Stopped for a one night stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and kind. We had the suite room #5 and found it to be very large, clean and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Not much to do in Spray and there was a general store next door for supplies. Beware that things close very early around here.

My daughter and I stayed here two nights as we traveled eastern Oregon. The room was clean a cozy - nice bathroom, and good mattresses - we slept well. You can buy ice and food at the store next door, and pizza a block away, but everything closes around 7pm. We found good eats in Fossil on the second day. Definitely would stay here again. Thanks!

Great little place to stay! Rented suite 5 (2 queen beds, one pull-out couch) for my family this past weekend. Loved it...the beds were comfy, the rate was certainly reasonable, everything was clean and working!If you're in or near Spray and need a place to stay, check them out!

Well thought out cabinesque 5 room motel with kitchenette, deep jacuzzi tub, cable channels, heavy duty heater and one heck of a nice guy run in’ the place. Thanks for being so flexible, Tim.This is a cute town where it seems everyone knows their neighbors and there’s a friendly wave from drivers to other drivers. There is a store right next door that has supplies and a pretty darn good restaurant. This was truly a port in the storm on a cold winter’s night.

My son and I stayed here on 7/16/2015 as we were touring through the John Day Fossil Beds. We could not have been more pleased with this wonderful little hotel in the small town of Spray. It was immaculately clean and so well stocked with everything you could need, down to a hot-pot, decent instant coffee, paper plates/bowls/cups and plastic silverware. There are really no restaurants in Spray, so if you pack a picnic lunch/dinner, you are set. A wonderful stop-over place to stay and we will be back!

We stayed in the White House via Airbnb. It's a nice clean old country home. The home was we'll stocked with supplies. There was even ice ready in the freezer, nice touch. The owner Paul was friendly. The folks at the "grocery store" were nice enough. You can certainly tell by everyone staring at you that they know you aren't from the area. It's a very small town. Overall a nice experience and much better than paying the same for a hotel chain room.

We stayed a few yrs ago & plan to return soon. Tim is pleasant, funny & not intrusive. The bed was comfyyyyyy.We often sat on the porch & watched the one car go by. 🤣Great location for "day drives" around the John Day area.

Very Cute Rooms. Has Coffee Makers, Frig, Microwaves, and Plenty of Sleeping room. The Rooms are Rustic and Cute.Not the Hilton but then who wants to stay there.Clean Air, Beautiful Views and Close too the River for Fishing.What an awesome place to Stay.

I was riding through town very tired after not finding a place to stay in John Day. I suppose it was after 11 at night. I used the night phone and the owner came down and opened a room for me. Nice guy. I was very grateful and damn tired. Woke up in the morning passed out on the bed with my riding gear still on. Thanks for the oasis! Room was clean and nicely furnished. My thanks.

What a nice hotel, in the tiny town of Spray, in the middle of no where. There were many well thought our amenities, dog specific linens, out door telephone for check in, specific rags for cleaning other than towels, etc. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, sheets were soft and smelled nice. Tim was great. Awesome place to stay if you are in spray. We came into town in a raft, he ran us down to the boats in his truck to grab stuff and set us up with a BBQ etc. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable! Thanks Tim!

The owner runs a great place! We used his place as a hub for our motorcycle run, and he was really accommodating to us, there are bbq grills to use, space for camping and RV's and the area is so beautiful! We will be back for sure!
