned to specific store point of purchase. I was told that this particular store didn’t carry that shovel so they won’t do a return.

I ordered a hard to find lawnmower online from Fisher's Ace HW. Pickup was quick and easy. One of their staff members graciously helped me load it into my car.I found the store to be well stocked with many items that have been hard to find. I will keep Fisher's in mind for my Hardware needs.

I look forward to going shopping here. Unlike the big box stores, the layout is user friendly, the staff, friendly, knowledgeable & easy to find, but not in your face. And, the prices are good. p.s. They have great Christmas stuff & if you want a grill or something for one, they are the answer.

Wonderful selection, good value , especially w/ monthly sales flyers, attentive staff.I can get in/out a lot faster than big box hardware stores and find a human being to check out. Big box stores on ocassion have ONE cashier and the rest are "robots".
