Great experience getting my bike repaired here! Seth was great communicating repair time and follows ups for me to approve changes. I was borrowing a friend’s European-made cruiser bike and both tires went flat. Came back good as new in a few days even with the hurdles of taking the wheels off. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable fix!

Excellent customer service!I was searching everywhere online for a specific light for my Bern helmet. Found one listed on their website. I emailed the shop and I got a swift response. A few emails later Seth said he's happy to mail the item to me in the UK. Throughout the transaction he's been transparent and efficient.I am absolutely delighted with the service. It was securely packed and I got the light in about 1.5 weeks.This seemingly simple transaction says a lot about the shop and Seth. He is a trustworthy, reliable and efficient person.

There are many reasons why Mechanic bicycle shop has five star reviews. My experience is no different. My family and I have a few bikes, often I am taking one in and picking one up. Seth is an absolute joy to deal with. His expertise, and attention to detail make you want to bring your bikes in to be serviced! He makes sure that your bike leaves set up properly, and always seems to work just as hard to save you time and money. He cares about his customers, and what leaves his shop. If you’re going to spend any time on a bicycle, you should have Seth check over your ride. He makes sure your set up is right, saving you from discomfort, and hat your bike is safely assembled. On top of that, his extensive knowledge can guide you through any maintenance issue, or help you prep for a new challenge. I recommend this place to anyone that’s into cycling. Seth is great at this little shop whenever you need something fixed. Will give a cost breakdown and be very clear about how long service will take, how he can accommodate for different things. Although the hours are somewhat limited, he offers incredible service for a small operation!

June-2023This is my favorite bike shop and the only one that I now use. To say that Seth is an outstanding mechanic and has given me great advice is an understatement.October -2022. This is an gem of a store. I needed to have one of my tubeless tires replaced quickly and found this store thru Google. I was very happy with the quality of tire and timeliness of the repair. I also really enjoyed talking to Seth. The next time I need maintenance done on my bike (it has electronic shifting so I won't take it just anywhere), I will certainly take it here to see what they can do. My guess, they will do an awesome job.

Seth and team are simply awesome. I've had just one experience here, but I'll definitely be returning for future bike service needs.I brought Seth a new BB and crankset with hopes of a 48 hour turn around. Even with my mixup ordering the wrong BB, and he proactively ordering the correct one the next day, he still delivered! He communicated with me quickly via email at every twist and turn as well.The work seems flawless and the new crank looks and feels sharp. The shop is such a casual and welcoming place. I have been to the Mechanic store three times and had great experiences each time. It is clear that Seth has a wealth of knowledge about products, local routes, and repair. They carry as much product as you can expect these days and service a variety of levels of riders. They have a generous saddle tryout policy if you are in the market for a more comfortable fit!

In a world where you usually need to choose between turn-around time, expertise, and keeping it local, Mechanic gives you all three. I've had three different road/TT bikes in for maintenance since they opened and have never thrown anything at them they can't handle. Seth brings great knowledge of everything cycling with none of the pretentiousness.

Travelling through town on Sunday, needed a tune up on my folding bike with same day service. Seth was great, with commutation leading up to the service. Had the bike done in a matter of hours. Bike rides like new. Highly recommended!

I stumbled across these guys looking for a bike shop to fix my bike that couldn’t be repaired by 2 other shops. Seth & company were insanely detailed, explained the issue and went over what was going on. In my opinion, this is the best shop in the area- I won’t be going anywhere else.My next bike will be from here, and all of the maintenance as well. Don’t overlook this place!

I needed a quick repair. These guys delivered and then some.This store is right across the street from Haverford College. Quick 2 minute commute from Ardmore or Bryn Mawr area.Rhea and Seth were in the shop. I'm not sure if one of them or both of them own the place, but they act like it. Because they not only know how to give you amazing customer service, but they do it sincerely. And they know how to multi task.This is the kind of place I love to support. People make such a HUGE difference. And these folks are AMAZING.I have a new bike shop! Thank you so much!!!

I bought a new bike and needed someone to assemble it for me. This was especially challenging due to COVID and many shops were either closed, taking appointments with a month long wait or charging to even inquire about an appointment. I found this bike shop online and emailed them. Within 30 minutes I got an email back saying to just drop it off anytime during their work hours. No deposit required. I dropped it off and they had it assembled in just a few days. I was worried it wouldn’t fit in my car so they delivered it to my house for a nominal fee. Their customer service was outstanding. Totally recommend this shop in Haverford. Parking right out front and easy to find since it is right on Lancaster Avenue.

Great new bike shop just off Haverford’s campus! Took my Townie in for a repair on the brakes and they took care of it right away. The staff are friendly and super transparent about pricing for services. I’ve never written an online review before but this was just great!
