Fishing, eating in the cute Cafe, walking, so much to do. It's beautiful this time of year. Darling A frame cabins you can rent. They had a Fishing derby and a chili cook off going on also. Beautiful spot.

as a local( from maupin , 19 miles away ) i have never rented a campsite, but i spend more time at the lake than on the hot shadeless deschutes in the summer, as a smartperson would. great bar , lively locals and the lake is stocked usually several times a year with all sizes , up to brooders, which are bigger than a lot of river salmon . talking 35 lb trout. In november odfw stocked 3000 more legal size fish. wanna raft, drive the twenty minutes to maupin , you wanna cool down and party hearty in a campground, sleep at the lake in the trees. just gas up before you come, marine supreme is all they had last year, 16 bucks a gallon

I stayed in an A frame this weekend, and it was okay. They are pretty basic units. The word "resort" can be sort of deceiving. This is a large campground with a mix of owners and visitors. Many people own trailers/rvs and have their own space that they pay for on a yearly basis. They have laundry, showers, restrooms, and a game room with some older arcade games. There is also a restaurant on premise with a full bar.Late summer, the water in the reservoir gets very low. They have boat rentals and stand-up paddle boards. I have been here 2 times and have been able to catch fish each time. They regularly stock this lake with Trout, but I have also caught Bass and Bluegill.

Great place if you like to party!!! Stayed there the weekend after Labor Day they had a dog show on site. One group had a projector, band and dj until way past midnight. Quiet time was supposed to be 10pm. We went and politely asked the dj to turn it down (not off) at 11pm and they turned the music up. This group comes often as the projector was showing some really cool pictures from previous trips all titled Pine Hollow and the year it was from 2012 was the oldest year I saw.The fire ban was still in place and we counted at least 5 sites had wood burning fires. Easy to tell the difference when there is smoke or not smoke.Since it isn't being monitored for noise or anything else I would say great place to come party. Yes the charge for extra everything but worth it with all amenities on site.We will be back we had a great time even with littles. Next time we know more what to expect.

I went camping at this RV resort this weekend (7-14-2023 to 7-18-2023). It was decent camping spot. I feel it was a bit crowded. There was water and power hook ups for travel trailers and small motor homes. There is a play structure and open field for kids to play. You get a card for the one bathroom with flush toilets that have showers that you pay for. There is a laundry service in the same building that is coin operated. On the back side of the same building is a fish cleaning room for the fish you can catch at the lake. The office is a small store for everyone, fishing and movie rental and other supplies. They rent paddle boats and have a dock for larger boats. A swimming area is on a small beach on the far side of the dock. There is also a restaurant to eat at by the dock. During our stay there was a car show and a shave ice vendor. The resort clears out during the weekdays. Fishing is allowed on the lake. The fish had some parasites on the side of them but Oregon fish and wildlife says the fish are safe to eat. Overall it was ok to stay at this resort. What would make it better is maybe a posted quite time, some campers were up late and loud after 11pm.

Had a great time. Happy to see frank is still as sharp as ever. The updated bathrooms are nice as well as the siding on all the structures. Wouldn't change a thing.

Pine Hollow is a very relaxing place to camp. We had a wonderful time. There is no sewer, but they have a dump station. They also for $25, come and pump out your tanks. Some of the spots are kind of hard to get into. The restaurant has good food and nice employees, it is not part of the park. There is a small store to get supplies. If they don't have what you need, there is a bigger store 4 miles away in Wamic. There is gas at the Wamic store also.We plan on going back. It's close to home.

Decent campground among the trees along side Pine Hollow Reservoir. Boat, SUP, paddle board rentals available. Clean showers and bathrooms. Kids playground. Bar and restaurant on the property. Only real downfall is that the Camp sites could use a little TLC as they are not totally level. We'll be back.

This has always been my favorite family place. My kids love it. The owners have always been awesome and helpful. We reserve our spots every year. Last year there was some bad rude campers that people complained about, they was given a warning to tone it down. The next night they did not listen to the warning so I heard they are not welcome to come back. We all love to have fun but you also have to be respectful.

The owner Frank seemed okay until I just asked!!!! If he had people on a waiting list for cabins if I needed to get out of the contract and if so could he see if someone would take my place and get back to me (he said that was confidential if he had a list, Really!) I wouldn't let him lose his money just because I'm sick or the weather wasn't what the weather online said it was suppose to be 2 weeks ago. It seems greedy because he would gladly keep my money if I canceled and rent it to someone else too, after I canceled. They have run it for 30 something years. I'm sure their financially fine. A lot of people I know have houses on the lake that probably use his store. Probably not a morning person either, very grouchy, then in the afternoon he was nice. He was fine while I was there. His wife Gail (blonde hair) that works in the store seems very quiet. The A-frame was really nice, although you might need a porta potty if you need to pee in the middle of the night. I believe there is a ghost there. i had my magnetic bathroom keys disappear 3 times and one time I put it on top of the toilet paper holder then found it on top of the quarter machine and the magnet in the card had it stuck a little. I could see a white misty ball above my head in the bathroom and took a picture. I seem to attract them throughout my life though, so it may be me. Looks like they remodeled cabins and a-frames during covid to look more like log cabin.

Big and beautiful. Hot tho. Even with a standing A/C unit it gets very hot inside, luckily there is a big weeping willow out front to hide in the shade during the heat of a summer day.

The waitress was great, but just a bit disappointed when I received my Taco Salad. It was served like any other salad. I was expecting it to be served in one of those taco shell bowls. We will try to again though.

What a fun summer place. We've been coming here for years! So many fun memories. I like it best during the week days because it's less crouded. Not a fancy resort but the views are amazing and the water is warm. Fishing is best in the spring but I did see some boys catch a 12 lb bases off the docks about two weeks ago! They have small cabins, or you can tent camp, or bring and camper!

The tent sites are good, the lake is amazing. The exits to the lake could be open more. Only exit way over near the store. The exit near the path was padlocked blocking that access. The stairs at next to the restaurant are blocked. They need more parking for people wanting to stay the day and swim after check out time. No place to park a trailer without blocking parking for other people. Only other option was to pay extra. The porta potties could be cleaned more when the place is packed but they do their best. The place is amazing though, the view is fantastic, a fantastic place to run away and relax.

Nice resevoir, cabins it also has a restaurant bar and a general store. It is very dusty there so be prepared for a thick layer of it covering everything. The spots are really not done very well and 2 levels were pretty sloped and even had no room for a tent barely a canopy. Really need to pay close attention to the site and length when booking and I would possibly take off a foot or two from thier measurements as poor guy next to us barely got in. Oh no sewer at sights but they have a wonky system behind the showers/bathroom. We chose to dump somewhere else. Oh and showers are coin operated and go at night as no hot water at about 11 am or so already for me I got a cold shower.Overall not too bad, just not our cup of tea

So we rented the 'house' option and oh my it was well worth it. The boat dock is rentable and we parked it up front. The water... Especially on hot days, is clear and like paradise. The people are friendly and the prices are amazing (three dollars for swimming goggles is a steal). The fishing is amazing, there's bass, trout, catfish, blue gill... I'm not a fisherman but could tell it was heaven for r those that are. Also there's a grill in front of the house ready to go. The silence of nature is something to be experienced here. I will be coming here again absolutely with my family.

Worst campground I’ve ever been to. Sites are on top of each other, no privacy. Everyone is loud and obnoxious so no where to get away from it. There’s literally a bar so everyone is drunk and trash and yelling at each other. I would never bring my family here and was one of my least favorite weekends of my life.

I LOVE Pine Hollow and make a point to head out there at least once a year! I now live out of state and am still trying to plan a trip to my favorite place to unwind and reset. Owners are amazing, accommodations are adorable and the staff is always friendly and inviting.

We came out here for our Labor Day weekend on Thursday rented a boat that day and the next day had some problems on the second day with the boat was rescued and taken well care of and a replacement boat with a discount to boot. For a very busy holiday that was the best I could ask for. Had a great time in the A-frames very enjoyable and caught lots of fish couldn't have asked for a better Labor Day Weekend that was very well deserved. The restaurant is closed down which was kind of a bummer but there was a new catering truck here to accommodate everybody so that was very nice.
