I have been with this pharmacy for approximately 2 months every expierence I have had was attitude and at least 25 minutes on hold. I have worked at a dependent pharmacy for 6 years and I am only at a chain because of insurance but I would never choose a chain and or I’d leave this pharmacy is it was financially smart. This pharmacy in particular is extremely slow and the technicians are ignorant in the process of filling medications, transferring medications and basic customer service.

If I could give 0 starts I would. This is the worst pharmacy ever. They do not answer the phones, when they do they quickly put you on hold and dont allow you to speak, or they simply just hang up on you. They have an attitude even when they are putting you on hold. I had to call the doctor and ask them to cancel a prescription refill so it could be sent somewhere else. If you have to go to Rite Aide, then go to another location as these are the worst human beings ever. Do not trust them with your medicines.

This is the worse pharmacy I have ever been to and hate the fact that my insurance make me use them. Slow and can't do their job state that they are working on a prescription the 3 days later still not filled. People need their medication and you take your sweet slow time doing it. Stop lying to customers and do your job correctly. Do follow up with doctor then 2 weeks later still no prescription. You need to hire someone that can follow up with things. The is the worse pharmacy ever.

The people here most of the time are incredibly rude.... The one girl who wasn't rude a black haired girl with a nose ring... Who paid for my prescription I needed for my heart with her own money while the other people who worked their just looked at me like oh well looks like you're going to die... Apparently that girl doesn't work there anymore... Good choice 👏.. they never have my prescription I always have to wait a few days even though I need this to not die... Worst ever .. don't go here... And I heard the other rite aid in this town is just as bad... Apparently they don't think they can get sued for this .. I think someone's going to have to prove them wrong...Ps. The prescriptions I get are usually prescribed for cancer patients... And they probably don't even realize this and they are pharmacists... When I talked to the pharmacist here it's like they have no idea about anything like they never went to school... Someones gonna die because of these people and they obviously don't care ..cue the automated non caring response ...

Very poor and unprofessional prescription service where they have repeatedly messed up and misfilled prescriptions all while taking upwards to half an hour to retrieve a prescription that was already been paid for ahead of time. The Pharmacy workers have very condescending tones and act like they are better than you.

This is the worst pharmacy ever!! My wife was discharged on Sunday and her prescription was called in before noon, they did not even attempt to fill it. This was for antibiotics that she needs to fight an infection. If she gets the infection again and has to be rehospitalized im hiring an attorney and suing them, this is not the first issue we've had with them. Wish i could give them a 0.

I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. They never answer their phone. And guaranteed.your waiting in the drive thru for awhile. My family and I switched to giant eagle in mcmurray and like it much better.

Unfortunately I have had enough of dealing with this Rite Aid. I've been going here for years but they have got to he the slowest at filling prescriptions. Every time we have something called in, it will literally take the entire day to get it filled. I tried calling all day today and nobody, and I mean nobody answered the phone. I wanted to know how much longer it would take for my antibiotics from a surgery I had early in the morning and she said oh they're sitting here waiting for the pharmacist. Seriously 9 hours and you can't fill a bottle of pills?? I'm done with them... stay away unless you enjoy waiting an eternity.

The pharmacy at this Rite Aid location is unacceptable. My recent prescription took over ONE WEEK to fill, and it was only completed after my doctor’s office called to rush them. I no longer feel comfortable filling my scripts here because of this. Waiting several days in cases like mine (and many others) is just not safe for patients. I am on a medication that can cause serious side effects if your dose is missed by as little as a few hours. I was also recently prescribed antibiotics that needed to be started ASAP, per my doctor. The pharmacy is impossible to reach by phone, and they are very rude and disrespectful to customers in person.I have since switched to Walgreens and am very happy with the prompt, friendly service!

I realize it's not easy to deal with people who are sick and or suffering but I was just there recently and had a horrible experience. I was told they were out of a certain medicine and the lady just walked away from me after telling me. She didn't try and tell me what other store had it in stock because she just couldn't be bothered to be a decent human being. She just coldly walked away with a glee in her eye because now she didn't have to help me. My biggest problem is that the pharmacist was right next to this woman who treated me this way and didn't say a word either. Instead of helping our community, this place is all too eager to send us away with zero help....total disgrace. Not easy speaking up about this because these are the people who handle my medicine and I can just imagine what fate I will ultimately suffer for speaking out about the horrible service this place gives.

My prescription was sent yesterday and I still haven't heard anything about it. I tried calling multiple times today and they keep hanging up. This is terrible. Once I get it I will definitely be looking for another pharmacy very unprofessional. This happens all the time. Even when they notify you it's ready you go down and it's still not ready you have to wait.

Most disrespectful crew I’ve ever met. I was treated poorly by the women up front, her disrespectful behavior was mind blowing. Let her know I was in pain and needed the medication as soon as they could help she told me she will call me when it’s ready. I had already waited 3 hours. While I sat I watched the other women working being rude to the older folks as well. Saving grace was the nice younger male Pharmacist that turned and rushed my order for me. Hire more staff for these women please. I won’t ever return to this location again. The wait times have decreased over the last few years because they don’t have enough staff. No need to treat YOUR customers so poorly!!!!!

If I could give Zero stars I would. Incompetent. There is only 1 pharmacist who knows what is going on and she wasn't there today. Our doctor sent over a prescription yesterday. The counter at they pharmacy told me it was there but they had to find it. After waiting a half an hour they said they didn't have it. Well, which is it? They don't know if the Rx is there or not?In addition, I was going to purchase some supplements for replenishing electrolytes. There were 3 boxes on the shelf and they were all expired. That's it. I'm done with this place.

The pharmacy is unorganized. After the fiasco we have dealt with in the past 2 days we are switching. They notify you that you prescription is ready, but when you get there they had insurance issues yet once you get it straightened out you got to wait another 5 to 6 hrs for them to fill it again???? What? Makes no sense at all. 2 days without important medication due to their inability to get things done! Dealt with them 2 years too long...Im DONE! Don't use if you value your time.

This can't be how a pharmacy is suppose to run. If you see a doctor and a script is called in, then you obviously you need the medication. They won't tell you when, or even if, it will be filled that day. They never fail to tell you how few people they have working. That's not my concern when I need a medication. But, call in a refill on the automated system and it can be ready six hours later at a specific time. Refills can be done before people have to go without their medication. A doctor's script for a new medication should take precedent over refills. And, "I'll put your name in a basket", what does that even mean? Called 4 hours after a script from doctor's office was called in and was told he would work on it now. Half an hour it will be ready. Gave him an hour. Went up and it wasn't. Same thing they always say "we're so sorry, we're just so busy". So? They were the ones who said half and hour! We'll expedite it now. Like you did an hour ago? The pharmacist is giving vaccines now. Oh, must get more money for them, and no one in the company considers that they need enough people to fill prescriptions and give vaccines? They have no sense of urgency at all! No regards for customers who are ill, just lie and do it whenever you want. This place needs shut down, then they won't have to worry about how busy they are.

You take lunch from 1:30-2 but today this pharmacy also took the phone for the drive-thru off the hook with 4 people working in the pharmacy. How about a sign in the window saying window closed? Make people wait outside with no explanation. Rite aid sucks, go ahead use the short staffed excuse for leaving people hanging.

I've been going here for a few yrs. As of the last 6 months they are the worst pharmacy. Not only are they inefficient, they are rude, never answer the phone, and when they do answer the phone they hangup on me everytime. I will be transferring my prescriptions to a location further but it will be worth not stressing over medication refills.

Unacceptable. Called the pharmacy for 4 hours straight and nobody would answer the phone. Called the next morning and someone finally answered only to tell me my son’s prescription isn’t ready yet. It was called in right after lunch yesterday and she says well it’s on our list to do. My son needs his medicine and you guys could care less. This totally blows my mind. They finally call and say it’s ready for pickup only to arrive and find out it’s not ready at all so we have to stand here for another 20 mins until it’s actually ready. This place is an absolute joke

Prescriptions are NEVER ready. 12 people in line tonight complaining to the staff - some waiting a week! The hospital submitted 5 pain pills electronically to this location. We then called to be sure they received it and asked if it will be ready by 5pm. FIVE PILLS. The response from the pharmacy was “we’ve been busy”. Waited AN HIUR FOR FIVE pills. Wow. Like that’s our fault you are understaffed? Lol cmon. The best way to kill a company is to draw customers to a severely flawed service. That would be you.Here’s the bottom line to the person (or bot) that constantly replies to complaints with the standard verbiage “we are sorry…contact us…” -here’s how it will truly play out, people (including us) WONT contact you or accept your insincere “apology”. They will go elsewhere, just like we will. You’re hemorrhaging customers rightfully so. The anonymous “responder” should start sending resumes out because Rite Aid is on a path to bankruptcy 😉

I have prescriptions filled on a regular every month, and I have to call this place EVERYTIME I have a prescription filled to make sure they have it. I went without 2 of my 3 prescribed insulins for 2 weeks because they said they needed my doctors approval, I got that and then it was my insurance approval….. I ended up in the er because my sugar was over 500 and they couldn’t get it down. I call and call and call and it’s a job in itself to get them to answer. When they do answer, they have an attitude most of the time. I normally go and pick it up, however sometimes I can’t go.

By far, it is the worst pharmacy I've been to, they are out of stock on any prescription and have to wait for a week. They are slow as truttle on drive thru. Pretty rude. I'll be switching them. Poor management.

I want to start off by saying they have a super friendly staff in the store! And it's always nice and clean. However one of the most important parts of this place I would not recommend right now. I've been trying to get prescriptions from here for almost 2 years now for my son and they take hours to fill it for us. When we finish our doctors appointment and are on our way home, it would be nice to use the drive thru on our way home so I don't have to get him in and out of his car seat so many times when he's sick and not feeling good.If you need your meds ASAP I wouldn't get them here until they aren't understaffed or get a better system to get them filled faster.

Apparently the issue regarding having your scripts filled is ongoing. Almost 5 hours later and they have prioritized flu vaccines over people getting their antibiotics for infection! How about hiring a NP to administer vaccines and let the pharmacist do their job!

Pharmacist basically told me I was a drug addict. They completely refused to hand me my antidepressant script that was ready cause they felt that I picked it up too early last month that I did not!!!!! Cause I can’t be with out it. Even if I did who cares my insurance said it was time for it to be filled. Pharmacist said to my face they don’t care and won’t fill my prescription again. Worst place on earth, that pharmacist should get her license removed.

So this is probably going to be the longest review I have ever left for any company. And it takes a lot to leave a negative review.I walked into the store today at 4:46(the pharmacy closes at 5) and went back to the pharmacist and handed over my daughter's prescription stating that my ex was in there a few hours earlier to pick up the scripts that the hospital was sending for our daughter to be released from the hospital. I explained that the hospital had trouble sending the scripts electronically so I had to bring the paper copies in. The woman kind of skoffed and said the Rite Aid down the street is open for another hour. I said I realize this but we already verified with you that you had the medication that she needed. She looked at her watch and said I'll do my best, but in a tone that definitely let me know that she wasn't happy. Now there were two prescriptions for a total of 38 pills. 38 pills with 13 minutes to go. I'm sorry that I inconvenienced her to do her job. My daughter could not be released from the hospital without these medications.Backstory my daughter was a pedestrian involved in a hit n run accident with her best friend. To say that she caught me at an extremely low point is an understatement. In the moment I had to collect myself to either not burst into tears or scream at her for being so uncompassionate. You had 13 minutes to fill this prescription. I'm sorry that I inconvenienced you too do your job.I hope that you think of us everytime you are asked to do your job. You didn't know the hell I was living. Now you do. I am chopping this up to maybe you are walking through something yourself and that is why you acted the way you did. I made sure to thank you before I left. Because even though you were not your best I did not want to join you.
