Was chased out of the store by an employee for using the self checkout. Only used the self checkout because there was no cashier up front. It’s embarrassing having a dollar general store employee yelling hey at you as you are walking out of the store.I would say if you can spare the manpower to chase people into the parking lot you can staff the register and get rid of self checkouts.The receipt says retain for my records; not have it up in the air to show the employees as you exit the store.

928 Rt Aliquippa PA store. Yesterday the dairy product truck delivered. In one day no more Dip or Sour Cream thats ridiculous. I have seen hoarding buying four to five containers at a time.Should be made 1 to 2 per consumer at time.Day after the dairy truck the shelf is empty.

I recently moved in to the area about 4 months ago. Never been a fan of the dollar stores, but as it is rather rural here, the options are limited. So I gave it a chance. Awesome decision. Clean store. Decent selection. Frozen products. They don’t have everything I want, but the reason I come back here instead of driving to target or giant eagle is because the employees are awesome. There was one lady there who I wasn’t fond of, but they have since gotten rid of her. I have gotten to know Jen the manager, and she is a very nice, caring person. Her employees seem to like working for her, and they as well are very courteous and always ready to help. Dollar general did good with this store. Especially in the people they choose to keep employed here.

I live out near the store 928. The place always has items all over the floor. Nothing is in it's right places. The manager there is rude and doesn't do anything to clean up the store. There is inventory piled sky high in the back room and sitting every where else. My sister and I were there a few weeks ago and there was a Young lady and her children, the one register wasn't working and the manager was rude and had an attitude. The manager there has a blue color to her hair, she is short also. I have had friends work there and told me not to work there because she didn't care about the store or her employees. This store needs a NEW MANAGER!!!!

It's amazing to see how many products this place carries. It's a go to place when we're in between shopping trips. They also have a convenient shipping service for packages.

Nice store. people and customers seem to be very friendly. A lot of the Dollar Generals that I go to, and especially the ones in Ohio the customers and even the employees don't seem to be too friendly.

The morning staff was absolutely rude, though the girls that are usually there at night are nice enough. I work retail and know how rough it can be, but still no reason to be rude to paying customers... Ah well. :(

Depends on the staff at work during visit. Most are very curious, I don't know his name but there is an employee there that goes out of his way to help and another that is argumentative and evidently has no common sense you tell me how is 5 cent discount considered clearance? Just goes to show millennials have no clue!!

The employees were very helpful.They remembered me and were very friendly.They spoke when I walked in and were very courteous when I asked questions and even went to look for the items I couldn't find.The store is well stocked and neat. I will keep going back.

Brand new & out in the middle of nowhere... (Except too close to the one 5 miles away, & the one five miles from that one, & that one… ∞ ;- )Good for the locals & quicker than going to a huge Wal-Mart for a small item or necessity.
