From the first phone call to the final adoption day, he has been a true professional. He thoroughly answered my questions and shared resources with me. His dogs and puppies are treated with love and expert care; they’re part of his lovely family too.Our 8 week old teddy bear grand-puppy, is AMAZING! She’s everything my 17 year old daughter hoped for in a fur baby! She’s beautiful, calm, well-mannered, cuddly, and smart. She loves to play, enjoys napping in her crate (already), and she’s very eager to learn and trains quickly. The best experience I’ve had adopting a dog. We all know how intimidating, difficult, and traumatizing this process can be, but this breeder was nothing short of attentive and personable; a man of his word. Hard to come by honest and humble business folks nowadays, so I was pleasantly surprised. Also, my Felix was not kept outdoors in this cold, but rather in a very modern and open concept area with his family and other friends. He is healthy, friendly, energetic, and was happy which was important for me to observe. Melvin is who I encountered and he is excellent. I can’t recommend him enough. His calm and kind demeanor was all I could’ve asked for. Offered information I wouldn’t have known to inquire about even after having pups prior to Felix. I never had a Boston Terrier, so it was nice to learn about diet, temperament, and other nice tips that he organically shared. He is as genuine as they come! These pups are living a happy life and are safe which was one of my biggest concerns not knowing the breeder at first. I highly recommend PawTales to EVERYONE. What a smooth and joyful experience. Driving to PA from MD was a breeze even in this cold weather. Having someone accessible, understanding, and attentive who is not just doing this for the business was a delight. I could go on, but wanted to post this superb experience and share with anyone who is looking for a furbaby and is skeptical. This man and this business is beyond trustworthy and I feel very blessed to have this experience.

We got our little bundle of joy today. He’s so sweet and adorable Mr Lapp was very friendly and helpful very concerned about our sweet pup he gave us food and supplements until we settled him in. It was definitely a blessing to have found pawtale puppies. We had lost our little one recently and were looking for another just to love on. And we found paw tale puppies. A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of picking up our puppy, Farrah, from Melvin and his wonderful family. She is an amazing addition to the family! Healthy, happy, and she has so much personality. She is great around kids, other dogs, and just a joy to be around.The location we picked her up from was beautiful, clean, and you could tell how well the puppies were cared for. Melvin and his wife are both wonderful. Melvin took his time going over all of the paperwork associated with Farrah and gave us puppy food to help transition her to whatever food we chose to feed her. He made the whole process super simple and even held her for a few weeks for us to get down. He kept us appraised of her health and overall it was a wonderful experience! They are a lovely family and we are so happy to have Farrah.

So, I had this great experience to share with everyone. I am usually not a review person but couldn’t resist myself from giving him 5stars and a genuine review.Melvin is honestly a very kind and generous person . We bought a cute little 8 weeks puppy from him as we were planning to get one. A very well trained I must say. The price was very reasonable, moreover the puppy was so adorable.But unfortunately we couldn’t keep him more than 2 days since my husband started having some allergic reactions. And when I asked Melvin, he didn’t hesitate even once to take him back. A responsible breeder will always bring their puppy back and make sure they always have a loving home. I saw Quebec on Greenfield puppies site and he looked just like our baby who passed away in Sept of 2023. I call Melvin that night and asked if I could come out to see him the next day and he agreed. Very polite over the phone. The facility he has his dogs in is brand new. The puppies were clean but what impressed me the most was that Quebecs mother was groomed and looked very well taken care of. He opened the door to the area where the dogs were kept and all his dogs I could see looked well fed and groomed. When I went to finally get our little Quebec, his wife greeted us. Gave us the paperwork, gave us a bag of puppy food as well as a supplement. She was very polite. The paperwork for Quebec was well detailed with his shots and even his temperment. I recommend him if anyone is looking to purchase a dog.

Melvin and his wife Miriam were very nice to work with. We went to pick out our bichion in a Saturday, knowing we were leaving for vacation the next day. We gave a deposit and they agreed to keep him till we returned. We were very happy the way we were treated, the facility was very clean and we know all the dogs are very well taken care of.Our puppy’s name is Peanut, we decided to keep that name. He’s very well behaved and we tribute this to the way he was treated and taking care of when he was born. I got Zynder in July 2023. Working with Melvin Lapp was great. Melvin responded to my text immediately. We then spoke and Melvin was very informative, not only about the puppies but the parents. The farm was gorgeous, clean, neat, with healthy, happy dogs and puppies coming up to greet us. Melvin spent a lot of time discussing the puppies, what food to give them and as well as a supplement that is full of great nutrition. He had papers from the vet ready, as well as a 30 day guarantee. Could not be happier with my experience with Melvin Lapp. He was straight and to the point. He had all the necessary paperwork from the vet to prove the dogs were happy and healthy. He was more than fair with the price. His facility was clean and open. We were able to see the mom. He stayed in touch with us to make sure our pups transitioned well and that they continued to be happy and healthy. In June 2022, we purchased two female golden retriever puppies from Paw Tale in Lancaster county. Melvin Lapp was the breeder. The puppies (Honey & LuLu) were in good health. Fast forward one year later, both puppies are doing well. The two sisters love to run, dig, destroy stuff, and play with each other.So far, the crate training and over training has gone great.This is the first time we have raised this breed of dog. They need a lot of attention and they need something to keep them occupied.My wife loves to spoil these two fur babies. Chewy boxes with a lot of chew treats arrive monthly. And a lot of trips to TJ Max for dog toys.Theses two girls are beautiful, well behave, loving puppies.I highly recommend purchasing your next puppy from Melvin.
