Moved here recently from another part of the Poconos and I couldn’t be happier with this store. They will have everything you might need and then some - lots of neat products you won’t find in the big box stores. We go through a ton of produce and everything here is always great, even in the dead of winter. You have me coming back weekly for those green, green bananas. Had a few rib eyes that came out nice and tender. Was so surprised to find some of the ‘healthy,’ off the wall brand snacks I buy for my kids. Good customer service. This isn’t a Long Island botique grocer, this is my year-round Pocono community grocer and I love and appreciate them being here.

Expiration dates on produce, meat and other non perishable can be outdated. You’ll definitely find expired perishable items. Customer service is superb.

I gave 4 stars because I don't consider it a "gourmet" grocery store. They have a pretty good selection of foods plus a little beer & wine area. Once you buy from this part you must take the alcohol out to your vehicle.You can, of course, go back in to get your groceries. It's pretty good for a local(& vacation) store. (Lake Walenpaupak is very close as is I 84.)

My 1st experience here was purchase of lb chop meat that was red on the outside but once I opened it, it was bad, real bad had to dump it. Wasn’t driving back that night. If it isn’t can goods, bottled water, fresh commercial bread and safely dated dairy I will go shopping elsewhere. The store is dirty, forget the produce and meats. The prices are very high but probably because of all the products they have to discard for going bad. I feel sorry for the owner and they should down size drastically to save them selves from going out of business. Any one who recently gave them five stars doesn’t get out much and probably only really goes there for lottery, lol. Check out my photo of the (brown) turned bad meats that are still in the case.

If you have children with Autism or Any type of Disability I don’t recommend taking them in because I have a nephew with that and he has been made fun of the times we’ve been in and the Employees have done it non stop and they have they’re Favorites, the Greeter was fresh with my mother and he is only nice to people he likes, I don’t like the attitude they give everytime I go inand this will be the final, I Don’t Recommend most places around these Areas Tannersville is a much better area.Worst Store in the State of Pennsylvania!!!

Love this hometown market, I stop in when I'm in the area. Some items are reasonable and you can always pick up a deal or two if you have their gold club card. Clean and friendly keeps me coming back.

This is the closest grocery store to lake Wallenpaupack as far as I'm aware. This place has effectively everything you could need for your stay including but not limited to: dry foods, meat, dairy, beer, soda, candy, toiletries, OTC medicine and more. To my suprise the prices actually weren't expensive at all, and were cheaper than my hometown on Long Island. My only qualm is that they don't have a pharmacy, so things like non -"PE"- pseudophedrine aren't carried there, although this isn't a big deal, so I've kept the 5 star rating. Overall, has what you'll need at good prices, would reccommend.

Well seeing I been working here for probably close to a year, nobody can give an more honest review than me. Every buisness has it's ups and downs, none is perfect and there's lots of things that needs to be changed. However, I love the people who work there, feels like a secondary home to me.

Everything costs at least 30% more than any surrounding store, and shopping here was a generally annoying experience. Couldn't get help finding anything and I was not asking to find much. Then, I finally scanned 4 items at checkout and was falsely accused of not scanning one of them. What should have been 5 minutes took nearly a half hour.

This is a well stocked small town grocery store. Good variety on just about everything you would want. Beer and wine section is a nice bonus. Good homemade heat and eat entrees are great for a fast meal. The only negative is the employees really need some coaching in friendliness and customer service. I like to shop there, but cringe at the checkout lines.

Nice food store, basically in the middle of nowhere. It's a great place for the locals to get their grocery shopping done if they're limited on transportation. They don't have too much competition in the area, so their prices for some things are a little higher than competitors. I've worked for them for about 2 years, the management has always treated me well, but some of the departments can be understaffed.Overall, they're not the worst place to shop but they could be better. They do have some really good sales from time to time so their catalog is worth checking out. I've personally always enjoyed their bread baked in store. If you don't feel like driving the extra 10+ miles to somewhere else, this isn't the worst spot you can shop.

I purchased 22 gallons of diesel fuel at dutches. Beware there is water in their fuel! I called the manager and dutches refuses to except any responsibility for water in their fuel. The truck was running perfectly fine until I filled up the tank at their pumps. It immediately started bucking and missing and of course was attributed to water in the fuel.I spent $125 for nothing plus $140 to have the water fuel separator system in my Ford F350 repaired because of the water in the fuel! Buyers beware!

This is a pretty nicely laid out supermarket. They have a surprisingly great variety of beer and wine to choose from. Nice looking produce, and the meat selection is quite nice. This place has a lot parking and can be easily seem from the road. Process are a tad high but without a lot of competition this can be expected.

Came here about a week ago to grab some drinks while on vacation. Staff very helpful and friendly. Coming from the very quick-paced New York City, thought cashiers were slow. No one was wearing a mask so felt a bit unsafe and a lack of social distancing was present.

Nice big clean, well lit supermarket. Plenty of parking. Better prices than some others that are in the general vicinity. Bring a jacket because no matter what season, they keep it pretty chilly in there. Attached Mobil gas station has average prices for the area and usually has a pump with ethanol free premium unleaded available.

Bad prices, bad quality of food, high management is horrible but some employees are sweet. Don't trust them, big Scam Artists. Pack of Hotdogs $7 something, but I can get the same ones at Walmart for $2. Just an example on how much they scam people.

Stopped for gas. Prices are within average of the area.Wife did some shopping in the store got a few snacks for the road.Store was clean staff was friendly if you're in the area I would recommend you stop by.

We LOVE Dutch’s!! The prices are great for an independent supermarket. If they don’t have something ask they will try and get it for you. EVERYONE is so nice and helpful. The store is always clean. Dutch’s is the only store we shop!!

This is my local market, I stop in several times a week. It is always well stocked and organized. Today we bought the fresh made fried chicken and it was delicious! Prices are good, parking good, hours good. Friendly employees.

Even the sale price on most items is high. Produce is less than impressive. You can smell the bathrooms from the bakery section. And you have to hold the pump at the gas station the whole time which is a big pet peeve of mine especially considering it's like Antarctica there in the winter. There are a few really sweet cashiers and they carry the raw milk from the local dairy, if not for them I'd never give them my money.

We were in the area for vacation and much further from supermarkets than we are used to. After a terrible experience and being ripped off at Ahart's we found this place on the way to the lake and boy am I glad! Fair prices and helpful staff, we came back here several times on our trip. Well worth the drive!

This place has food booze and gas in one spot just before you get close to the lake. Good selection. Downside is the gas isn't cheap and the booze is limited to roughly a single 12 pack per person.

I was disappointed by rude employees. One employee hit my friend with the cart she was pushing, presumably because she didn't get out of the way quickly enough after not hearing the employee ask her to move. The cashier seemed annoyed she had to ring up multiple items, more so that we used two coupons, and it was the end of the damn world when she had to manually enter a UPC. There doesn't seem to be any competition in the vicinity, so I don't expect they see any reason to improve.

We just moved to the area and have visited Dutches afew times now. We travel pretty deep with a family of seven and that can sometimes bring a mixture of looks, but not at Dutch's. I love my big family and I love the atmosphere in Dutch's. It's not a super big store but it has what we need. The prices can be pricey but we do love to utilize the membership card that makes it more affordable and also helps with discounts off their gas! The staff are always so friendly. The store is clean,Con, the deli could mix their pasta salad abit more to prevent drying but those friendly faces make those small things overlook able.

Customer service is horrible, deli makes awful sandwiches that taste old. Management is extremely disrespectful and rude, some employees are not qualified for work experience. Younger employees sweet but the older ones are rude.
