Absolutely horrible experience with the produce gent. I asked why the false advertising & he explained to come back next week for my product that's on sale! My husband and I went to the other location on Pleasant Valley and they were so very helpful. We also received our purchase with ease and it was as said in the advertisement on sale😌 we will not waste our time at this establishment

This was my first time in one of those stores and I enjoyed it. The 2 guys at the deli were super sweet and helpful . Showed me things in store I couldn't find and sliced me some good meat . Would def recommend

I consider this the main grocery store that I spend my hard earned money at. Lately i've been forced into going to Walmart or Martin's. I will not spend any money on their produce and fresh fruit. The fruit is not so fresh or the produce as well. I have to throw away so much of their produce and fruit cause it turns so quickly.. frim apples being bruised to potatoes rotten on the inside peaches an oranges too. Pears are usually hard and have no taste. I dont even look at their watermelon cantaloupe and honeydew. Garlic is usually old. For as much as they charge you would think it would look more appealing and have the product last alot Ionger than it does. Only that particular store is that way. Nor sure where the blame falls and I don't care but it's a shame that I have to shop at another store. Martin's wow it looks like bthey take pride in how they display their groceries. Walmart as well. I don't mind paying a little more if it means I can trust what I buy. Weiss reminds me of the old station mall riverside . If it wasn't for 2 particular items and acouple woman that work there that are very nice to me I wouldn't never go in there. I've been going there for over 25 yrs. What a shame!!!!

I'll tell you the two reasons why I give this five stars. First, the wonderful people in the deli who make the food. Particularly the ham and swiss hoagies that I enjoy so much. The ladies there that I have dealt with are always kind and professional. Second, the store carries Herr's sourdough pretzel bites which I can't always find elsewhere. These also compliment the hoagies very well😋

Well i guess ill never learn. Ive mentioned about the produce and fruit before. The peaches 2.99 lb laste to 2 days . We ate one and had ro throw 6 away. The watermelon was tasteless. The cantaloupe and honey doo was too ripe and rhz only thing i could keep were the grapes cauxe i could try them first. Ive been pretty lucky witg the bananas too. The cara cara oranges were so dry last week. They werethrown away as well. The worst of it all was i bought 4 hamburgers that were reduced and i paid 3.00 for them and they were mostly red with alittle brown mixed in . The next day the plastic wrap blew up and they stunk and turned so brown. To the garbage. Wow.They are always out of the bread i use. I could continue but it wont change anything. I do like some of the employees . They can be very nice and helpful.😀😃

The Altoona Weis Market in Park Hills Plaza is clean and well stocked with the best selection of gluten-free food choices in the area (no need to go to State College or Pittsburgh as often).

Weis is usually my go to store. There prices are better than Giant Eagle and Martin's. The only issue I have with Weis, is I've gotten several item's that were outdated, especially breads, and the hamburger meat quality isn't that great.

I found a lot of different items here compared to other grocery stores in the immediate area. It was nice to get a different variety. They also run some interesting sales and to my knowledge are the only grocery store chain to offer a military discount in the area; even if it is only on Thursdays and on certain Weis-brand products. I think I will come here more often.

Lack of variety of foods. No sugar free options. Very disappointing considering the prices are off the charts. Discourages me from going there often.

The beer clerk followed me around watching me like he was expecting to steal the two limes that I was preparing to purchase, after I had already paid for my beer. I imagine that it's because I'm a Grateful Dead fan, but considering I've been shopping at Weis for well over thirty years I definitely take great umbrage at that sort of treatment. Not cool, man.

I went into Weis today with my aunt and wanted a snack so i decided to get these banana chips when i opened them they smelled like dirty feet and also tasted like that i’m not sure what is wrong with them but i definitely do not recommend i am very disappointed!

Great organized store. Easy to find things and easy in and out. Clean too, except the restroom. It's really stinks of urine. Get it cleaned guys.

This place is awesome if it was up to me I would buy things here that I would need. they pretty much have everything here that u need. They also have free internet which is not the point. These people are respectfully to you. But sometime there lines can get very far back but not always.

Quick service but selection is sparse and pricing is a tad high for the area. I suggest coming prepared for what you want and in plenty if time before closing as they all seemed to be in a hurry to leave even though they still had an hour left til closem
