Horrible customer experience!!! Please be careful when renting anything from this place. I rented a ladder on 3/09 for 4 hours and returned it promptly the same day within the time slot. Guess what? On 3/22, I was charged $438 on my credit card for the ladder not being returned. I went to the store the same day and found that they had closed a different person's contract instead of mine. Long story short, I had to make three additional trips to the center and discuss multiple times with the team and managers to get my refund back. I understand that mistakes happen sometimes; however, I was not expecting this level of carelessness and horrible customer experience from the team in sorting out the issue. Moreover, there were no apologies whatsoever; the whole episode felt like there was an issue from my side and they were trying to help me.

Great place for general construction and home repair. Their supply of higher end things for kitchen and bathroom remodel are not near as good as Lowe's. The garden area is however superior. They have a very nice tool selection and the lumber area is well stocked. I still use them all of the time because they are conveniently located.

I came to return mower battery and buy brand new riding mower . Gillian is so sweet and helpful . She is so calm and patience though I’m judging between my old and new phone numbers to locate my old receipt . Home Depot’s at Downingtown are getting high customer satisfaction because of such wonderful and sweet persons like Gillian . Good job Gillian

The staff was so nice and helpful! I came in to build a swing and the worker Jen helped me with everything, including cutting wood, which was such a blessing! She was so sweet and happy to help, it really made my night.

This location plain suck. I've met one nice and knowledgeable employee in Electrical. Beyond that, nobody to be found anywhere. Smaller selection than Lowes. Sometimes slightly cheaper but that doesn't offset a limited selection.

Someone needs to teach Craig at the contractors loading area to pay attention and look around to help others load. I'm 72 years old, and loaded 20+ studs and multiple 1/2 plywood myself while Craig B.S.'d with a contractor the entire time. Never offered to help. An alert employee wouldn't have to be asked. Poor customer service, thus two stars

Home Depot is a place where "Do it yourselves go for their materials". It's a huge building stocked with brand name merchandise. Each department has an expert to provide recommendations on a project. It's one of those type of places where anyone is welcome, regardless of creed, color, or religion. A very American kind of place.

When I need to go to Depot this is the one I head to first despite Parkesburg being closer to me. It's organized way better than the other stores around here and they always seem to have everything in its given department (I've gone to Parkesburg to fix an emergency plumbing problem more than once and found basics like 12/" CPVC couplings and Tees to not even have a spot on the shelf.) The only department I've found that could use improvement is the hand tool department.

I never leave reviews. This is the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. Everytime you go here it gets worse. Customer service desk is awful. They talk to you like you’re an idiot. Go anywhere but here.

I have been coming to this Home Depot for last one year. I have always found what I needed and the expert help I needed from the associates. Recently, I had a very good experience with Naseer when he was helping with the curbside pick up order. He brought plastic liners so that the material does not make my car dirty. Great place and staff to shop with.

They normally have what we need in stock but only issue we have with this store is finding someone who knows what they are talking about or can’t help with picking out what we need to buy to fix what is broke in our house so we still have broken shower knobs and pipe because no one is experienced in the departments they are working in and have no clue what to recommend for us to buy to fix our broken things in our house ! Also I have been trying to buy kitchen appliances now for 6 months but each time I go the person working doesn’t know how to get the price down to what it is suppose to be and want to charge me way more than what is being advertised and because of that I’ve missed out on very low prices and the one guy who can help with pricing is only there till 4 and couple days a week so I’m not able to connect with him and now missed 2 sales on complete kitchen suites ,so If they train the associates in department they work in or really hire experts they would definitely get 5 stars from me

We have had such terrible experiences purchasing appliances from Home Depot. They have pushed back delivery times several weeks, missed delivery dates without providing any notice to us, found countless excuses not to install the appliance when it finally did arrive, and once tried to deliver an appliance they had already delivered instead of sending an installation team. I recommend looking elsewhere if you need to buy a large appliance.

It goes without saying that retail is much different today than it was 15 years ago. That being said, I thought it was only fair to give a three star review because the expectation (which is not the employees fault) is much lower than it used to be Staff, for the most part are friendly when you approach them for help. The main issue, however, is how much staff is there to help. That, however, seems to be an issue across the board.

Mike at the return department was great, I’ve previously purchased 3 privacy trees at this location back in April, one didn’t survive, knowing it comes with a one year guarantee, so I came in the store and asked about how the return works with these trees, Mike took care of it, fast and great customer service !

I have had many visits to this Home Depot over the past Month. On 5/9/23 I had associate that I had asked about a grass seeding issue, actually got the Scott's rep on phone (talk about above and beyond).A week later, I could not find a product and since associate was not sure if Asile 50 or 51, he stopped what he was doing (taking some stuff to Garden Center) and walked me right to the item. Then today (6/7/23) , I was there twice and woman at self checkout extremely helpful when item would not scan, and prior to that associate asked if I had question on a product and was very helpful.Lastly, I stopped in late afternoon to get a replacement blind bought there10 years ago for my sister's house.He did a through search and got me options to get back to my sisiter as that product not available.The best part was his sense of humor!I frequent Frazer and West Sadsbury HD, but this one has been the BEST!

Make sure you check your prices online before you buy anything at Home Depot. Brought up the issue to the manager and the manager told me I could get the batteries for the price online and I assumed they were going to go change the price on the rack and on the computer. They never did. Pretty shady stuff.

called this store on Saturday July 8th at 11am to ask about truck rental and the person who answered was extremely rude and told me "I can't help out right now I have 15 customers" not the first time ive had similar experiences. my suggestion is to avoid this home depot the customer service is horrible. go to lowes.

What can I say about Home Depot. If they don’t have it….it doesn’t exist, lol. I’ve never had an issue I couldn’t solve with a visit to my local Home Depot. And I will add, I have a lot of extremely weird projects that I get involved with just to keep busy. Take my word for it…….If you need it, Home Depot has it.

We like to shop in Home Depot, Downingtown PA. We bought kitchen Backspalsh. We were not able to find exact amount of tiles. We asked Bruce who worked there to help us. He helped us to find the tiles. He is very nice man.

I love a store that openly hires Veteran's and Seniors, so Home Depot has my loyalty. These folks are knowledgeable and valued, and there's rarely a question that I can't get answered or researched by them. Tremendous variety and a haven for do it yourself home owners...indoors and outdoors. I love their website too, where there's more than what can be stored at their stores. If you have a credit card, you'll get periodic coupons.
