Unbelievable. I called in a refill days ago. It was supposed to be ready today. When i went to pick it up i was told that “systems were down”. I asked if that were the case at all rite aids and met with an attitude from the actual pharmacist “systems have been down since yesterday”. I called my script in on Sunday. Yesterday was Wednesday. They said they don’t know when I’ll be able to pick it up. I asked why i wasn’t informed. No answer. What if this had been a person that was on a medication for a life threatening condition? Im not the only one that didn’t get their meds today. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years. Im transferring to CVS. But i can’t even transfer them today because THEY WONT ANSWER THE PHONE for the other pharmacy!!! Absolutely unreal.

Nobody was waiting in the pharmacy. I had asked for a prescription to be refilled several days ago. It wasn't ready. I was told to wait an hour. I'm transferring everything to a new pharmacy. This is not the first time this has happened. I'm done with rite aid

Pharmacy refused me service at that time and had to come back because the pharmacist left before their scheduled lunch time. Pharmacy also changed their policy last time I came to pick up a script and they required an ID to pick it up but that wasn't the case before and I was never notified so I also had to leave and return later. Will be switching to another pharmacy yet again.

The staff here are really kind, but I have to say: the store is disgustingly dirty. Floors are dirty. I used the restroom 3 days ago, and it was GROSS. Thought it was a fluke. Came back today, and happened to need to use the restroom. it hasn’t been touched in that time. I know because there’s trash on the floor from 3 days ago. There’s also no way to exit the restroom without touching their absolutely disgusting door handles. Makes me question how clean their BOH is…maybe go to the rite aid in west Chester. It’s really clean there.

This pharmacy is criminally understaffed. Prescriptions are not filled in a timely manner (probably due to understaffing). If the automated system says your prescription will be "available the next business day," be prepared to wait a couple of days beyond that. (Make sure you call in your script when you have AT LEAST a weeks' worth of meds left, or you will be out of luck.) The phone is rarely answered, and when it is, the person who answers is rude and not helpful. Very often there are long lines at the prescription counter because there is only one person trying to run the drive-through window and the counter. Inshort, if you have ANY OTHER OPTION for a pharmacy, take it.

I had an interview and called back for a follow up. When i called the front of the store they hung up on me ! i called again and the women who picked up gave me nothing but attitude after i expressed that i was upset because i got hung up on asked when the store manager would be in and all i got was tomorrow!!! not even a time when i asked. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. They say they are all about helping their customers but thats all a lie and i can tell from first hand. I have never had to right a review in my life. Sitting here in tears ! and all i wanted was a job to help them out. Never will i ever shop here again!!! If i could give zero stars i would !!!

Just tried calling RiteAid for 30 minutes straight and got the same experience as many of the customers who reviewed this pharmacy. No one will pick up! I too have been going here for ten years and I’m ready to switch even though it’s within walking distance. I tried calling the 1-800 number the owner keeps posting in response to these bad reviews and guess what? Yep, can’t get through to anyone. Been waiting for twenty minutes and that’s when I decided to write this review. How can we discuss this further if we can’t talk to anyone?!

The phone was picked up by a girl, I asked if they had sterofoam coolers and then the girl put me on hold saying that she would find it. Well instead she put me on hold for 1 hour and hung up when the store closed for lunch at 12:00am. My dad and I were laughing hysterically, we were even playing a game to see when they would hang up.Here's a breakdown (easier to see)-I was put on hold-It was on hold until the store closed for lunch-A girl said she would find my a steyrofoam cooler.

Don't know what's going on with Rite Aid, maybe they're short staffed, maybe the individual was having a bad day, but I just had the most unprofessional phone call with a retail store I ever had. Whomever answered the phone in the Pharmacy was not polite, did not answer in a friendly or courteous way, was very short and when I said thank you all I got was CLICK! Having terrible phone etiquette is not going to win you over any customers, service with a smile no matter what is very important!

The Regional Director of this Rite Aid needs to take the reviews that have been posted in the past year much more seriously!Around May 16th, 2023, I finally made the decision to leave the Rite Aid on Wallace avenue in Downingtown after 11 years. The same issues in the pharmacy have continued and at this point I would have to say it's due to the pharmacist, who is also the manager of the pharmacy. I hate losing the convenience of the store, but have decided to go out of my way to another Rite Aid that has already been outstanding in answering the phone on the first ring, filling a prescription on the same day and has also refilled four prescriptions that are on the automatic refill cycle.I have used Rite Aid pharmacy on Wallace Ave in Downingtown for 11 years. There are two outstanding technicians, Debbie and Nadine, that have been there through thick and thin for a very long time! However, after Neha, the pharmacist, left I can no longer expect to get my meds on a timely basis nor has the courtesy refill been working and no one ever answers the phone. I understood why there were delays during Covid, but Someone needs to recognize that more help is needed in the pharmacy! I recently dealt with a new pharmacist, Nina, who seems to be on the ball but she is only one person. I am hoping I don't have to transfer to another Rite Aid :-( Please don't reply with an answer that says I should contact someone else because there's nothing that can be done until more employees are hired and I shouldn't have to tell that to anyone else!

I used to love this rite aid and frequented it daily. Then first they shut down their 24 hour pharmacy, the only left in the county. Over the past six months the stores customer service and especially customer service in the pharmacy has rapidly declined to the point where this loyal customer of decades decided to switch to a cvs also close by. Twice in a month I called the pharmacy with questions about my prescriptions, and they would refuse to answer the phone. It would ring and ring and repeat the main menu, just for you to hit 3 for pharmacy and repeat the frustrating process. I tried for eight hours, calling every 10 minutes and no one ever picked up. This happened AGAIN less then two weeks later. Both times I had to actually go to the store in order to get a simple answer I should have gotten over a quick phone call. Has also become more and more messy and always low on important products if not sold out totally. So dissapointed.

Just called in to check on a prescription for an inhaler. I've had trouble with this pharmacy before, and yet once again the pharmacist was very rude interruptive and just gave an overall poor experience. It's a shame that I feel the need to change my pharmacy since this location is right down the street from me, but I'd rather go somewhere further to get a better experience.

Must take a receipt. when you goes back for something return to store. they not give you full money back. and the manager say it’s store policy so then why they ask to customer you want receipt that’s the reason if customer say no and for some reason the customer came back for return so they cut half amount from full amount. they should tell to customer before ask. 👎. After take the item and then they sell again full price.

Absolutely terrible. Online it said I could bring my son as a walk in to get his flu shot, when I came in it was slow but the pharmacist working said that it was by appointment only and as I started walking away my mom was off in the corner and heard the pharmacist say that he was too busy and didn't feel like doing it. I ended up making an appointment for later that same day and after I checked in I waited for about 20 mins they rudely told me that my son was too young to get his flu shot there and I needed to take him tk the pediatrician. After I double checked online because it was such a bad vibe there it turns out they lied. Online it says 3 and up and I called another rite aid and they confirmed it was 3 and up. It was the same guy who spoke to me both times. Its flu season and I wanted to get my son vaccinated because he's prone to croup. I wasted a whole day and am so angry at how I was treated.

Just to be clear this is about the pharmacy. They get worse everytime we try to use them, they never answer the phones to start a refill process so you have to go in twice (refill and then pickup). Then when you actually go to pick up it is still not ready despite the fact it was supposed to be done 3 hours ago. That's if your physician can even get the script sent to them...Now to add onto this. After waiting for over an hour I was told it couldnt get filled today because they are waiting on the physician to call in. But they told me it would be done 4 HOURS AGO. Maybe because they never answer the phones...Further update, it's been 3 days....3 days and they still cant figure out how to fill our script. Our physician said there should not be a problem and it should get filled. Never coming back, save yourselves the frustration

Unbelievable. No sign that the pick up window is not where you pick up prescriptions. Standing there for 5 minuets and they tell me to get in the drop off prescription line. While checking me out at the pick up prescription line, they ask other people in just getting in lube if they are picking up prescriptions and help them At the pick up prescription line.. Would have been nice if they had done that for me. Or maybe you should have a sign that says don’t pick up your prescriptions in the pick up prescription line pick them up in the drop off prescription line. Terrible customer service. Wish I could give them a 0 stars.

The prescriptions are never on time, this time after waiting for 3 hours they say they don't have the medicine which ws to be given 2 hours ago. Lines are out the door again. Not enough workers which leads to mistakes. Manager needs to do a better job, right now you are failing drastically.

I have had 2. bad experiences on a Sunday. First, picking up a prescription. I got there about 10:15 and the staff were still had their coats on and were getting set up. I would think that if you are opening at 10 you would be there and ready to go at that time. Second tome, tried calling at 10:20 and called 3 times in the next 30 minutes and no answer. Finally went up and my regular monthly prescription still had to be refilled. And lastly. And twice now they had misfilled a prescription for my blood pressure medicine both times giving me way more pills then I needed.

There are some genuinely amazing and hard working people who are employed at this Pharmacy. We used to use this pharmacy as it was the closest to our house and continue to use it even after we moved as it is the only place that carries what i need.There have been times where we have easily been in and out and the staff has been friendly and kind. Recently we have been getting frustrated with the lack of respect and knowledge of certain staff members. We have waited over 1 hour for a coupon to be applied and have waited over 2 hours for a medication that we were told would only take 15 minutes (and we were the only people there)There was even an issue where i couldn't get a script filled because they had apparently given it to someone else and i had to talk with the manager because i had never come to pick up said script yet it had been filled and picked up on a day i wasn't even in town.Again, there are some amazing staff members there who absolutely make my day whenever i go in so it isn't all bad, the last few times have just been very frustrating. Especially because the last few times i have had to sit down and wait for an extended period of time after my coupons that i gave ahead of time were not applied.

Pharmacy took the time to help me with prescription questions and processed my order right away. Stood in line for a short time at checkout because I chose to not use the kiosk for self checkout. I find products to be a bit pricey.

This is one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever had to work with. I tried for over 30 minutes to call in and speak with someone when i had received a text saying to call them with a number listed. When It kept ringing and then kicking me back to voice prompt finally someone answered I could tell from the voices talking I’m the back ground the line was then hung up. This happened twice after spending several cycles going through the prompt and presumably ringing the pharmacy several times. Embarrassingly bad customer care and I will be moving to a cvs for all future prescriptions just so these clowns do not receive another dime from me.

I went to this store for a Doordash order shop and pick up. And I need help finding things and all the first guy said was that they didn’t have 2 things and the ice scream was in the fridge. The other guy I went to said the same about the ice cream and at time of check out I asked for help aswell and didn’t not get it. The workers were rude and not helpful.

Came here to get a prescription filled and they refused to fill it. Doctor's office is closed and I have the script in hand but since it is not in their computer they are refusing to fill it and have been very unprofessional about the issue. Pharmacists could care less if you got your meds or not.

I have been ask to provide an Id for candy purchase. Today aroun 4:34 pm. The same candy I purchased In the same stores many times. The last time was a few days ago. I refused to give her my ID. The cashier stated it was a new rules.I went to the next rite aid, Bought the same candy and nobody ask me about any form of ID. I checked with the store manager and he stated he never heard about th new rule.I’m asking to the District manager, the store 11144 manager, and the compliance manager, to make sure their cashier get the proper training.A cashier asking an ID for an over the counter (non alcohol) purchase is just a total nonsense and unacceptable.

Update, 10/14/2021:Make it zero stars, if possible.First off, the ladies who work there are hard-working, kind, and very, very patient. Why zero stars:They are overwhelmed. There is not enough staff, nor space. I have, on many occasions, dropped off scripts and deliberately came back the next day (or after) just to take the pressure off. After yet another failed attempt to get a script filled (and not even being allowed to drop it off), time to part ways. Disastrously badly run.It is always very, very slow in getting prescriptions filled. Chronically understaffed, very little rhyme or reason as to which staff member is attempting to complete a task, disorganised, and always in a state of "catching up". There needs to be more staff hired, and provided with adequate training (and support) to improve their workplace and performance.

Poor Service! I Came Tonight & Went Through The Drive Through To Pick Up My Prescription. Was Told It Wasnt Filled, After Being Called By You Guys Yesterday Saying It Was Ready, 2 People I Talked To Said "They Didnt See It" & Asked Me What It Was. I Told Them What The Prescription Was, They Looked Again & Said That It Hadnt Been Filled & That Refills For My Other Medication Were Available To Order & Not For The One That Was Requested & They Said I'd Have To Call My Doctor Tomorrow To Put The Request For The Refill In After I Was With My Doctor On FRIDAY, & Asked Him If He Could Put In The Request For The Refill & He Did Put The Request In. I Am Absolutely Getting Fed Up With This Location. Like Why Would You Even Call The Previous Day & Say The Prescription Is Ready & Filled & Then For Me To Come The Very Next Day To Pick It Up & Be Told It Isnt Ready Or Filled!! I Am Never One To Put Reviews Like This Out But I Am Upset That I Was LIED Too.

My medicine ran out and they took 3 days to refill it. And when I went to the drive through pharmacy I had to wait 15 minutes just to get my script. Unbelievable!
