Nice looking place on the inside. Very modern, clean, and organized. Convenient location if you are wanting to get right onto the freeway after grabbing a snack. LOVE the breakfast burritos! So delish! That's what I go in there for, but I have heard good things about other foods there as well. I also appreciate that the gal who makes my burrito has my order memorized! The other staff members are always friendly, too!

I just had the worst deli food of my life. So soggy, the bread on the sandwich was completely falling apart and tasted old. The fries are the same, seem like they are yesterday leftovers. Disgusting.Stood around waiting at the counter to pay, nobody around. When the lady finally came in it was from outside. This place went way down hill.

I've only been inside once, but it was very clean, orderly and well stocked. Friendly clerk, too. As of yesterday, best gas price (regular) in The Dalles AND Hood River! Self-serve.

They have a nice selection of energy drinks and travel munchies. The staff is friendly and helpful and wears their masks. I feel safe shopping here when I need something fast so I can get back on the road to home.

Hattenhours is a fuel company in The Dalles Oregon, which runs West Second Street Market. While the company sells Windshield Washer Fluids, Squeegees, and Fuel, the store manager & staff seem to feel that servicing the commercial customers that regularly fuel at their pumps is not their responsibility. Squeegees falling apart, empty buckets for washer fluids, fuel spills & only the paper towels at the portable hand washing station for customers to use. But hey, maybe they think they are a division of a chain of convenience stores.

I stopped in there yesterday afternoon to buy a bottle of water in the 102° heat we are having. Got to the counter and the young man asked me to put a mask on or he would not help me. Told him I am complying as I am vaccinated. He is standing behind plexiglas, has a mask on himself. Offers me a mask that he touched with his hands and he touched the bottle of water to ring it up. What part of that makes any sense. Turned and walked out the door. Guaranteed I will never purchase anything from this store again.

W 2nd Market has prices listed as << YELLOW/BLACK >> those are listed off off of tags placed under THARAFLU meds to the back left of Body Armour. Why lie at $11.99 not $2.89?? Seemed o.k. But unfortunately the cashier couldn't make or count back change? They had to call the supervisor for assistance. What would that person have done if the other employee wasn't there? Is this really what our society has come too. How very sad.
