How this one gets 3.9 stars I don't know. Over the years it has gotten steadily worse. I avoid this one as much as possible. Not uncommon for it to just close/open whenever. DG is a plague.

I love coming here every week! It's a wonderful experience and the employees are 100% of that reason. I come here for snacks and some groceries and the occasional toy or two! The stores lay out is very well organized and while the line can get backed up it's not their fault everyone is short staffed and they do an amazing job of being friendly and helpful! It's worth making the pit stop even just to get a nice experience of how awesome people can be!

Routinely out of common items. Always stacks of products in boxes sitting in the aisles.Open and close as they wish without posting anywhere but the door so you just find out as you arrive.As far as customer service; without fail they’re more worried about complaining/ gossiping in the office about other team members than ringing you out for items you can find.

5 pm, employees sitting inside with the door locked staring at people in the rain trying to get in. They advertise open until 10, but they are obviously not. No signs stating they are closed. The employee just sits in the store with the doors locked watching people try to get in. If you are going to close early, at least have the courtesy to put a sign up. Or at least go to the door and communicate instead of just standing there staring at people trying to get into the store while it rains.

Disastrously bad. Poorly managed. Last three times I went, they were closed for the day, "to deal with inventory". When they can bother to open, it's a disorganized mess. Avoid like the plague. Dollar tree if you can't even open up to serve customers, move out and let somebody else who will take the location..

Such a convenient store to stop in and grab a few things when trying to avoid a trip to the grocery store. The bonus is the prices! I can always count on saving $ especially if there’s time to really look around. Most of the people that work there are super friendly and helpful. Every once in a while, there’s a new person that isn’t so friendly; but they don’t seem to last there very long. I love shopping at the one close to my residence.. I would definitely recommend this store ..

I gave this store one star because not only that they have poor customer service, most everything is out of stock. And it’s not one or two items but it’s almost the whole store all the time. The bathroom is not properly stocked and sanitized. None of employees are wearing masks and they are not friendly. And today’s visit one employee had a friend that was just standing by the register just talking to the employee while customers there. It truly seems like these employees just get paid to stand around and do nothing besides cash you out.Higher Management really needs to take a look at this place because it’s out of control. I honestly wish I can give zero stars.

Love the gals who work here. They are always so pleasant and helpful.The one girl actually went out of her way and helps me get items to buy.I never was at any dollar general like this where they actually care about the customers.Love it!!! You gals are the best.

I like dollar general. This one has very small parking spaces.I was carded for tobacco products. So they must card everyone. That is WONDERFUL.I am Vaxx'd and did not wear a mask. I carry a mask just in case I would want it tho👊

I live on a budget so I truly enjoy saving money on canned goods (Name Brand ) over the local grocery. Cleaning supplies, if you take a moment to look and compare labels (not name brand) are also lower as well as National brands of Bathroom Tissue. I get some of my vitamins and personal care items here too because I love to save money. They even carry decorative items for the home which really came in handy when I moved here last spring. You can get just about anything you need to keep your household running if you have a quick need, but you can't always find the same products every time you go in, and perhaps that is why many people think of Dollar General as a large convenience store.I only gave them 4 stars because not all of the sales folks there are super helpful. However I attribute this to it being a first job and still in school on many of the workers. (young)Lots of off street parking, and a reasonably clean place. If you want to keep a little more money in your wallet each month, I recommend stopping.

Overall appearance of the store seems to be a complete disaster. Can't even see the products on the shelves for the mess of product and empty boxes in the aisles....not a got impression; and I've been there several times and it was constantly like this...

Attitudes! Went this morning learn how to communicate properly also WEAR A MASK! Employees are were walking around with out them cashier had hers up end down! Seriously!!! Didn’t feel safe ! Get yourselves together !

I just had them give me the wrong change and when I went in to ask for it back she said it was because they didnt have any tens in the drawer. They let me walk out and I almost left. I never leave bad reviews cause everyone has bad days. But you just tried to steal my money.

Always long lines. Always staff outside smoking or inside talking personal stuff and ignoring customers n their work (shelves are always empty with aisles full of new shipments). One clerk told me "if u want something just unpack it fr the delivery box" Place has gone downhill bad.

Almost every time I go in some miserable looking employee gives me attitude for kindly asking where something is or when I'm just trying to check out. The staff is overall unfriendly & the only 2 nice people that have waited on me I only saw one time & never again. They probably got smart and found a new place to work because the vibe in there is horrible. The floors are nasty, shelves are dusty & disorganized. I'd rather travle the extra 10 mins to go to the Dollar General in Wellsville because that place is 1,000 time better.

We shop from here a lot of the time but when we ask for assistance to find what we are looking for when you walk up to the person who is stocking the shelves listening to music on her phone I asked her where something was and all I got was an attitude from her then she proceeded to show me with an attitude I just don't feel like that is the way you are supposed to act in a professional work environmental situation and I sure hope that you don't expect this kind of behavior from most of your employees to treat loyal customer like this it's very unprofessional thank you very much for your time and consideration 🤔

It's convenient and reasonably priced. However the lack of masks on employees is infuriating. For future readers we are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and are sitting at about 6,000 cases per week in pennsylvania. This high number largely due to people and business that refuse the minor inconvenience of wearing a darn mask.If this business doesn't car enough to take a simple step to protect our health, I don't care enough to come back.Stop being self-centered ignorant dangers to public health!

LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT, Every single time you shop there. Shelf price and ad prices will show one price, while the register rings up another. The new "Literacy Donation", which rounds up any total you have to an even dollar amount has been added to my bill the last 4 out of 5 times I've shopped here without any notice and without being asked if I wanted to donate. Everytime I go back in and have to get my money back.

I love Dollar General's. Heck I even have the app! I'm not saying don't go here. By all means go here! Go to any Dollar General! But....The reasons I disliked this place:Disorganized. Rolltainers and Uboats everywhere. In almost every aisle. The store is small so it was hard to not run into people or rolltainers. Complete mess. Store looked as if it has zero employees, and if they do have employees....they're clearly not doing their jobs. It looked as if a Tornado came through it. Nothing was front faced. Nothing was shelfed properly. Honestly, reminded me of a thrift store. Where crap was just thrown onto a shelf and it's a free for all. This is no "one day mess", where they're just having a bad day. This is the work of "screw it, don't care" by employees for many many days.However, the cashier I seen was nice. Greeted. Willing to help while I was at check out. There was a guy, not sure if he was management or what. Though he was behind the counter. Didn't greet, in fact I said hello and he didn't reply.This store has great potential. If managed by the right person, shut down for a couple days to get reorganized and cleaned up, and had more friendly staff.

It's within walking distance for me. Some of the staples we buy are cheaper here than at Giant. Staff is friendly. I only wish you could buy fresh fruit, or produce.

This review is about the Aerospeed 20 inch circulator tilt fan Model Number AC100 which I purchased at this store in 2018.The fan is poorly designed and of cheap plastic and is dangerous to homes with children.I had the fan on a table top in front of the window of my third floor apartment for ventilation and a slight breeze blew the fan off with little effort.When the fan blew over the front blade guard popped off the fan blades hit the table and sheared off and took flight into the room.A child could be hit by the blades and be injured.Don't buy this shoddy plastic model !!!!

Convenient location for me but unfortunately it seems like their isles are usually blocked by cases of inventory waiting to be shelved...making it hard to navigate around them or getting to what you need.
