Hands down I trust this doctors in the practice. They take care of all of my babies, my Maltese who was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and diabetes, my Chihuahua and our huge black cat. They have listened to this panicked mama when Oliver was diagnosed and I have to work closely with them for his care. I recommend this practice for anyone who loves their pets as much as I do. I have been using them since Dr. Denish bought the practice many years ago.

I have been taking my pets to this vet for years and I always have a good experience. All of the vets are great! My most recent visit was with Dr. Mick, she is so kind and gentle. She was able to deal with both my spoiled fur babies, a gsd who’s overly dramatic and a Bernese mountain dog with severe vet anxiety! Dr. Denish is great, and has extensive experience with all types of animals. He is personable, very caring, and explained everything he was checking, why he was checking it, and what I as a pet owner should watch out for. He reviewed all behaviors, activities, and diet with me, so he was sure he had the best information on my cat when making his assessment and recommendations. This was our first visit for my cat and it couldn’t have been better. The front desk staff was very warm and friendly and the vet tech, David, was wonderful. Dr. Cantor was so helpful and kind and gave a very thorough exam. I am so happy that we chose this practice!

I LOVE DR. CANTOR!!!!! He is the only reason I go to this vet hospital! I have dealt with more than one rude tech. There are only a couple that are nice and helpful. The Veterinarian Dr. Cantor is amazing with my babies. The techs are another story.

I brought my senior cat in for some weight management after an 8 year absence from the vet (I know, I know). The vet tech and the Dr who worked with me and my old man were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and conscientious- and didn't shame me or suggest a million "missed" treatments, which I was apprehensive about. We're on a regular care schedule now, and I will be bringing my other cat and birds to them as well. It doesn't hurt that they're less than five minutes from my house in central EP! Thanks Elkins Park Vet Hospital!

Took Eli here for a daycare day bedorw boarding and the staff were so sweet, i felt completely comfortable leaving him. When i came back for him 8 hrs later he was happy and calm. I m glad i will b at peace leaving him in good hands while i m on vacation for a week! 🤗💯

We moved to the area around 2 years ago and had to find a new vet for our (3) dogs. Luckily we found Elkins Park Vet Hospital! Everyone there (vets, techs, and office staff) are all wonderful. We've mostly seen Dr. Cantor, who is kind, patient and very caring. We feel like we're in good hands with Elkins Park Vet clinic.

Doctor Denish recently treated our black lab Blaze, who suddenly fell ill after 12 1/2 great years. Doctor Denish spent lots of time with us, and worked diligently and compassionately to try to identify the issue. He even called out after hours to provide to us Blaze's blood results, and spent 45 minutes on the phone with me reviewing everything.Ultimately, we had to put Blaze to sleep due to internal abdomen bleeding.Thank you Doctor Denish for spending so much time with me. That dedication and compassion will keep up going to Elkins Park Veterinary Hospital.Kevin

Finally found a vet that takes good care of my two kittens. If i ever have any concern they are always willing to give advice on the babies. My one kitten just got her spayed done there and they updated me throughout the day and even do follow ups when she is at home. Definitely eased my nerves with her being away from me. If anyone is looking for a new vet this is the place! stress free environment, amazing staff, takes very good of the kittens, and your concerns will be their concerns too!

I have a 4yr old female german shepherd who has seasonal allergies and severe anxiety I took her to other vets in the area and it cost me thousands she was treated from 4 months old to almost 2 years old always a different diagnosis. Because of her condition no one would allow her to be given her shots or to be spayed I decided to try Elkins park after her previous vet said she was not cooperative and aggressive. She was seen by Dc. Cantor and immediately he was able to diagnose her 2 months later she got all her shots and spayed he’s been her doctor ever since. I also have a male Norwegian elk hound German shepherd mix I noticed that at 6 weeks he was waddling I immediately took him to Dc. Cantor and he discovered he had early hip dysplasia after a year of trial and error he is better then ever. Reasonably priced and always address your concerns I never leave reviews but I felt that I needed to for people who want to give up after seeing 5 different vets who all say it’s something different save yourself the trouble Elkins park knows what their doing.

I just took my new Guinea pig to the EPVH because they were the closest vet that handles exotic animals and was very impressed! The staff were super nice, the doctor was very friendly, funny and caring toward my gp. I will 100% continue to take my gp back to them!Update: unfortunately Mr. Nibbs passed away today due to complications from surgery. I miss my little buddy tremendously!! I only had him for 4 months.

I am so grateful to Dr Adam Danish for his care of my two parrots Leila and Cleo. He has cared for my parrots for the past 17 years and he is very knowledgeable about exotics, which is difficult to find. It is great to able to be present during the exam once again.

Elkins park veterinary hospital is the best place to go for reptiles. I couldn’t find a place real close to me that would take my four legged friend Gloria because I was concerned about her shell. I did so much research on where to take her and then I found this place. I highly recommend people take there reptile to Dr. Denish he is the one who looks at reptiles. He did such a great Job helping my four legged friend Gloria and gave me great tips on how to take better care of her. He trimmed her beak, he cut her nails. And did blood work on her. I’m so happy I finally found a place to take my four legged friend. Now I’ll be back in 3 months to get her beak/nails trimmed again. She wasn’t to happy with me afterwards but she made up with me lol.Thank youElkins park veterinary hospital.

Update you might want to consider another vet especially if your animal is sick during normal business hours, you will not be seen.. i have been a customer of this practice for about 20 years and have been taken my senior dog here every three months for at least two years! They would not squeeze us in and told us to go to an emergency clinic.What a disappointment and a disgrace. If you value service in an emergency during regular business hours please look elsewhere you will not be a priority!Dr Cantor was is so caring and compassionate in caring for my senior pup. Staff is super nice too!

Dr Cantor and the vet associates are very efficient and caring. They are prompt with appointments, take time with visits and even get on the floor to play with our Alfie as though he were their own. When they treated him for heart worms last year Dr C was great in all his explanations about these very scary treatments and all the staff was very thorough with follow up and questions. Fortunately the treatment worked and our special guy is heartworm free. We’re happy after 2+ years we finally got to see full unmasked faces of these wonderful animal lovers.

Took my tigger to Elkins park veterinary hospital after his condition wasn’t improving after seeing another veterinarian. Dr. Cantor was excellent with going over tigger medical history and ask the necessary questions to properly diagnose Tigger illness along with the exam. He provided tigger with the proper treatment and medication. I love that he was concerned with tigger being in pain and provide pain medication. I saw improvement by that night with tigger condition.

Staff seemed nice. Wanted to use this kennel for on-boarding my pet. Was told my mastif was too strong for the women staff. I asked a staff member if they handled large breeds, staff said yes. Was not a good match! I did get a free non-pay day at there day care. 😉
