They selecting has been very poor lately, as well as the service. The staff is friendly, but the wait in line is always crazy, just to run in for 1 item shouldn't take 30 min.. they need to have more people working.. Lately I would rather spend more on an item at the grocery store, then wait in line for so long, the convince of only making one stop quickly is better then saving a few dollars.

Always a mess in the store and the prices do not save you money. It looks like it does but compare the prices to Walmart and you will find you are paying more. If you are looking for something and the shelf is empty they say it is on the truck and they don't even go in the stockroom to look. To top it off there wouldn't even be a truck there to unload. There are many times that I would be at the check out and there is nobody there. After several minutes then someone would finally come out. The store is generally always in disarray and hard to maneuver through due to having carts upon carts sitting in the isles loaded with stock instead of being on the shelves. Can't say all the stores are like this but the Claysburg store seems to be like this more often than not.

Every time I have gone in here the place is trashed. They are either understaffed or lazy. Stuff is piled up and at thrown on the floor. They used to keep it very clean and organized but now I dislike trying to find what you need in a messy toddlers play room.

This is the messiest Dollar general that i have ever been in and it is like this all the time. I live near the loysburg store bit o go to this on each month whem i take my sister to the dr near there every month. Bathrooms had no toliet paper, commode feel like its come up off the floor when you go to get off the toliet! Stuff is scattered every where in 95% of the store. Nothing is organized at all! And tbe staff was not polite or friendly. Topical claysburg atmosphere !!!!! Dont know why i even stop. Ask clerk a question about digital coupons and she said she didnt know anything about them. Looks as though they need more staff. Will just wait and go to my#store on loysburg.Pa

This is a super Dollar general. Large store with lots of merchandise. They have the biggest frozen food and fresh food section I've seen. They even have breaded cut okra. !!

It was nice to just walk in get what I needed the crew is pretty decent and understanding down there helped me with an emergency when my son had an accident and I needed to find clothes quick

There was way too many stacks of boxes in the aisles. One aisle was even lined with boxes from one end to the other. Cashiers very nice.

This one is alot nicer then the dollar general on 31st Altoona. It is also cleaner much cleaner. Plus they don't treat you like you would take something.

Store was dirty and disorganized. Staff was not very knowledgeable about what the store had. I saw several people ask 2 different employees if they had an item. They responded I don't know. Go look .

The Claysburg DG is a great place to pick up forgotten items or something in a pinch. Not all items are the cheapest but convienance makes up for it.

Always messy, always disorganized. It’s like walking through a land mine in order to find what you need. Constantly seeing workers smoke by the propane tanks. I only go into the store if it’s a dire emergency.

The store was very cluttered and had carts of merchandise in middle of isles. Also merchandise thrown everywhere. Was not impressed.
