Decided to try takeout order today at the Log Cabin Elderton Pa.Ordered a Steak salad to go for lunch. Had to wait 5 min's for salad. Place was clean..friendly staff..salad was delicious but more french frie's would have been nice...They have a large display of mouth watering dessert's that I will be trying the next time.

My husband and I went to the restaurant. I ordered a baked Italian sub. My husband ordered chili and a chef salad. My sub was not baked, the bun was toasted then topped with hot lunch meat causing a mushy bun. It had absolutely disgusting cooked salami. It was so salty I only ate half after picking out the salami. My husband’s chili was glorified tomato soup, so thin as the waitress was carrying it, it splashed the soup up the entire rim of the bowl and the soup was no where near full to begin with. My husband’s “chef” salad was a tossed salad with a very small amount of finely chopped ham. No one returned to our table until we were done with the food so my husband ate 1/3 of his meal with no drink as he had his initial cup of coffee with no refill. My Pepsi was fountain pop and cost $3.25. I will sum up our experience to say it was the same as the tiny curtains on the large windows in the dining room…. It fell way too short and did not cover our hunger.

We were here for breakfast, then for dinner on our return travel the same day. The food is great. The service is excellent. The coffee is good. We did not wait long for breakfast or dinner to be served. The parking area was large enough for our pick up truck and trailer. The country decor was very tasteful and the layout of the restaurant made it a very comfortable atmosphere. I would return. If your passing through, I would suggest stopping in.

The fried fish was pretty good, but the menu can be hit or miss. I'd recommend staying away from the meatloaf or pork chops though, courtesy of my mom's suggestions! very typical small town family restaurant.

Thee Log Cabin Family Restaurant is a small establishment on the outskirts of Eldenton right off of 422, and it is a comfy family-style restaurant with a friendly, quick staff and good vibes. They have a wide menu of comfort foods including burgers, desserts, and a small Italian menu, alongside daily specials. The comforting atmosphere is definitely the highlight of the place, feeling like Gram's cottage in the woods.

2nd time here and decided to try a different menu item.Very decent sized portions for the price and decently priced items. Very good food.First time, tried the Philly cheese steak wrap and the 2nd time tried the homemade meatloaf dinner. And my husband got the lasagna which came with a salad and garlic toast and the lasagna wad big enough for 2 people to share.

Nothing worst then a waitress with an Attitude! Facial and body language was very obvious that she didn't want to work with our party of #6!?? Food was fare for an expensive price! #2 breakfast meals cost us over $20.00 each! A #1 stall ladies room. Had a line the whole time!??? Will not return due to the poor service and cold food!???Parking: Lots of parking in a lot next to the restaurant! Handicapped ♿️ parking spots as well.. Van friendly too!Wheelchair accessibility: No Steps into the Restaurant!

It is a shame. Food is not bad. The one waitress is very nice. Do not go there unless you like playing games and getting treated horrendously. The two younger waitresses with glasses and longer hair are ignorant, and can't be "bothered" to treat customer's politely. There is no one that I could see in charge " front of house" to supervise their behavior. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT GO. Only bad review I have ever written.

I have never rated or filled out any reviews on a resturant before. I must do so this time. I have been to the Log Cabin Restaurant 3 times. The first time was amazing. I had the Roast Turkey and stuffing. It was wonderful! All white meat stuffing gravy mashed potatoes. Just like Thanksgiving at home. Our first time their the service was wonderful server was friendly. However, we have been there twice since. The two different servers we had were on the second/third visits were younger, extremely rude. I cannot express how truly awful there attitudes were from the start. I attempted to order the turkey (no longer able to order just the white meat), so I ordered stuffed pork chop special. I was told that it was not available until after 4 pm. Not true the table next to me was eating the stuffed pork chop. Plus the menu said it was available at noon. So then I ordered the hot meat loaf sandwich. The server then told me they were out of meat loaf. Coincidence I think not. 🤔. I will never go back. We ended up leaving without eating. Save yourself the aggragation do not go there.

What a Great Place. Food was Really Good. This Place has a Full Menu! So Many Choices. We split a grilled steak hoagie with fries and a chicken salad, plus coconut cream pie. My Granddaughter had a chocolate Milk Shake. Service was great 3 different waitresses provided excellent service. I Definitely will come back and have some ☕️ and 🥧 or maybe breakfast. 😉Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is available 😋
