Something really impressive about Trax Farms is the size and scope. You can tell how well they’ve self-managed since their establishment in 1865. The entire few buildings are surrounded by a mass of farmland. When we were checking out, the lady behind us said “These people have their hands in everything.” She was right. They have sections for craft beer, deli, produce, gardening, outdoor, and the building is large enough that they needed to build a loft to hold the antique store.Being a very reputable and well-established local business, the elephant in the room here is price. I was surprised by the price of everything and I hope you’re not. Because of price alone, we could never see ourselves going here regularly unless the chicken seasoning or cookies we got are the best we’ve ever tasted.

Amazing place. Great prices. So much to offer, wasn't expecting such a variety...of everything! Antiques, plants/gardening, and typical farmer's market things. So glad we stopped!

Absolutely beautiful! Drove from Somerset County PA to visit. Plants are plentiful and healthy. Variety is amazing. Could spend all day there. Will definitely go back again.

I buy aquatic plants here for our little pond from time to time. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable and always have good recommendations. The plants grow vigorously in the pond and I never have any problems.

My family and I love Trax farm ! We come here every year for all the fall activities! Some of the fall activities include the hayride , which takes you up on the hill to the pumpkin patch where you could pick your own pumpkin. They also had fun activities that you pay cash for, such as an art project , train rides, giant jumper thing, and a rockwall ! They also had tons of food options and the popcorn stands and some food trucks as well .

The place in general is cute. We went for the fall festival and paid 14 bucks for the hayride. The pumpkins were WAYYY overpriced (went all the way up to 40 DOLLARS?!?!?!) overall a nice pumpkin patch but better ones in Pittsburgh that offer more at a cheaper rate. The market was nice and lots of activities for kids (not sure if they cost money)

Great place. Big food store with fresh made items, lots of fresh produce and boutique brands. Big garden store and seasonal decorative store for all your Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc decorating needs!

Went out to their annual pumpkin patch event yesterday. Personally I thought it was expensive and over priced for everything from the children bouncing houses, pumpkins and inside products. You could of spent an easy hundred dollars taking the grandchild as we did. They do however put on a nice display with activities and have a nice variety of products.

Neighborhood farm market as well as nursery then their wonderful gift department. Need to add in all kind of specialty items in foods, baked goods and wine and beers.

This is one of my go-to plant stores usually but today I came for lunch with friends. Had a very delicious sandwich! Everything about Trax is quality, I love it here.

As a college kid, I love their market to get away to for a couple hours. They have decent prices and I am never disappointed in the quality of their food. Their Fall Fest Activities have become a tradition to go to and I thoroughly enjoy how friendly they are. Their Apple Cider Slushies are a must have!

Nice Farm based Market and Variety store. Cool things to do outside for kids and adults like hayrides etc. (Especially during the fall season.)Lots of selections in the large variety shop area. This area is particularly nice during holidays. The holidays are usually when they have the most products and product selection. The market area and bakery always have a great selection of farm fresh products. There is also a wine area with occasional tasting offered. Also a nice outdoor area attached to the building which has pumpkins, mums, live trees, etc. In a nutshell one of the nicest Farmers based markets in Pittsburgh's South Hills area.

We brought our kids for some fall activities, and even though it was raining off and on, we had a great time! The store is huge and full of flowers, garden products, various home decor and gift type items (I'll definitely be returning when doing Christmas shopping) and there's a whole side with fresh produce that we didn't even get to! We got food from some of the various stands and food trucks, and ate at the wooden benches indoors. (I highly recommend the apple cider!) Then, we took the hay ride up to the pumpkin patch, where there were pigs, goats, cows, & donkeys in pens, which the kids loved seeing! The corn maze was also up there along with buckets of bats & wiffle balls, a volleyball net & ball, Ladderball games, a football, and bean bag tosses! Even the adults got in on the fun and were tossing and hitting balls around! Everyone had so much fun; it was a great family event!

Wonderful services, Ali was an amazing help. She even potted the succulents for me. She is so knowledgeable and you can tell she loves being around all the plants. Affordable prices, too. Great experience overall!

The service at checkout was extremely slow, to the point where buying two muffins became a fifteen minute trip. The selection is good, but we were definitely hoping for a quicker trip
