The entire staff from reception to nurses and doctors is always fantastic! Everybody is always so kind and helpful from start to finish. I have a fearful/reactive dog and every visit has been stress free. They always spend time to ensure he is comfortable throughout the entire process. Bringing an anxious and reactive dog anywhere can be stressful, but you are in the right hands here. You can really tell they care about their patients. I couldn’t recommend them more!! Everybody has been so knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for always being amazing to my fur baby!

We had recently moved to the area and had not established our dogs with a new vet as they were not due for a check up for several months. While we were away one weekend our dog developed a horrific ear infection. We called around and were unable to have her seen until we reached out to Hamilton animal hospital. They said to bring her in within the hour. This was 630 pm. We were so relieved. They treated us as if we were long time patients. We were seen right away. Dr Stanell and staff were just beyond kind and attentive. Our poor girl needed several different medications, and luckily recovered quickly. Upon checking out I was very pleased with the fair pricing. We are a family with 4 dogs and they will all be clients here going forward.

Love this place. We have been going for a few years now. The staff is so caring and friendly. The vets are outstanding. You can tell they care about their patients and love their jobs. Luckily we have only had to visit once for a sick animal, we mostly go for routine care, but in every instance we felt safe, as did our dogs. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this place if you want the best for your animals! I had a pet rat that needed urgent care and they handled it swiftly and with compassion and honesty. The exotic vet and the staff were so nice and professional. I had to put my animal down and they gave me all the time I needed and also handled her with care, I also ended up getting her cremated and just received the ashes. The beautiful condolences and details in the return was so kind. This sad and tragic event they handled amazingly and cannot say enough about my experience with this vet.

I love the people at this veterinary practice! I have 2 Lhasa Apso girls, one of whom has had nothing but health challenges all her life. Dr. Sarah Paradiso become our vet after we left a very unsavory practice, and we weren't sure who we could trust anymore. From the moment my dogs and I met Dr. Sarah, we knew we were in the best of hands. Sure enough, for several years now she has continued to not only care my two fur babies with intense compassion, skill, and knowledge, but also with love, humor, and sensitivity to our needs and concerns. As if that weren't enough, I have to tell you how friendly, helpful, and kind all of the staff members are, from the gals at the front desk to the nurses and vet techs. They all make me feel like a valued client and family member. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

We have been coming to Hamilton Animal Care since I was young, I am 41 now. I also used to work there when I was in college, and it was one of my favorite jobs!! My parents always took our family dogs here, and when I moved out and got my first dog of my own, that's where I took him. The doctors and staff at Hamilton Care are consistently curteous and friendly. I have always felt that myself and my dog were a priority when I walked in the doors, and never felt rushed. My first dog has since passed, but all of the doctors there were so sweet and patient with him even though he was a nightmare (they had to put a muzzle on him for their protection and for the record I recommended the muzzle). We have now adopted a new dog and we have received the same level of care. We see Dr. Paradiso almost exclusively if possible because she has such great bedside manner and genuinely cares about our dog. She is funny and takes the time to engage us in conversation. She remembers us and our dog, and she spends as much time as needed with us explaining things and answering questions. We also saw Dr. Scheitrum recently, when Dr. Paradiso was booked, and he was amazing!! He also was so personable, and took the time to talk about the dosing for our dog's medications. He even suggested a way we could save some money with one of the medications. Sure, they are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I would never trust any other vet with my dog's care, would recommend to anyone!

So as I continue to share my thanks and love for all that were involved with the help of our beloved pup named Cali !While folks would consider cost subjectivly , we were surprised by the amount, but all the time and professional services rendered. We couldn’t be happier. First place that has ever made me feel like they cared for my dog and not afraid of him. Showing they actually cared and helped him every step of the way. They keep you informed and update as well. Staff is extremely nice as well and always make you feel welcome. My pet is almost fully recovered after a long 2 weeks. If it wasn’t for Dr. Schuetrum I’m not sure we would be where we are at now! He makes you feel comfortable and only wants what is best for your pet!Also I feel for bringing my pet with all the things that happened the price was reasonable and my dog is almost 95lbs.Seeing all those bad reviews about how expensive it is, Any Vet visit anywhere can be expensive so if you can’t afford don’t have a pet or get pet insurance.

We have used HAC for years. We started at the Hamilton location with Dr Matt Reimert. When he moved we switched to Dr. Paradiso. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our pets. She is very knowledgeable and always knows the answer to all our questions.

Unfortunately I had to put my life long cat to rest last night and this facility was amazing. They promptly got me in for my emergency and took such great care of us. They viewed my cat and talked me through options. When we had to make the hard decision to put him down, the staff took care of my daughter in another room and were so kind to my family. Thank you for your service and I highly recommend this facility.

Hamilton Animal vet is by far the best facility I have taken my animals too! My daughter gotten a kitten several months ago. He was only 8 weeks old when he sustained some serious injuries where I even felt that he wasn’t going to make it overnight. The doctors and care team at the facility on Tilghman st. are the most amazing and caring individuals you will ever encounter. They gave their best care to onyx. Onyx is now almost 6 months old, he’s very energetic, a big cuddler and very playful; 4 months ago I was very scared for him. Taken him to this facility was one of best decisions I made that day!! I will continue to use their services for any and everything my pets may need!!

As a pet owner, you never feel more vulnerable than when your pet is ill. Hamilton Animal Cares knows this, and will take full advantage of the situation to milk as much money from you as they can. Scam Artists and thieves; masters of the bait and switch. They will lie to your face and then charge you for it. They will give your pet only half the medication they need so you have to go back and pay extra for the rest of it. A contemptible greed fills their hearts. But they will smile at you while they do it.

All the staff are exceptionally professional and caring. Both of my dogs had surgical procedures done within the past 3 years. Dr Paradiso and DeVos we’re amazing . They contacted me after the surgeries and provided me with updates on my pets status. The nursing staff are extremely caring and made sure my dogs were comfortable and received great care. I felt at ease with my dogs spending the night during their recovery. I highly recommend Hamilton Animal Care to any pet owner seeking quality and compassionate care for their pets .

Beautiful, bright, and very clean facility. The staff is all friendly, helpful, and understanding.I’m grateful that they were able to squeeze in my senior dog for an emergency appointment on a Saturday morning… Most places in this area aren’t even open on Saturdays, and those who are - like his regular vet - wouldn’t even get us in on an emergency basis. Also their prices seem to be a lot more fair than other offices around here, which is a breath of fresh air.

When the unthinkable happened to my Dad and his wife on a camping trip, they were left in a place they didn’t know with a horrible emergency. Their dog was blasted from an RV and suffered burns and terror that no dog or human should ever have to endure. Hamilton Animal Care not only treated Annie the dog for her pain and injuries, and treated those with the highest degree of professionalism and care, but they truly loved her while she was in their care. They sent us daily images and updates and bought her a new bed, blanket and even new friends Mr. Sunshine, Llama and Bunny, since all her things burned up in the RV. It’s care and concern such as this that not only restores a pup’s health and wellness, but also my faith in the good inherent in people. My family was fortunate to have Hamilton Animal Care there, in a place they didn’t know, when they needed help most.

Previous experiences had been positive...but we just had a 5 year old dog spayed and it was one of the worst veterinary experiences we've ever had. We were originally quoted $600 and she was dropped off the night before the surgery because of work schedules....at drop off they gave the $600 quote and said they would call us around 3pm the following day after surgery to let us know how it had gone and when she'd be ready for pickup.....they called later to insist she receive a distempter and bordatella vaccine, both of which she was up to date on and they gave her dhpp, not just distemper. After the surgery yesterday they called and left a message stating she would be ready to be picked up the following morning....we had NOT been previously informed they were going to keep her for another night and they did not imply that when saying they would let us know when she'd be ready to be picked up. The vet also stated in the message that she had woken up faster than they expected and gotten at her stitches (she should have been closely supervised while still under to make sure she was still breathing and she should not have had a chance to get to her stitches...). We called back and asked if there was anyone there overnight to watch her and the answer was no (not that they seemed to have been watching her in the first place), and they refused to allow us to pick her up "for her safety" when we would be home to keep an eye on her all night and she would be completely unsupervised at the clinic (for the record...I have worked for vets, have a degree in animal sciences, and spent a year at vet school with A's and B's....we are not incapable of supervising a dog and checking her temperature in the morning) .... We picked her up today and were also surprised with an extra $300 tacked on to the bill and a sloppy incision I've attached a photo of. Just absolutely nothing acceptable about this experience.

Wish I could give zero stars. They only care about money and do not care about animals. Was recommended to bring our cats to the vet for some of their recent behavior to ensure it was not illness related. They did absolutely nothing. They had no recommendations. We were given eye medication for the one, which she did not need nor was reason we came. This medication was also given AFTER they said her exam was fine, so what is the eye medication for? We also wanted to get their vaccines, but they refused to do so at this time. They also did not mention there is a premium when being seen on the weekend - we wanted to get them seen regardless, but common courtesy would be to give a heads up. When asked for possible referrals or recommendations for next steps as they did nothing and we are still looking for help/answers, we were told to look on Facebook....... We wanted to establish care at a new vet, but could not get them in if they were new to a different place so returned here and it is absolutely regretted and will simply seek out an appointment as another establishment. We will NOT be back and I encourage others to think twice about taking their animals to this facility. They have zero compassion, no advise for follow up, and clearly only care about dollar signs. It is a shame that this is acceptable for the treatment of animals, but if care were provided like this at a facility that treats humans it would not be tolerated. Our animals turn into part of our family and they should be treated as such. If you don't care about them, find another profession.

Exceptionally knowledgeable staff, kind courteous front office staff, literally the prettiest/cleanest/most modern vet office I've ever seen - which isn't why you'd pick one - but is a bonus while you're there. My dog is normally really jumpy in vet offices and here he was not! Very calming atmosphere/lobby and reasonable vet visit price.
