Having two to three employees standing around the self-checkouts doing nothing is absolutely senseless. Yes, they will offer to help if you are having difficulties, like an older gentleman was while I was there, but they are not willing to fully check you out at a normal register. They can take those self checkouts and go pound them.Also... the blaring loud advertisements that they play over the intercom is one thing but then having to listen to them again in Spanish is enough to put you over the edge. I'm willing to bet there's not one Hispanic person in this town, possibly the whole county. Besides, this is America, we speak English here....learn it or leave.I have spent a pile of money at this store in the past number of years but these two things alone are enough to make me avoid this store, and all Lowe's stores, like the plague now.

Absolutely terrible selection of lumber ,for this reason I started going to home depot.. do better throw the old wood out instead of putting it back in the racks! Awful !!

Shout out to Rachel at the Clearfield location! I don't typically "need" assistance for my shopping adventures but this one was special to me. Rachel, you dominated my experience at Lowe's and I personally wanted to Thank you! If the world had more "Rachel's" it would be a better place. 🌍

I live an hour away and bought a DeWalt 7 piece tool set, the drill locked and will not not release the bit. After calling to ensure they had some in stock I was told to bring the drill in with a receipt and it was an easy exchange I have very limited free time so I had to wait till the following week just to be told I couldn't exchange it with out the entire bundle driving to and back is a total of 2 hours plus an additional 2 hours and an entire tank of gas which is on average 60 dollars. I am loosing my limited free time to work on the project I'm working on and money. When I asked for the district managers number and waited 20 minutes to have a third manager get involved and was talked down to about why I couldn't exchange the product. I asked why I was being told this being this was already established and I asked for the district managers number. I was told they were not allowed to give that information out . This is unacceptable behavior between the attitude of 2 of the 3 managers that somehow got involved in this situation

I want to thank "Home Depot" for the GREAT deal I got on my DeWalt planer WITH tote. Couldn't pass it up. Especially when Lowes DIDN'T honor their, so called word they post out there in papers and on TV, that they are to do. Got these up at a price allot lower than Lowes AND WITH A MILITARY DISCOUNT TO BOOT!!!!!! Will start spending a lot more money at Home Depot from now on.Have had too many issues with Lowes lately trying to buy stuff. From being to to go somewhere else to get my lawnmower (State College #2355) to trying to get military discount or price match denied where Home Depot accepts.Good luck when everyone else WAKES UP!!!!

Customer service needs major improvement, I currently have a business account with Lowes and send multiple employees in on a weekly basis to make purchases via the Pro desk. This week I was informed that the location is not allowed to make sales to my employees and that whom ever did in the past was not following the rules. Our company has done this same routine for years in many Lowes around the US and this has never been an issue.

I went to get concrete mix, usually it's outside and you can just load it without double handling it by putting on a cart then on your truck. Got there 11/2 hrs before they close and it was already taken inside and was blocking the isle where I needed to get to. I had to load (14) 80# bags on a cart and push halfway across the store because of isle blocked. (That's 1,120#). I saw 3 guys just wandering around killing time and when I started loading they all disappeared. No one available to help load on truck either. So counting the unloading at home I got to lift these 3 times. I don't mind working a bit but I am 64 yrs old , with arthritis and carpel tunnel and I had a hard time with all that lifting. THANKS Lowes for your help. 🤣

I wanted to give Lowe's a negative star! Customer service is terrible. Store manager does not care about the customers. The products they sell they don't stand behind. They don't care we got the new GE all-in-one washer dryer. The delivery company is third party not Lowes. They did not know how to level it, the guy shook it says it's level. We start to wash clothes that evening it rocks all over. The feet of the machine aren't touching the floor. We called Lowe's. They want to send the same people back. That didn't know how to level it in the first place. Didn't speak but only a little English. Lowe's Don't Care about the customers

I will never go back to Lowes in Clearfield. I ordered a Washer and Dryer on 2/22/23 was told it would be delivered 3/1/23, even got a confirmation phone call stating they would be delivering on 3/1/23 between 10AM-2PM waited and finally at Noon we called and they stated it wasn't even on the truck and they had no idea what was going on. My boyfriend even changed his work schedule for this delivery. We were told we would receive a call with a solution but after 4 hours I called back in spoke with someone new who was actually trying to figure this out. Was told that we had to wait another week for a delivery. At no time were we offered a discount for all this trouble even when they admitted to dropping the ball. Several phone calls later we are now getting a refund and now going through Lowes in Altoona who we can get what we ordered tomorrow. After putting someone through all this confusion and admitting it was infact on you guys something should have been done for our trouble. Nothing was offered. We have always shopped at Lowes in Clearfield however we never will again!

Really, it isn't the same anymore. Watch for open boxes. Good luck getting help loading or unloading. No cashiers anymore all self checkout except 1 or 2. While 10 employees watch you, of course.

I just want to say thank you to the manager on behalf of myself and 7 other fedex freight drivers who ran out of time on Tuesday Nov 15, due to the accident on i80. When 1 of us called to see if we could park there for the night, considering we pull doubles and can't back into parking spots, he said yes and told him where to park. Again THANK YOU for your kindness from your new friends at FedEx Freight.

The pro department doesn't know where to look for their products. I needed a simple 125v female, replacement generator outlet. The Pro department helper took me to the generators and there were no outlets in that aisle. Only plugs, generators and extension plugs. The outlets were in aisle 6 with the other electrical supplies. The employees need better training and need to do cross-reference of products. I asked a regular customer if they knew where I could get what I needed.

Even with specialy hardware items being hard to find, Lowe's is doing a great job of keeping their shelves well stocked. Also, the prices seem better than the other big box competition. Also, the store and the restrooms are always clean!

Terrible communication between installation department and management. Signed contract stated dishwasher installation by Dec. 21st. It's now the 28th and Lowe's can't reach their subcontractor to even find out why the installation hasn't occurred yet. If you have another option, I would definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Lowes is normally well stocked and checkout is a quick and friendly experience. Other than plumbing and appliances, it's usually hard to find a staff member, if you need help with anything. The store, parking lot, and restrooms are clean and the customer service/returns staff are courteous and helpful. If it weren't so hard to find someone to help, this would've been a 5 star review.

Very disappointing experience this time. We ordered 2 items over 3 days ago online with a "deliver to local store for pick up" option. We received a confirmation email stating our items were ready for pick up the day after placing the order. We arrived in store tonight & they only had 1 of our items & couldn't find the other. Came to find out that it was a close-out sale item & that they ran out. We never received a phone call saying they didn't have the item (even though when we ordered it was "in stock" & "ready for pick up"). And it never stated that it was a close out item online either, just a sale. And of course it was sold out in every Lowes on the planet so we couldn't have one shipped in. The lady at customer service apologized, but she was unable to offer us any answers as to why we never received a call (which might have given us time to order from somewhere else) & was also unable to offer any discount or coupon or anything for our trouble. What if that had been the only item we ordered? Trip wasted. Probably should keep a closer eye on your inventory numbers. I guess just because it says "available" online, that isn't necessarily true...

They closed the door to the garden area 25 minutes early, forcing me to lug several cubic feet of mulch to the one checkout counter (all the self checkouts were closed), to a cashier who didn't know how to enter the last 4 digits of a gift card. They added a second cashier after 25 minutes of people waiting in line. This isn't even about having enough staff, but poor management.

Helpful employees pointed us in the right direction for the 2 items we went in to purchase. Lots of great plants and merchandise out in the garden center. Fast checkout service. Many items on clearance. It's good to walk through just to see what's available and what's on sale or clearanced.

Ordered a STACKABLE washer and dryer (including the cables and connectors) with delivery and installation. When the delivery/installation guys came, not everything was there (missing a stacking kit and dryer hose clamps). The salesman who sold me the washer and dryer knew I needed everything and had no existing washer/dryer to remove. I assumed that would be included somehow in the purchase since they are stackable units.When I called them back I was told most people set STACKABLE units side by side rather than stacking (despite stackable ones costing more), so they weren't included.Had to make a separate trip to get the missing pieces and try setting up installation. Was told a manager would get back to me at around 10 am the following day, which didn't happen. I called to follow up and was told I would hear back within a few minutes, again, this didn't happen. A very frustrating and 1 sided game of phone tag.

Usually a normal experience nothing to really write home about lol..this last time though we went to pick out floor for our contractor specifically told the gentleman in floor I needed to make sure we could get the material in state college lowes.the employee told us state college had 274 case ..our contractor called that next morning no materials had to order the flooring ..smh
