There is always a wide selection of items at Rite Aid. I always find deals in the clearance section. Jeff, the pharmacist, is great! If I could give him a separate rating, it would be a ten. He's the most compassionate pharmacist that I have ever met. He is considerate, he listens, and he's customer focused and cares about everyone, and he's highly knowledgeable.The four out of five stars comes not from the service. It is because sometimes the store is short staffed, and sometimes the shelves are thinned out. The employees are always helpful and willing to assist. The management seems nice as well.There's a public restroom, handicap parking, a handicap accessible entrance, and a seated waiting area next to the pharmacy.You can get al sorts of vaccines there as well, but I would recommend signing up online a day ahead of time so it's easier for them to plan ahead.

I always use Rite Aid and have liked Rite Aid in the past but this particular pharmacy. Do not use their pharmacy at this Rite Aid on York rd their pharmacy people will rip you off the first chance they get I went and asked for my script was $25 I handed them a script card that could’ve made it a little cheaper and without them even telling me They removed a manufacturer $100 coupon and are telling me I have to pay $125 And then they can’t reapply the coupon, because of some AT&T issue that broke out, Like, if this is how the pharmacy is going to do business, no wonder Rite Aid everywhere Is going out of business Like I still haven’t gotten my script because I am not paying 125 when it was 25 like you people are holding me hostage over my medicine And It ain’t right. And now I have to wait till Wednesday to talk to their manager Fix this issue rite aid

So let's talk about the worst store in our community. Once a year we have a Halloween parade in our community. Once a year! The parade goes past their building. You would think this isn't a big deal. However, Rite Aid decides to not support our community, they post signs all over their parking lot to not park there during the parade. Now, I didn't park in the parking lot but my chairs was sitting in front of the parking lot and I had no idea there was signs up. But as I looked around at the people around several of them shopped at rite aid for drinks, snacks and even blankets. Without the parade they probably wouldn't have shopped there. I thought wow rite aide got some sales. Then about 30 minutes later I hear everyone complaining. There is township police giving our tickets. What?!?! They were having tickets given out. That is unbelievable to me. You have lost my business. If the parade hinders your busy so much close early. But giving out tickets to families does not support our community at all. Very disappointed.

Wow the lack of professional customer service in the pharmacy the two ladies did not seem friendly and they looked annoyed servicing a customer and the other lady counting money close to closing rolled her eyes at me for asking a question. Would not recommend this location, customer service is not professional. I also stop by the store as well at 5:55pm on Sunday and the store was all ready closed, as a professional customer service is key so customer’s have a good experience and come back. Your welcome rite aid for my thoughtful review.

Love that I have my prescription at this Rite Aid. I was going to another company's pharmacy for a little while, but there was confusion between their two locations and two prescriptions and I went into this Rite Aid once for something unrelated and loved the experience, so I switched it all over to this store. The store is clean, bright, HUGE, and I'm in an out of the pharmacy in a matter of minutes. I don't wait long when I call in my refill and if I ever need to call and speak with someone, they are extremely helpful and have gone as far as calling my dr once for clarification on timing of a refill. I highly recommend this location!

I've been a satisfied customer of this store and pharmacy for several years with no problems. However, the past few times I've submitted refills online and selected a pickup time within the next few days, the prescriptions were not ready. I totally understand the nature of doing business these days with increased workloads and staff shortages, but why even offer a pickup time selection if it can't be completed? In addition, the entire pharmacy closes daily from 1:30pm - 2pm for lunch. It used to just be the pharmacist. Today, I arrived a few minutes prior to that and was second in line. By the time the customer in front of me completed their transaction, it was 1:31pm and I was told to come back at 2pm.

Would give zero stars if I could.Prior to 2020, this store was doing alright as a pharmacy. Now, with the revolving door of staff, nobody seems to know what they're doing. We have had nothing but one problem after another with them; shortened hours of operations, miscommunications with the dr.'s offices, constantly backlogged (they couldn't fulfill a prescription after a day and a half after the dr. sent it in because they were too busy), and now, when fulfilling a script for an oral suspension, they gave us a bottle of powder! This sort of mistake could easily kill someone who didn't know the medicine was supposed to be in liquid form!

I absolutely love Riteaid on York Road in Carlisle PA. The store is always super clean without cluttered isles. The workers are always friendly and helpful. Jeff in the pharmacy is superb.

I am so disappointed in this site. The hours posted online and on the store stated the pharmacy is open from 9am to 9 pm. I visited the store at 5pm and was unable to be served due to the lengthy line. I decided to come back later within the posted hours. I have never had an issue before tonight but for whatever reason they decided to close their pharmacy at 8pm. There was no notice, no sign and no reason. This is both frustrating and dangerous for patience. I am planning to move to a different pharmacy as a result of this experience.

Their registers do not function properly and will not process your credit card which results in frustration and a complete waste of your time.I spent a while shopping ($75 worth of stuff). Got in line behind customer at register whose order payment was not going through. Despite social distance we can still hear what's going on. Her card was "not accepted." Cashier and manager fiddled with it, then manager voided her order, tried again...same problem, then after a while they were worried about her debit card getting locked out for too many attempts. the woman just paid cash.We finnaalllyyyy get to register. Hubby tries to buy cigarettes (wish he would quit! Lol) and the register will not accept the swipe of his driver's license. 50 something years old and can't buy cigs haha. Finally get to total AND same issue as customer before us. Register won't run our debit card. I know for a fact it works as we used it a short while earlier. After several attempts, we told them to forget it.We went to CVS which didn't have everything I wanted but at least their registers work.I did give them a 2 star instead of 1 because store was clean and well stocked.

As always I had to use the restroom. For the fourth time within two months that I have been there, there is no soap in the ladies room. I have mentioned it to the pharmacist each time. Today I asked the lady at the front cash register if they have a separate restroom for employees. They do not. I find this quite disturbing, as they have female pharmacists counting out pills. I don't recall seeing any with gloves on. I will not be returning.

Nothing but great service. These folks in the pharmacy have always watched over me. I have been blessed to have these great ppl looking after my meds and my health in general, they truly care and will go the xtra mile to work with you and your provider. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.The rest of the employees are also very friendly and professional as well. Joe.

Do not photo printer at this location. It is acient! Warning, you do NOT get enough envelopes with your photo cards☹️ I spent an hour printing my card and found out I needed to buy envelopes somewhere else. Very disappointed😐
