They don't have air conditioning in the store, which is really cruel. We got two chinchillas from them, one is fine, but the other is sickly and had matted fur. They kept him and other chinchillas in the middle of the floor near the birdcages, with bright lights and no shade. All plastic pieces in their cage, which cause blockages. The only good thing about the store is that they do carry quality products and ok prices. I can't get Oxbow anywhere else but online, except for Pets Plus. We just got a dog and they're the only ones carrying Chicken Soup brand food in the area. Don't want to give them my money though.Also had a girl worker shut the door in my face. I arrived 15 minutes before closing to grab hay, wasn't going to browse and she shut the door. I knocked and asked if I could come in, as the lights were on and people were still looking at puppies and she walked away. Not surprising because they seem to hire only high schoolers to work there. Totally rude.
