Having a hardware store in General is very important. The store is nice and clean and has a great assortment of little screws, nuts, and washers. Service is depends on who's working and what time of day it is. It can range from great to absolutely no service at all. I

Called Sunday at 11am about a purchase and delivery of yard supplies that a big box store wanted to charge $175 delivery fee (In a week and 3 days). I was home With my purchases already delivered by 12 Noon. AND I got a better price! I received Excellent service from kind, knowledgeable and personable associates. Veneta Ace Hardware has earned my business. Thank you!

They hate when you return an item. They love a sale. Make sure if you need to, go the same day. Twice I needed to and they denied it was from there. When they can see in my rewards account what was purchased. I'll never shop there again.

Always good service, stocked with what you need, and it’s worth the few extra cents you spend to avoid going into Eugene. We needed some plumbing supplies and called to ask about special orders. They took our order then and there, got the things on the way to them, and waited for us to pick them up that weekend without a deposit/payment of any kind. Most stores want cash up front before they’ll order something that they don’t stock. Good people here.

Most things one needs can be found at this Veneta Ace. The clerks are adequate with their knowledge of items in the store. Being rural the prices are a bit higher than in Eugene but with the current elevated fuel prices (as of 2022) it's a wash.

The owner kicked me out for not wearing a mask despite having religious exemption. Totally intolerant place and rude, lost a local families business for good.Shame since I work as a contractor and was a patron in the past. I will order online now, way to go ruining the small town feel.

They were somewhat friendly and helpful, but I paid quite a bit more for my purchase than other Ace Hardware stores have changed me in the past.

This place has nuts, bolts, and other hardware. I could paw thru their bins for hours you can't find this sort of selection in the big box stores.Update: the last two times I was there were unfavorable. Apparently my pandemic-era hair and beard caused me to be stereotyped essentially chased out the door.Today was different and I even saw them treat a local homeless man with kindness and respect. (Which was awesome! Go gen Z!)Now let's see if my fellow boomers who work there will do the same and not profile. 😉

When you walk in, everything is neat & clean, the store inventory setup/layout gets your interest. Curiosity kicks in & your attention is taken in with all common & unusual items as you look around. The service & knowledge, the technology is all here.

Called in a few days before I came to make sure I could return some items I didn’t need that I had bought at a different Ace Hardware.Drove over an hour to make the returns and the manager just told me nope can’t do that and did not care that someone had told me they could and did not offer any help.Would be nice if they stayed consistent with what they said over the phone so I didn’t waste $15 of fuel

Shopping at ACE is always a spectacular experience. Ntjere is never a time I go in there that I cannot find someone to assist me. My service Dog "Little Dude" never misses an opportunity to get a Doggie Treat. If they would him he'd open jar himself. All the ladies love him and his raised floppy ear and his attitude.

Shopped here all the time until recently I was kicked out last week for not wearing a mask even though I've got severe breathing issues.I called tonight to see if I could buy over the phone and they can leave it at the door, and was told they don't take payments over the phone.Just wanted to make this formal complaint because I'll be suing for discrimination. Apparently if you have medical disabilities that disqualify you from wearing a mask, you're not allowed to purchase from them.

Every single time I have tried to shop here the staff are unhelpful if not down right rude. I don't expect cheaper from a small shop but being more helpful than a box store should be a goal.

Awesome people I really enjoyed Ace hardware here in Bonita the prices are a little bit high but it's worth it to have the staff that they have help you and that's just really cool place
