Everyone we worked with for our bathroom remodel was wonderful: the estimate and design plan process with Brett, project manager Geoff, lead carpenter Chris, workers Andrew and Cillian, and painter Lindsey. They were professional and respectful of our home.We chose DBC because we felt they understood our desire to maintain the vintage character of our house and we trusted in the quality of their work.We ran into bumps along the way, as is often expected with old houses, and the overall pace of the project was longer than expected, but we are thrilled with the final product. Chris’ attention to detail was above and beyond.We would recommend and definitely use DBC ourselves again for future projects.

We are extremely pleased with our experience with DBC construction. From the beginning, when Paul gave us the estimate and Steve measured, communication has been above and beyond. Every time I would call or text Paul, he would get back to me within 5 or 10 minutes. I never had such quick communication from any contractors ever before. The men who did the construction of our new deck and installed the new back door were very well trained, professional, courteous young men. Luke and Nathan were so hard working through fog and snow, rain, ice, and freezing temperatures. They worked on our old farmhouse without complaint. Their cheerful attitudes and fantastic work ethic impressed us greatly. When Nathan (who is over 6 ft tall) spent two days in our 3-ft tall crawl space in our 150-year-old cellar to replace a rotten beam they found, I was in awe of his skill, courage, and determination. My seven brothers wouldn't even go in that crawl space when we were growing up here. DBC did an absolutely incredible remodel of our basement!! They transformed the space from a dark, damp unusable space to a beautiful living area! Their floor and wall system is amazing! The design they came up with is going to make that room such an asset to our home!It was an effortless process! From the design stage to the final tweaks, it was a great experience. Josh and his crew worked non stop to complete the process. I've never had a cleaner, more respectful crew. They went above and beyond to make sure the final project was perfect. They all deserve a raise!I cannot recommend DBC enough! Thank you for our beautiful remodel!

We wanted to add on a sunroom so that my sister could enjoy the backyard year round. We were beyond happy with the work the DBC did!! DBC went above and beyond in designing an ADA compliant ramp for easy access to and from the patio as my sister uses a wheelchair. They worked closely with us to design the perfect setup and listened to everything we wanted and needed in the space. Everyone was so nice and personable!! Jeff still asks about my sister, how she is doing and how she is enjoying her sunroom! I would 10/10 recommend DBC!!!

Amazing company! Everyone through the whole process of installing our new screen room/deck were detailed from start to finish. Huge thanks to Elliot,Steve,Phil,Zeke,Nate, all the electricians etc..cleaned up everyday always filled me in with anything that came up. Quality of work was A+++. We had an amazing experience start to finish with DBC construction! We had quotes from 3 different contractors & they were completely prepared & professional from start to finish! We never had to question how it was going to look or what materials they were going to use… the crew was amazing! Worked very efficiently even with the lovely rainy weather we had ( had it built in late January) they even power washed my driveway & deck when they were done so it looked fresh! I am in love with my new deck & will be calling them when we are ready for our next project!! I have my forever contractors!! Thank you so much

DBC did a great job of remodeling our bathroom and bedroom back to classic craftsman beauty! We had the same highly skilled professional contractor every day until the project was complete. Andy was great to work with! Very accommodating to the look we were going for. He was able to repair original plank flooring in the bedroom and reuse all the original trim in both rooms. They also did an excellent job drywalling over plaster ceilings and extensive patching. I would definitely recommend them if you value restoration when remodeling your home!

DBC did an incredible job finishing our basement! We have water issues, so we knew we couldn't have drywall. The materials DBC installed made our basement the best room in our house and safe from any water in the future. Sergey and Howie were so professional and so good at what they do. They made everything perfect, even going above and beyond with the smallest details! They even took out two walls and opened up our space. We will only have DBC do any work for us in the future!

DBC is an excellent, high quality company. The team did a great job at explaining the options available for our roofed deck project. I was able to do some of the demolition work myself which helped reduce the cost. The actual work crew was great. They answered questions and made some accommodations as needed during the project. A suggestion for improvement would be communications from the project leadership during the project. I did feel that the work crew became my focal point for information once the project was started. Maybe that is the business model, but there was a clear reduction in communications from the project management team once the work crew started. None the less, the quality is great and we are looking forward to enjoying the deck.

We had a wonderful experience with DBC from the initial inquiry phase to the scheduling of our final walk through! Kristin, Jeff, Travis, Mike, and Howie were all incredible to work with! Their frequent communication put our anxious minds to rest.After the project was finished, we found a small problem with the flooring due to how our concrete was laid when our house was initially built. Mike came back the following week and went above and beyond to help level the floor out.The final project is beautiful! We will be using DBC for future projects!

This has been by far the absolute best company I have ever had the pleasure of employing! Every interaction between any of the employees and us has been wonderful, customer service is above and beyond, and the work put in is absolutely stellar! I was very wary of hiring a company to come in and remodel our bathroom but DBC has been the best find by far! There's not enough words in the English language to describe how over the moon we are with their work and the finished bathroom. I will continue to highly recommend them to anyone I know that are in need of any remodeling. We love our new floor! DBC also removed and finished the cabinetry around our tiny refrigerator which also looks just as I invisioned it to be. Kevin arrived on time each day. He is very professional, respectful and pays attention to details. Geoff also stop in each day to ensure the team had what they needed and to make sure project was going as expected. We live in an area that floods so we wanted to have a basement system installed that would be as mold resistant as possible. When we met with Doug and he told us the system they use is mold resistant we knew it was a perfect fit for us. Yes, the cost might be a little more now but I(we) would rather only refinish our basement once. The entire process was painless from start to finish. The crew was amazing and professional while working on our basement. We are in love with our basement now. We have so much extra space and it feels like home. They hung both sets of barn doors to our new storage area. We absolutely recommend DBC to anyone and everyone we talk to!

From project start to completion, DBC was extremely professional, informative, and knowledgeable. Elliot worked with me in originally hearing out my concerns with a basement bathroom remodel project. From there Barry was able to come out and get me scheduled quickly. Then had the pleasure of meeting Josh, Dana, and Adam and I’m sure others I’m missing. The crew was courteous and kept me fully in the loop with their schedule and any changes to the design. They listened to my concerns and were flexible to some changes I requested as well. The work was done very well and I am very pleased. All in all from my first phone call until the last day, it was under two months! Just in time to meet my needed plans. Since we bought our home 15 years ago we've had several different contractors do projects large & small for us. Our experiences have ranged from just poor quality of workmanship, to actually creating more problems for us than they solved. From our first email contact discussing what we were looking for it was obvious Doug was different.We were so impressed after having Doug out to look at our 1st floor windows & worn out patio door that we decided to have him do our 2nd floor windows as well! Besides being the most responsive contractor we've ever dealt with, he really made it his mission to find out what our needs and our tastes were to give us exactly what we wanted in a finished project.We could't be any happier with our new Marvin energy efficient windows & patio door--finished beautifully to a "T" in our more rustic taste! They're so gorgeous I refuse to cover them with our old heavy drapes!If you're looking for a construction company that does business the way it should be done--this is it! Doug's mission statement of "Treat everyone well", "Keep everything clean" & "Excel every time" aren't just words, it's how he and all of his employees actually do their jobs.

DBC helped us transform our backyard from old and rarely used to an awesome space that we can use all the time in nice weather! They removed an old, junky patio and installed a composite deck with a roof over it. It’s exactly as we envisioned. What we were most impressed with was the quality of the materials used, the details that we were given before construction even started, and most importantly the amazing crew of Nate, Caleb, Khris, Zeke and the best foreman we could have asked for, Luke. I’m extremely particular and they exceeded our expectations and then some. Thank you!

They did a great job on the decks.Khris,Zeke and Caleb are a powerhouse team and on time everyday. The whole DBC organization made sure we we satisfied. Didn't have time to enjoy in latter part of 2023 but bring on Spring to fully enjoy. A few things that need tweeked when weather gets better. Would use again in the future. Wow these guys are the best! My office got destroyed by squirrels. Three and a half industrial trash cans full of nuts they removed from my ceiling. They came the day after I called, got me in just weeks after the initial visit. Kind and professional. They worked hard and got everything done in a couple days! We used DBC to rebuild and expand our deck, including roofing a portion to create a porch. The construction team led by Khris was fantastic….. they were professional, friendly, and very skilled. All took great pride in making sure every detail was done correctly — to our satisfaction and theirs!Any of our questions or concerns were addressed and resolved — which hasn’t always been our experience in the past (with different contractors). The new deck is beautiful…… we will definitely use DBC for future projects!Update!!! 10/16/23Just finished our second big project with DBC — kitchen and bathroom renovation….We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! The whole team was outstanding — and the disruptive process of kitchen renovation was made less painful by the professionalism of Chris and the others.So glad we used DBC for our project — and will definitely do so in the future!

DBC Remodeling just completed an addition to our cottage and they did an outstanding job!! Doug and team worked so diligently to stay on schedule even when we threw in a big added request to extend the new flooring into the existing room. I can't say enough about the responsiveness and patience that Doug had with all of our questions and requests.
