Ownership has changed, prices have gone up ridiculously, meats are bad, store smells, floors need mopping, veggies & fruits are not fresh. Very short staffed. Ice cream always seems to have melted then refreased. Carts are deplorable, rusted, broken down and have the Christmas Tree Store logo on them.

Well she once you asked me. It was Horrible!! Before I got inside of the store I got hit in the face with a foul smell of rotten food. As I walked in with a N95 mask on the smell made me sick to my stomach. But the worst part was people were still standing there waiting for check out like they didn’t smell it. No one should ever have to shop in a place that smells like that Ever!! Sav A Lot employees that work there should be ashamed. Just because people don’t live in a rich neighborhood we still shouldn’t have to be subjected to that kind of behavior. I hope & pray they cleaned it up & that doesn’t ever happen again

Don't you hate when a store puts out coupons for a product and you go get the product(bacon 2pkgs for $5 and 10lbs of chicken leg quarters for $3.10°) and there is none left 🙄🤷🧓

This save a lot needs an upgrade on staff, they sell expired products including produce that's suppose to be fresh, apparently they don't check for expiration dates definitely not shopping here anymore

UPDATE: THIS IS AS OF 11/8/2022.THAT'S $6.99 FOR A 48OZ BOTTLE OF VEGETABLE OIL. I WENT DOWN THE STRIP MALL TO FAMILY DOLLAR AND PAID $3.85. WTHThis place is outrageously expensive. Especially in the area that it is located. Folks can't afford an $8 dozen eggs. Come on now....

They always sale me expired food. The bubba turkey burgers are horrible and they sold me old frosted flakes. I'm wondering why they're on sale. I got my answer when i went to open the box. They stunk so bad

Tomatoes were rotten with bugs on them, no bags for produce, prices are rediculous, seasoned roast pork were all expired, wrong tags everywhere, Scott toilet paper 4 pack was over $6.Cashier agreed the place is poorly kept because short staffed. Hope no one gets sick. Will never shop there again!

Found this store by accident and now I go here all the time. Clean and always stoked up. This has become one of my go to stores and I dislike (hate)the other Save A Lot. This store is a pleasure with nice employees and stocked with all the foods. Will return

Shopped in the Sav a lot in Folcroft pa on Delmar center. This store has gone down in the past several months. Prices are much higher. Some staff are unfriendly and rude. About 7 pm on June 8 and cashier was having trouble deleting the cherries which I disputed the price of 8.94. She called the manager on duty 4 times to help her and the manager a female Caucasian lady came out after about 10 minutes like she was mad to be disturbed and had to deal with all the customers frustrated behind me. The price of the cherries were clearly marked 2.00 per pound and clearly says 2 pound bag for 3.99. I have picture of the label. The manager looked at the label and came back and said they are 3.99 a pound. Who would pay that price ??? We went back and checked the label took a photo told her it does not say that. She blew us off with unfriendly Attitude. Hey owner of Sav a lot your parking lot is empty for a reason like high prices and bad customer service. The failure or success of a company starts with good leadership. You are failing !!!! I’ve shopped here many times but no more. Oh by the way customer retention is the best source of revenue and profit. You can’t keep customers with the poor service and high prices you are delivering !!!

The Save A Lot on Del Mar drive in Folcroft Pa used to be a nice store. Someone told me it was sold about a year ago. Prices are high for the marginal quality of items. Went in there today for two small items. Prices were incorrectly marked. Didn’t notice until I was home. Someone had a bright idea to rearrange the aisles. Items are not where they should be. Also sections don’t make sense with regard to layout. What a mess !!!

Sorry Nice Staff! If you're going for what was in the circular; this is the place! BUT, that's it! You've got to really take a good look at expiration dates and the prices. Laundry detergent was $8 at ShopRite today the same brand is $4 at Walmart it's $2. But it's not worth it to me dealing with the nonsense at Walmart so I'll spend $4 @ShopRite and get the remainder of my groceries. I then have to hit Acme for the Edys sugar free triple chocolate ice cream

I went to 2 and ended up in Grocery outlet Chester Ave 5 stars for themSave a lot #1 as we were coming to the cashier announcement over the intercom was EBT down cash and card only. She had to EBT#2 Save a lot after getting what we was trying to get in #1 either they didn't have it or it cost up to $3 more.

I went to this store one day just to get some lime juice for some margaritas. They had everything I needed, and also some yeast that I had been trying to find for a while. It was pretty hard to come by during quarantine, since everyone was trying their hand at baking bread. This store was pretty empty and I did not have to worry too much about crowds.

I have been shopping at this Sav a lot for about 10 years but unfortunately yesterday was my last day there after my bill was 20 dollars more than what I usually pay for same items. Many of the prices had increased in less than a month ago to almost a dollar per item. For instance can salmon 2.49 to 3.29. Vegetable oil from 1.99 to 2.49. Every item that I always purchase including the normal Sav A Lot brands had drastically increased. Many customers in the store were complaining that the prices were now the same as competitors prices using Top name brands to Sav a Lot off brands and were saying they might as well go to Walmart or Acme. . A worker said this is now a franchise and not Corporate. Increasing prices at the cost of losing the number of people coming through the door will negatively impact profitability. People previously went to Sav A Lot over the years as a niche market to save money. Well the Competitors now have massive sales , there own distribution of off brands unique to their stores and will take your customers since the marketing strategy at Sav A Lot appears to have changed to No Longer Saving A Lot !!!!

I absolutely love SAL, it's near, and except for a few minor changes, I know where to go, it's clean and the people are very personable, my only problem, I ALWAYS forget my bags!!! Sad the freezer boxes are down !!!

The store is great itself; organized, big isles, great selection, very affordable prices! But the cashier i had was so super rude and unhelpful and just so horrible that it ruined my whole experiance. I wasn't going to ever go back but I will give it another shot! 😒

You'll be saving a lot for sure because you can't even find the usual items you need. Beem. Shopping here for years and everytime I go to get my usual food and drinjs they are always lacking supplies especially Produce, Juice, and Milk and even more. Worst I always got to go somewhere else to get it.

I like this location is kept clean and stocked on the days that I visited this location. When the lines got crowded, they opened another register to help, which is something that most stores don't do when it is needed.

They have a lot of great stuff great prices it's convenient to shop it's a nice store the produce is fresh the aisles are neat the meat is great I've bought bacon that tastes great milk bread eggs it's a nice store to have it in neighborhood it's right up the street from me for cashiers are very nice employees are great to talk to everyone seems friendly I like they place things like in the front of the store even products with brand names so you get to see and have the opportunity to buy it a great price it's a good idea to do people like me can see that stuff it's not hidden

This is a corporate owned store so watch which ad your looking at. The Darby store is a privately owned store, the manager at the darby store yelled at me, literally, because I didn't know the difference & didn't know that their prices & ads are different. Yea, Darby has wonderful customer service, NOT! The Folcroft store is way cleaner & way nicer.

I was in the store Saturday when the man in front of me was trying to pay and his card would not work after at least 8 tries he started to walk away when the young man cashier named lev said sir come back took out his wallet and paid for the man's stuff then said god bless u sir.. What a great thing to do . what a great man lev is . for the manager at save a lot lev should get a raise what a nice kind sweet young man lev is.. God bless u lev
