My sister and I went to get a couple goldfish for our tanks at home. The employee working assumed since we were younger we didn’t know how to properly take care of fish. She kept belittling us then continued to tell us we could not have the fish we asked for. Asking questions to make sure the fish go to a good home is reasonable, but denying us to get a fish and criticizing us based on our ages was a little too far. I don’t believe I’ll go to that location again after that.

The staff is friendly, they are always helpful, polite, and always give our dog a treat. Some of the prices seem higher, but there's always deals and lots of variety. They have dog grooming available. They offer dog training, there's a spare section of the store set up for that. It's a one stop shop for pet. They have car fur babies available to adopt all the time.

I do love this PetSmart! Clean, nice staff willing to help. I know it can seem a little expensive but I like getting the best for my pup and I love spoiling him! Plus I like that pets are always welcome!

Another wonderful grooming experience for Boy. He left enough fur on the floor at PetSmart Grooming Salon to make another dog. He is a very happy puppy and I am a very happy mom.

I’ve been taking my mini poodle to see Tori at Petsmart grooming regularly for over 2 years & my pup absolutely loves Tori. My dog always smells good & looks good, and she always has a little bounce when we leave the store. Today Tori groomed my pup exactly how I requested, & even painted my pups toe nails! If you have a loving little poodle I highly recommend Tori!

The Mechanicsburg PetSmart does not honor sale prices as tagged on store shelves. Tried to buy two flats of Whole Earth farms canned dog food marked at 97 cents per can but once taken to register the price was refused by the store manager saying the product was marked wrong even though the information on the sticker matched the said product. The Carlise store had the same and honored the sale price.

The staff manning the registers and the rest of the store so kind and thoughtful toward our anxious pup. Also, we have been taking her to the beginner training class with Ariel and so far, we have seen such an improvement in our dog. Ariel does an excellent job at making both owner and dog feel comfortable and successful! Our dog was rescued in May as an adult and has just come such a long way through this class. We can’t wait to do more!

I took my dog in for bath/brush/nail trim. I'd had her there before for just a nail trim, and there was no problem. This time, when I picked her up, she acted absolutely traumatized. When we got home, she was cowering in the back of the car, and it was a whole issue just getting her out. She was very skittish the whole rest of the day.

Got this beauty here about 2 weeks ago, along with everything he needed in his tank including crickets and worms. We loved everything except the glass doors on the tank. Their flimsy and makes us nervous that they'd easily break. Other then that, we absolutely love coming to this store and come here for most of our needs. (Snake, scorpion, turtles, and several fish, including a frog)

Ok for starters these dumb ho ho ho's In the fish section (which I bet they smell like) wouldn't let me buy a goldfish because I didn't have a turtle farm, so I got a little angry in the parking lot and yelled save the turtles at her and she proceeded to flip me the bird, and so as I rolled out of their mediocre parking lot I gave her a double flipping bird. And that's all I have to say about my experiences at PetSmart

This petsmart was clean and well organized, and the staff we talked to with questions was very friendly and helped (wish I would have caught her name). Like everything now, the prices have gone up, but nothing more than expected. Used their grooming services for our stubborn beagle, and they said he was an angle and a pleasure to groom (I appreciate the lie ;), because he doesn't act like that at home). Will be back.

Took my 2 goldens and my corgi who just turned 1 in for a shampoo and a little bit of a hygiene clip and a nail clip.. they do a great job with my pups and the price is reasonable! Saves me money mess and time ❤️ happy birthday prince Woodrow 🎂🎈

Normally they do a great job, and we bought a value pack with multiple visits, but this last grooming session, they shaved my dog, an Australian shepherd after I had been explicitly clear that I was trying to grow out her coast (as she is a double coat dog) for over 7 months after her coat had been ruined.They also shaved her armpits.... down to the SKIN... in the middle of winter.

Everything is so easy to find and if you look lost there’s always someone to help you and direct you. They have a huge selection and many services: Grooming, training and adoption are a few of them. Pet friendly of course too!

Like all PetSmart stores right now, they are not getting in all the supplies they use to have. The store is still well lit, clean, and the employees are nice and helpful. I love to stop in at this PetSmart when I'm heading north (love me some Wegman's time when I can spare it!). It's right off I-81 and sometimes I have foster babies there ready for adoption! When stuff at PetSmart is on sale or clearance...you can leave there with $300 worth of stuff for $200, sometimes less. Their prices aren't bad but the best thing about them, I think, is the fact that they price match. I think the most I've saved was on Blue Wilderness dry cat food, Salmon. Walmart was having a sale or clearance on some of the big (what is that, 11 lbs?) bags, price was $11, PetSmart matched that! It is also very important to me that they work with rescues and shelters instead of selling cats and kittens. One of my recent foster babies from Better Days Animal League, Conner, who was adopted out from this PetSmart!

Worst grooming experience ever had. I was there a week ago with my two pets.the groomer name was Victoria and she give the worst painful experience to my dogs one can ever imagine. She pull off the skin of my dogs with shaving till the point they bleed..that’s not what you expect from a professional groomer..she has no idea what she is doing.the moment my dogs are back from grooming they were not themselves then I checked them they were bleeding..can’t even walk or sit properly,they were in so much pain because of unprofessional or not experienced people petsmart hired.she should not be allowed to touch any pet because these poor pets can’t speak for themselves and had to go through so much pain.I agree accidental can happen if that would have been case with only one dog,but both of my pets skin were peeled off that can’t be accidental.It’s shows either you don’t know what u are doing or you were too careless and harsh to treat my pets because they can’t complain for themselves.She was not even willing to do her job properly.I asked her to trim of facial hair which were going in their mouth,but she was so reluctant that she don’t want to do it,may be because she didn’t know how to do it..I groomed my dogs many times at home I never harmed them in any way.when I’m being a non professional can do grooming without harming then I don’t expect this kinda service from also called professional.she didn’t even brush their teeth for even 30 seconds.just touch the tooth brush in the mouth that’s it..no brushing at all...In conclusion....Not Recommended at all...the worst grooming place I have ever been.please save your dogs from the painful experience my babies had gone through please 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏...PETSMART BIG NOOOOO NOT EXPECTED SUCH WORST SERVICE FROM YOU.

I stopped by Pet Smart in Carlisle at 9 am this morning to pick up some cleaning supplies for pet odors. 1 of the friendly young ladies on staff took the time to help me in choosing the best cleaner available for stubborn pet odors. I took the product home and it has worked better than I expected!

I got my puppy a grooming here and his ears were not done. He now continuously scratches them due to irritation. Tractor Supplh told me it should’ve come with my grooming so I called and they advised me to come back.. I live in Shippensburg and was able to get there the day of his appointment. Very inconvenient it should’ve been done during his service.

I want to preface this with saying it’s not the staffs fault, it’s the companies fault for not staffing their shops adequately enough to not be abusing their animals for sale. there is no reason for 75% of their betta fish to be in cans, on a wall, and dying visibly via disease and neglect. the fish tanks are disgusting, covered in algae growth, constantly filthy and over filled, un cared for, etc. fish are animals too. it seems that dogs and cats and birds and lizards and even the crickets get priority over the poor fish.

Bought 100 crickets and over half were dead by the time my husband got home. Had to quickly get them switched into different containers because the dead crickets releases toxins that will kill all of them if you don't separate them. Not happy and we will never buy them there again. We usually buy online from Kansas and never once had any issues with them dying.

Update. Staff was very helpful with finding a special food for my cat. Fast to check out. Plenty of animals to see.Staff was friendly. When you walk into the store they said hello and acknowledge me. Lots of wet cat food on the shelves.
