Mom and I were cruising by with our latest oversized FB marketplace find strapped to the roof of the wagon one snowy morning, and came around the corner, and I remember it now in slow motion, pointing, "mom looooook", and a sharp turn was made! I didn't even know what this place was at first, but I knew a collector (like us) lived here, and knew we needed to grab a few pics! Our phones started snapping immediately. Then mom says "I think they roast coffee here", and my eyes opened wide, because we're both a bit of coffee aficionados. But also, we each needed a cup, so when I went inside and went right to the counter and asked "what do you make that's good?", just dieing for a maple latte at that point, I was no less than disappointed when the girl working the counter said they don't actually make anything there. They just roast coffee, and I guess make tea or whatever.Which is still cool! But I hope they know if they actually brewed the coffee they roast, and made the second little room to the left where you walk in, a place where you could sit and enjoy their delicious blends in all of their glory, well we definitely would've spent a lot more time and money there, without a doubt. Also if it were a coffee shop, I'd look at doing some meetings there, it'd be perfect! But maybe they do know all of this and it just comes down to local permits/zoning.But if that's the case... go to your town hall meetings and buy an Italian espresso machine, fo' sheezy. This place isn't the ugly duckling you think it is... it's an absolutely stunning gem, and is the only real destination I can think of in this town!Anyway, so they have their coffee packaged up, ground or whole bean, in all different sizes, K-cups and all of that. Prices were undeniably reasonable. One real cool part though, is they have these little "sampler packs" that are like a $1.50 and is enough to make 6 cups (half a pot). They have all different kinds of delicious blends, so we grabbed a few. Brewed up the maple bacon blend (I think) with some french toast, and it was SLAMMING, as expected. I have a couple more different "samplers" to try, and can't wait! A little gift bag with a few of these sample packs in them would make such a thoughtful and wonderful Christmas gift for any coffee lover!Well, let me just wrap this up by saying, this is such an awesome spot, definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back, hopefully before Christmas to do some shopping!Dietary restrictions: They don't serve food or brew coffee, they just roast it. But they definitely have decaf too.

Checked out this place for the first time and the smell of coffee is what draws you in. The offer a variety of flavor coffee and non-flavor coffee. I wish they did brew coffee to drink but they do have sample bags that make packing easier and to try a lot of their products. They also offer a variety of tea. It is an interesting store - old fashioned but cute.

I adore this local, old timey coffee shop! This impressive and welcoming Victorian is filled with heavenly smells, nostalgic trinkets, and other hand crafted finds for spoiling yourself or for thoughtful gift giving. The local, friendly, knowledgeable proprietor, Morgan, offers Fresh ground, gourmet blends to delight the senses. If you've driven by and haven't stopped in, do yourself a favor and savor the flavors. Say that three times, but not with your mouth full šŸŒ

This place is perfect if you're looking for coffee and teas but have commitment issues with finishing the whole thing. They have decaf and caffeinated options alike. They have small tester bags and large, regular sizes. They also have soaps, tea and coffee accessories/ supplies, candles, hats, and a side for antiques and other cute art. The building may look slightly like a haunted house, but don't be discouraged. It's a hidden gem. The staff are also funny and sweet to chat with. Lastly, there's always a cute car in front of this building to take a cute picture near. Highly recommend.

Great coffee and tea from around the world, from knowledgeable, kind, progressive staff who treated myself and my gay son with kindness, cleanliness, and expertise. We had a great time there, and the wood carvings and decorations only make it more memorable. Safe, fun, and GREAT coffee.

Her Indian Monsoon Malabar is some of the best coffee I've had. JBM is always expensive, but hard to find. But you can get it here. Same with Kona.I'm not a huge fan of Kona on its own, but she's got great blends that include it and the JBM.Some of the dark roasts here are a little darker than I like, but I'm more a medium or light roast guy. You won't find light here, but that middle ground is gold. I'll definitely be back for more since I've moved closer! Worth an hour's trip for sure.ETA: I bought some of their coffee rub and smoked the best pork butts ever. If you use such things, and don't want to make your own from scratch this stuff is amazing.

First the downsideThis business doesn't want to give to the person that gets into this business the best experience around the coffee, and shows the love of this second generation of coffee roasters for the coffee and its process. To me is more the love to the money made through this business more than the love for the product that they sell. Some facts to conclude this are- Nobody is guideing you through the business or explaining you about the coffee that they sell.- Something as simple as, they sell a lot of type of exquisite coffee but all of them are in sealed plastic bags and you cannot even smell this to decide what to purchase base on how they smell.- They don't brewed coffee which also will help to increase the experience.- Apart of some generic coffee candies, they don't sell anything but coffee, I was expecting more products made with coffee.- There is no any educational material or activities about coffee. They have a big sign at the entrance that says Roster Coffee, however if they just roast coffee, the prices should be a kind of lower in my opinion, for just a roster business that sales bulk coffee and doesn't give more coffee experience to the customers, it should be cheaper. They have a lot of potential if they just read the comments and improve the experience to the customer, this business will be unique in a lot of miles around. Now the upside.-To me, the coffee had a good flavor, brewed and smelled at home of course (since I couldn't had the experience in the business).- They have a lot of varieties of coffee which makes this a kind overwhelming (in the positive way).- The different type of size that you have for purchase.- The tea section is also amazing.- They ship coffee through the mail.

I love coffee, but sometimes it doesn't love me back. The first time I stopped in, I asked if they had a smooth blend. I was given A Blend with No Name, and just as I asked about, it was not as acidic as some coffees. Highly recommend it.The flavor variety is also rather large, so I had to grab some appealing sounding ones.

Been getting my beans from Morghan and Willie for over 10 years now! They’ve never seized to disappoint.I turn so many friends and co-workers on to good quality coffee through them. I’ve become the ā€œcoffee guyā€ at work because of their fine products!I highly recommend this shop and their products! They’re honest priced, creative, and inviting.I highly suggest trying their single origin beans such as Bali or India French roasts or their ā€œMy Finest Blendā€ for those who like a good medium roast with full flavor.I’m no professional barista, but I think you can tell the quality of their coffee through these.

We recently started going to Morghan Rake because of a sudden and overwhelming urge to drink fancy loose tea out of a fancy pot. We've tried six or seven teas from them in the past month and they've all been a delight. We're always greeted warmly, really it's all super wholesome and laid back. I wish I could live there haha, it smells amazing and I'd never need to sleep again because I'd be caffeinated into Oblivion šŸ˜‚ thank you!

There is an amazing selection of flavored coffee beans in regular and decaf. The chocolate covered espresso beans are my guilty pleasure. The big old house is so cool. I could order online, but enjoy going in person. If you don't like the smell of coffee, it's not a place for you.

I love the smell upon entering this place. She has a bevy of coffee, and tea flavors available some of which are seasonal. Morgan carries locally produced honeys as well, and her antique shop in the room next to her coffee shop is fun to browse. You may peruse yourself into a delicious coffee, or tea, and take home an antique.I highly suggest her elderberry teas when they come into season. This tea alone keeps me coming back!

I absolutely love flavored coffee and Morghan Rake has such a wide selection of delicious flavors to try. I love that you can buy sample size packages of any of the flavors. All of the flavors are always so fresh and flavorful. I’ve also started to get into tea because there’s such a huge assortment there as well that I can’t help but buy them all to try.

Hands down the BEST coffee you will find on the mountain! Actually, we haven’t had any coffee anywhere that matches up to what Morgan’s coffee is! Her fun laid back personality and way of conversing with people makes you feel right at home and she’s willing to help you find exactly what you’re craving each and every visit. We never buy our coffee from anywhere else and are so lucky to have her close to home! And to top it all off, they have the cutest antique shop attached!

We were visiting from out of state and stopped in as we were staying nearby. It smelled heavenly, coffee is very reasonably priced as well as the antiques next door. They even sell sample sized ground coffee so you can try their different flavors. Everyone was very friendly. Delicious coffee sold in a beautiful building. I highly recommend visiting!

Always make this coffee shop a priority on our places to visit when in the Poconos. Big variety of coffees and tea. The only way this place could be better is to serve coffee in a cup. Maybe after the pandemic? Prices are reasonable and service was great. Love this little coffee gem!
