Out of all the Royal Farms I frequent locally, this one by far stands out as the worst. Staff seems inexperienced and immature. The conversations they have in front of customers literally blows my mind. When ordering food, prepare yourself to wait longer than you can imagine… customer satisfaction is not a priority here; staff talking amongst themselves is. I rarely write reviews, and if I do, they’re positive. But after maybe 5 negative consecutive visits, I found myself writing this review…as we’re going on 15 min for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich… while the store has one customer other than myself. I normally don’t bother writing reviews.Just move on to another place.Rude and cannot be bothered.Sums up workers. (One elderly gentlemen the (exception) on first visit did see him that was 6-7 months ago.Don’t bother with self help check out. That crashes but not before it takes your money and then the rude ones that can’t be bothered finally tell you “to come to “their” register.”Where they take your money again !!! So you pay twice for same meal which,by then is cold.The chicken is good but not at 2x price and the time it takes to get checked out.Getting the extra charged removed just indicates workers follow “manager” lead in rudeness. That experience was not worth trying to get money back .Still have not seen credit but not worth stepping back in this store third time to find out.Should have listen to family member that warned me against this place.He lives 5 minutes away.0ne star is to high.

First time visiting to check out the chicken which I had heard was the best fried chicken around. Not exaggerating at all!! The chicken was piping hot, crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned and cooked!! I highly recommend it if you love fried chicken. The only sides offered were mashed potatoes, (not very flavorful ), french fries or mac n cheese. It was a little pricier than I thought it should be, but soooo good!Not tons of other things, although there was a big beer refrigerator, several coffee choices. Gas outside was priced competitively. There were tables to eat inside and outside.Oh I will return....

I am a secret shopper, the store is generally clean any time I come in, smells nice in the vestibule, the overnight shift staff are very friendly, maybe even more than day shift. Everyone is pretty helpful, chicken seems to be freshest either during the morning shift or overnight. Only issue I have is the men's bathroom can be disgusting. They usually in stock for all their inventory. The floors and tables always look clean honestly. I have to say this store is definitely a better Royal Farms than most. Hope they keep it up!

The staff at Royal Farms are downright atrocious and exceptionally rude. Their demeanor is appalling. I witnessed one lady behind the desk, instead of assisting, retorted with, "What did you order? I'm not not a mind reader!" And don't get me started on that repulsive, overweight what’s his name Mike? in the green shirt – he's a complete scumbag. It's regrettable that I'm forced to dine here due to the abysmal food options at my college.

This Royal Farms is clean, efficient, and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. I personally eat here alot my fave thing on the menu are the waffle breakfast sandwiches. Super yummy.

My wife and I got royal farms today and our Mac and cheese was 40 hours expired according to the two different codes on the two different cups and our chicken tasted like fish, despite “no cross contamination” the manager said on our call to him. Hope we don’t get food poisoning from the 3 bites we took before we realized and threw it all out.

I had taken a year off from visiting this Royal Farms ever since the rock incident. When I returned I was immediately greeted by someone who called themselves “The Great Nutsack”. They were very creepy so I left. I will never return.

Just got 8 pieces of chicken. The flavor of the chicken is good but when they take a drumstick from a wing and call it a chicken leg I have to say something. This isn't what I paid for is it? Wow

Not very good. The gravy was horrible. I wouldn’t even call it gravy. Chicken was old and smelled like the oil was reused many times. Not much good to say about it. It was just gas station food. Pretty disappointed.

This store is a newbie to me...but if u know how to order @ Wawa it's easy. They specialize in chicken though & serve alcohol & slushies 21+. We don't have a RF in Berks and btw my food tasted that's fine with me. You guys in management need 2 add Amish macaroni salad to your menu because I took 1 bite of what you offer & threw it out. I think businesses that serve food should go undercover to taste what you sell. Just a thought....but I don't see myself scoping out RF when I'm in town again.

I have placed several orders to this store thru DSoorDash and multiple time the order was missing items even though I was charged for everything. Last order was placed on 9-26-23 for 5 chicken fingers which arrived and was hard as a rock and could not even be eaten

I was their this morning my breakfast was delicious,I never stop to eat breakfast here always Dunkin Donuts but this morning I had waffle & chicken the chicken was tender cook just right the waffle was perfect, I would never eat or thought about trying waffle & chicken but this place Royal Farms I gotta give it to u delicious delicious I will be back Thank u for a great breakfast, I wanted to take a pic but once I started eating the food was to good to stop all I have left is the empty package.

When R.F first opened here in Collegeville I was excited about it. The place was sparkling clean , the chicken looked hot,fresh,and delicious.The employees friendly. That has change very much since then. This place is continually dirty to the point that on my last visit I had washed my hands after paying at the self checkout. Here’s the crazy part, YOU DONT ReallyTOUCH ANYTHING at the self checkout!! All the registers were filthy looking as well as the lotto machine. I went to order chicken and they looked dry and stale . I decided to try the new chicken pot pie thinking it would look like the posted picture ,nope! I had to laugh to myself when I was given something that looked more like T.V prison slop complete with the server plopping it on the plate lol . Unfortunatly it’s not the same experience . Get it together .

Incredible. Placed a kiosk order for chicken that is ready, sitting in the warmer. The alarm indicating an order is pending good off. Five minutes pass with two employees at the front register who look at me waiting and stare at me blankly. Another five minutes pass as another customer placed an order and the two alarms are ringing in unison. Still, the two employees watch me, hands in pockets. Finally, the employee in the back comes out.Such initiative! Wow. Might drop this to a 1 if the chicken sucks, but it looks OK.

Mediocre in almost every aspect. I would stay away from their prepared foods, which taste sub-par, and their selection of packaged snacks is very limited. The employees have displayed their incompetence each time I have been here. I now avoid this place entirely. There's a Wawa nearby, which you should go to instead.

Good choice of food that Wawa doesn't have but sometimes they mess up your order at the collegeville location for example i got a breakfast sandwich and I put no egg and they still out the egg on there. Numerous times I've had my order done wrong. Other than that I can't complain about much.

Clean store, alcoholic beverages and gas. If I were Royal farms I would change my emphasis from fried Chicken to something else. If you're going to open a fried chicken joint right across the bridge from one of the best places in the area that's been around for 70 years you need to serve something better than dried out hours old chicken parts.

The food is okay. Generally I get BBQ Chicken Sliders and they come out decent. The more you order though, the more problems you will find.Manager/Whoever-was-in-charge referred to me as "that dude" verbally to a nearby employee (I am within earshot waiting for my order). No idea why but it came off as very unprofessional. Not to mention there were two employees talking nearby and freely cursing about *something*.I get it, Royal Farms, you don't need to hold your employees to high standards. But when there is a Wawa down the road with an infinitely better atmosphere and customer experience, guess where I am more likely to go.One positive, the store is clean.

Just awful, dried out chicken a biscuit that was closer to the consistency of a hockey puck. Worse coleslaw I think I have ever had. Only 2 people working there and one was more interested in hooking his airpods up to his phone then helping. They actually served chicken that looked like roadkill. I have heard so much about the "famous" chicken. Shake and bake is better.

Yet again, rofo disappoints. Every now and again I forget the last bad experience I had and stop in here. Cold mac n cheese after waiting 10 min for an employee to slap a spoon of it into a bowl with some chicken. Then I'm told that they don't have the gravy that I already paid for.Last time I order 3 pieces of chicken. Maybe 1 person in the store and I still waited ten minutes. How long does it take to pick up 3 pieces of chicken and drop them in a box for God sake? BTW, the chicken is nowhere near world famous quality. I can't wait until this place goes out of business and Wawa moves in. Shouldn't be long since the most cars I've seen is 6 during rush hour.

Very nice, clean store. Fresh made foods ordered via kiosk. Mimicks our famous Wawa stores. Much more limited menu than Wawa. Supposed to be famous for their fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. We tried both plus the fries and a salad. Food was meh. Chicken and sandwiches were nothing to brag about. Chick-fil-A and Popeyes sandwiches are far superior. KFC and Redner's fried chicken is much better! Food is a bit pricey for the mediocre quality. Wawa, you have nothing to worry about!!

Highly disappointed. Chicken had little meat. All bone and overcooked skin... every piece not just one. I will stay with Specks down the road, like I always have. Wawa biscuits are better as well. Bummer. Gave them a shot. Will not be going back for kiosk orders. The store is nice though. I will give them that.

I arrived at Royal Farms to get some gas when my stomach began to growl. I had always heard they had really good chicken so I figured I’d get some. As I entered the establishment I could not predict what would happen next. If I had to summarize the experience in one word, I would say…rocks. Details are far to horrific to explain. I recommend bringing a shield and a helmet next time you enter. If you don’t take my advice, you may never see the light of day again.

Our order has been messed up multiple times. Both on doordash and in person. One time I had to explain how the chicken count was off multiple times. There are plenty of other stores that get your order right. Avoid this one.

Very nice location and store - you can't miss it. It's small, but a clean place and well-lit at night.They have a bunch of gas pumps so it's never too busy.They also have sales going on of various items and foods so there's usually something on sale at a really good price.

Bought the chicken tenders and ended up throwing them away as they tasted fishy. Also don't like their self check out or gas pumps. Krispy cream is their only positive. Why have two people behind the self check out registers standing around doing nothing? WAWA is way better.

The staff left the alcohol door opened until 2:20 a.m. and when I had driven through the snow the night before Christmas Eve I was denied service due to the incompetence of the staff at this location, another Royal Farms I have been too when this happens excepts that they messed up and makes sure the customer service is prioritized. I failed to get that experience at this location as I was basically told its the customers fault that staff didn't properly lock up.

I absolutely love Royal Farms chicken and potatoes, but I was disappointed recently. I ordered a 10 piece chicken, and when I got home I realized I only had 6 and a half pieces. The half piece even looked like someone had taken a bite out of it.
