This is a very nice, clean and well organized store. They have taken the time to create seasonal end caps and things are actually organized in proper categories. Great job! Excellent store.

Profiled? I have a habit of wandering thrift stores and finding hidden treasures. This morning, while traveling, I wandered into this store after stopping into Starbucks. There was a big sign on the sidewalk, "Open Now" it said. After looking around for a few moments, suddenly a voice bellows from across the warehouse - sitting that the store "is Closed!""Ok," I replied, "but the sign says 'now open.'"His body language was large and intimidating as he came at me with two others in his wake. Continuing to reiterate, "we're Closed!"When I turned to his location, for my safety, he barked louder.Once I was outside, and he backed off, I told him that I don't like his attitude. Why are my experiences at Goodwill stores negative? This wasn't just negative, but I genuinely felt unsafe.

I have seen more organized Goodwill's, but this place has a good arrangement of everything. I bought a brand new, King size feather-down blanket for $49.99 -- originally $139.99. I always find cute shirts and leggings, and I have some great art piece sets from there as well. Pricing can be hit or miss. They are unwilling to haggle down the price, which is frustrating when they are charging more than what the item originally cost. I bought a pair of shoes from here that fell apart as I left the store with them on (they were really nice Dansko's). I brought them back and they gave me a $5.00 credit instead of a refund. I shop here often enough, so it was finne, however, the credit expired 1 month later, and I didn't get a chance to use it. I really think this policy should be changed. Overall, this place is conveniently located, big, they have great customer service, and they need to tweak some of their policies.

Cashiers and staff is always very nice and helpful. Only negative part is the prices, I found an ítem I donated a few days ago marked above even the price I paid. No glasses or plates need to be above $2... wine glasses for $6.99 really?

I spent $3.99 on 4 puzzles but none of them had all of the pieces. Also, the lowest cost that they can do is $0.99, which makes some small purchases not worth it. However, I was impressed with their selection of items.

I really enjoy a lot the Goodwill Thrift Store. I have to wear masks there, but the ladies working there are so nice, helpful, & also friendly. I was, at first, hesitant to shop there but many people told me they were very different. I still didn't try to shop there but I liked the location & friends told me about all the good deals they found there. So I finally, one day, just made up my mind to go in to the Goodwill Store to check it out. Well, boy was I really surprised & excited to see what they had in selections to buy. My husband & I got clothes for him & me. He got cowboy boots, a really nice leather coat, a cowboy hat, a sports watch, & 2 pairs of really great men's shoes. I got clothes for larger ladies, a swim suit, a large ladies beautiful cloth shawl, a lovely pearl ring & necklace, a larger ladies leather coat, & a gym bag. It is so fun to shop there & save on really good deals & prices. I am so glad I was wrong & I finally changed my mind & opinion. They are awesome & a huge store that doesn't mind helping a handicapped person.

Money hungry company that doesnt care about its employees let alone its customer. They worked my wife till she had to go on disability and didnt help her with that when she requested it. She always came home with swollen feet. When she was put on light duty they still worked her to the bone. She was still on her feet for the 8 hour shift. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. Only benefit to working there was she got her retirement to her family before she passed and they could keep it. Thank God for that.

I adore this place . But prices seem to be going up and up when the economy is down.. but if you play your cards right by getting something that is the color of the week you can get deals there . I know the staff there and they are all fantastic workers working for a great cause

As expected with Goodwill stores, this location is top notch in cleanliness and modern appearance with a bright atmosphere. Prices are also higher, but you just might find something more valuable here. Here you will find a large assortment of household goods, toys, dishes, clothing, sporting goods, furniture, and electronics. Most items are previously owned.

Very nice employees and good selection of furniture and clothing. Lots of overstock from Target and other big stores. Downside is some nicer brands can be really marked up.

If you've been to a Goodwill, you've been to them all. Fairly good selection, especially on toys, but a bit on the pricier side of things. My brother will go for Nerf guns here, and I'll go for shorts (for some reason they always seem to have a better selection here than other places), but if I was planning on going thrift shopping I probably wouldn't come here first. I will say it's very clean and well organized.

The Dalles Goodwill has a HUGE selection of clothes, handbags , shoes etc. The only downfall is there prices are a little high. I have bought a sweater at Goodwill and found the same item for $3 cheaper at another local thrift store. But overall ILOVE Goodwill and the staff there are very friendly, courteous, funny and great customer service.

Very clean and well organized. Clothing prices and household appliances are more expensive compared to other 2nd hand stores. The furniture prices are reasonable. They do have weekly specials throughout the store identified by the color of tag affixed. These are 50% off.

Today, I watched as a woman in front of me had to wait while a manager made her way to the front to check a $100. It’s a little silly that cashiers have to call a manager to take large bills, especially when they have a bill marker right at the register. When I came up to pay (at a different register) I was told I couldn’t pay with a $100 bill because that till had just been opened. Instead of sending me to another register the cashier just looked at my blankly and shrugged. So I left without buying my items.Goodwill is a terrible organization, but they have a near monopoly on thrift stores in my region so my choices are limited. This was the last straw, I’m done with them.

It's a Goodwill.I mean, it's what you expect. Some stuff is really cheap, some stuff send a little pricey, but mostly it's a lot of neat stuff. The building is fairly new and the staff is pretty friendly. I wish the books were organized a little better but overall it's a nice place to browse for deals.

Great place to treasure hunt! If using a shopping cart, isles are a bit narrow, if your patient, will be no problem. Associates are easy to find if you have questions.

We go there once a week either on a Thursday or a Friday. and spend anywhere from $50 to $75 (sometimes more) each time. Literally. Have been there weekly again since they opened back up. They have never had a problem with accommodating my or my sister's bonafide disabilities, which we both have Doctors notes for. Today when we went there and as we were checking out we were approached by an employee who handed us a piece of paper stating that we had to call Headquarters before we could come back because they could no longer accommodate our disability. We dont require any special equipment or treatment for accommodation. Nor it is anything annoying or troubling. But all of a sudden, just since last week, it is a problem. We had that same issue at the Redmond store two years ago. By the time the whole mess was over we got a letter of apology and monetary compensation from Goodwill. Apparently I have to go through this whole thing all over again. I hate to do it but if they get away with it with me, they could try it with someone else that might not have the courage to stand up for their rights. Goodwill...I dont understand why you do this. Your motto is to help people that are disabled. So why do the disabled customers have to fight for their right to be there?UPDATE: I turned this store into the main office and told them what happened. They contacted me back today. They stated that they talked to the employee that approached us and he proceeded to tell them that not only did he resolved the situation with us but that we joked about it afterwords. I am FURIOUS right not because that is NOT what happened AT ALL! Nothing was resolved and we certainly did not joke around about our disability. Our disabilities are no laughing matter! The employee lied and they are taking sides with him. Unbelievable!

Someone welcomed me when I walked in, then later opened the dressing room when the bell you ding to get someone's attention wasn't working. Guess people smash the bell hard sometimes, and it jams.Restrooms clean, short line, pleasant selection of physical items.

It's different experience every time you come here. Sometimes it's great. Usually it's okay. But today I was returning to get something that I considered earlier and I got here at 3 minutes before they close. But they had already locked the door and wouldn't let me in.

I love looking through this store. Only issue I have is no one respects the 6ft Covid rule here. I was looking at the electronics and I literally felt like I had a group of 4-10 around me at all times.

It’s the Goodwill, you pretty much know what you’re getting before you go. Very disappointed to see t-shirts here that were priced at $15-$20 just because of the brands, which weren’t designer or even “high end” retail. The restroom was clean.

I wish they would open the fitting rooms again. So many people live far away, and it's silly having to make a whole trip just to return a bunch of clothes that don't fit 🙄

Absolutely excellent: merchandise cup-dated everyday, service- clerks always helpful and "Johnnie on the spot" or,Moe likely "Jennie on the spot". ,,Pricing mostly moderate to good, some exceptional values.

To be frank, this is probably the best or second best Goodwill I've been to in Oregon. What makes it great? Well, the only thing that can really make it great is simply better selection, and that's what it has. Top tip? Target drops off new stuff here all the time.

Good but prices are to high for 70% of items in store. If you buy something and it does not work them you don't get your money back just in-store credit. I don't like that.
