I agree with all the other reviews, I’ve always thought this was a great place to shop with friendly employees. However the last couple times I’ve been in there, I’ve been bombarded and harassed by renewel by Anderson sales reps. I go in there for simple house hold needs, not to invest in $20,000 in widows. Get it together true value, I’m sure your getting a cut if they sell some windows, or for using your space. But your gonna lose customers with this kind of harassment.

A really nice place. People are very helpful. The only reason it didn't get a five, is because it's so small. They didn't have as much as a normal hardware store. I do give them something of a pass here because of the location. Not a populated area.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful. However, there are two problems I have with this store. The Renewal by Andersen people are totally annoying. And even more concerning, they are a total ripoff when filling propane tanks. We had a 40 pound tank filled by Appalachian to run a gas wall heater. It lasted less than 24 hours. We had the same bottle refilled at Duncannon Supply. Not only was it cheaper, but it lasted much much longer and was noticeably heavier after it was filled, compared to the fill by Appalachian. Furthermore, we were told that Appalachian is charging an extra $5 for propane when the new president took office. I won't stop shopping there, but will never go to them for propane.

Went in on busy Saturday , I wish I could remember the young lady"s name. I wanted to get some stain for my deck. I did not like the green that was available so asked if they could make it a different green. She patiently waited for me to pick a green from available paint samples (even though I wasn't buying paint) , she just needed a point of reference. I was convinced that it would not be possible. That girl spent an enormous amount of time trying to find a way to pull off this picky customers wishes. She found a way ! I now have the most gorgeous green porch! LOVE this store!!!!!

Small town hardware store where they have most everything. You can bring your dogs in for a visit too. Very very helpful staff. I would rather go here than hime-depot.
