Bella H did a great job with a consultation to make sure she new exactly what I was wanting the hair cut to look like. Henley looked AMAZING and I will definitely be back. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I was told it would take 4 hours at the longest. After about 4.5 hours I called to check (I got concerned that maybe they took my number down wrong) and Henley ended up being there for almost 6 hours before they let me know they were done.Other than the time, the entire experience was great.

Most importantly, my dog was happy and calm when I got her back. What was very concerning and upset me was the awful condition of the grooming and reception area--hair from many different dogs was everywhere! When my little dog was put on the ground, immediately she had a large tangle of fur in her mouth and then another clump tangled around her paw. I had to remove both clumps for her safety and picked her up. This was in the reception area. All the grooming tables were littered with fur from multiple dogs. It deeply concerns me how unhygienic the grooming experience is. I liked the options that are available, but I don't want my dog exposed to multiple dogs since there is no screening for anything besides rabies. I'm extremely hesitant to return.

Great place to shop and the grooming is A1 in my book. The groomer has never failed to make my dog and I happy. They take their time (like 3 1/2 hours) and get it all done without stressing out my dog and making him nervous.

Cailin was super sweet & friendly! Our Goldendoodle had gotten heavily matted during an out of state move that kicked up his allergies, Cailin was very understanding of the situation and took great care of our boy. Thank you, Cailin!!!

I always have a great experience here, but last time was horrific. When I walked in the staff didn’t greet me and instead just asked why I was there. After I explained I had an appointment. She had me sign for it and took my dog away without a word. I paid to get just a nail trim for my dog and instead they used the nail buffer (I got a trim because the sound of the buffing machine scares him). He also has a bad knee and limps. They were yanking on his leg and yelling things at him like “oh your fine! Calm down!” All he was doing was shaking and trying to pull away. When I tried to explain to them that he was scared of the sound and that’s why I ordered a trim, the staff just said “okay” and have him back and walked away. The buff was also terrible. Most of his nails split, and he came home with a worsened limp. Very upsetting.

My Borzoi was groomed to perfection. The cashier at the shop noticed I had 2 accounts. One old email & one new email. Also noticed rewards were sitting in the old email account. So he and the manager straighten things out. I also didn't know my vital care coverage expired? So they renewed for both of my dogs. Very through! The rewards only show 2 groomings for my dog Fuji. He's been in more than 2 times this year, I think. I will have to research my paperwork to see which months they were. I was told to return when I had any further corrections. Great customer service

I love how my dog Zues loves this place and the groomers that are on the clock... Zues gets groomed once a month here and he gets the works bath, d-shed, nails trimmed, coat blown/brushed out & trimmed...they spritz him and brush his teeth as well .. yes l pay extra for the extra care they provide BUT they're good at the service they provide so get a little extra in the tip

Marissa G is one of the best groomers! PetCo on commerical in Salem OR is one of the beststores in this area. Just wish this company would monitor their pricing on grooming.

Alec, the groomer, did an excellent job on our dog. He listened to how we would like Jango hair cut and the other services. Jango's teeth were noticeably cleaner. The option of having a groomer work straight through from start to finish was the best choice for our dog. Because he is reactive to other dogs. It was very good not to have to worry about him reacting to other dogs.

My sweet dog is afraid of any place that's not home or the park, so when we come in for toe nail trimmings she shakes. The lady that helped us over the weekend was so kind, understanding and gentle with my girl. Her nails were trimmed quickly which made both of us happy and the price point doesn't break the bank. We're super happy with Petco Grooming.

The last 3 times we took our dog there we had very sloppy work done. Nails barely clipped if not missed all together. 1 time they didn't touch our dogs head at all. Not washed or cut. I had to do it myself after I got home. Re-bath, finish trimming had and ears as well as clip nails better. We'll never go back.

Took my dog here to be groomed and THEY SHAVED HER BALD! The groomer informed me It was because her fur was extremely matted. Which is not true. She has been matted worse and a groomer did not have to shave her. I saw her and cried. I honestly cried for almost an hour after getting her because of how upset I was over what they did to my dog. Its winter and she's a mini poodle who is now bald. I am honestly still crying.I will NEVER get her groomed here again.

my pets coat was still dirty after TWO LONG hours of waiting. On top of that, they cut my dogs harness and denied they did claiming, it was like that before i brought him in. After asking to replace it i got denied and was sent on my way. To think i even tiped them is very saddening on my part.

Private groomers wanted me to schedule out 2 months. My dog needed shorn now because of a medical problem. Petco scheduling was easy online and the grooming station and handlers were sufficient.

Rusty looks very good, and I’m pleased with the results. My only concern is that maybe the clippers went too close on his feet. He seems to be licking one of them a lot so likely there’s some discomfort there.

The groomers at Petco always do an amazing job with our two fluffy dogs. They come out of there with soft, clean fur that's trimmed in all the right places.
