I love that there is a thrift store where the proceeds go to caring for dogs and cats. Great selection of items. I donate here. I will gladly support them. It’s not cheap to care for all these shelter animals so I’m glad the money made form the donations that people bought goes to the care for their dogs and cats.

Great selection of items at really good prices. Oh and they have a really cute kitty, Lucky. Anytime we visit salem, we always shop at this thrift store.

Really nice place I go there with my kids every once in a while things are usually in good shape but maybe sometimes a little on the high side of the price but it's for donations so sometimes I don't mind all and all a great place.

I was very disappointed today and will never shop there again. I can't believe that they charge for bibles. While I was there a homeless man had one and they charged him for it. So wrong

Great place. The only thing was the one dressing room and it was occupied over an hour by the same person other than that I recommend checking it out.

Awesome store to shop at and there are always lots of cool treasures to find. The staff are always friendly and helpful.I paint really cool KINDNESS ROCKS and think it would be fun to have them at the counter for people to take one for free. They always leave smiles on peoples faces and the moments are priceless. Would you be interested ?

I have donated to this thrift store for years hoping my donations make a difference for the good of animals. One of my other Passions is contributing as little as possible to the negative impact by humans to the environment, so I live as committed as possible to the reduce reuse recycle lifestyle. Some years back before I left the parking lot at the thrift store from donating, I saw an employee throwing books into a garbage dumpster to include a full Encyclopedia set. I called and visited with a person in charge at the thrift store and came away with the impression that they do this as little as possible, throwing away usable items, either giving it away for free or re-donating it to a place like Goodwill. After shopping at the thrift store this afternoon and leaving near closing time, I saw an employee again throwing away MANY different items, big and small, into the dumpster, making at least a few trips doing this. I got out of my car and looked in the dumpster. I was sickened. I am so disappointed, frustrated, angry, discouraged, hopeless...How is it that supposedly being the highest IQ creatures on this planet that we are unable to creatively use material resources to help the needy and poor rather than continue to trash the Earth?! There was a citizen present that I expressed my upset to and their reply to me was that what I just saw is a daily occurrence at store closing time. As if I needed just one more thing to continue losing Faith because of people on this planet. I will no longer care about donating to the Oregon Humane Society thrift store ever again.

Dingy and in need of upkeep. The prices (even being downtown) are high and the location is becoming a hazard with the degenerate homeless.Smells musty and slightly like urine and that's I side.I went in to see about options on a dress. The rack was sticky and prices are more spendy than goodwill! The service is friendly.

Update: Still one of my favorite charities to support via shopping for needs. The selection is ever changing, and the prices are fair market value. For some reason, I'm always surprised by what I find being offered. Well worth the visit.A classic thrift store, you never know what you'll find. They always seem to have something that I didn't know that I needed until I saw it on their shelves.

I come here almost once a week! They are so friendly and the prices are so fair. Everything is really clean and organized, they are really understanding and kind toward small children. And they always have really amazing vintage children’s clothes. Plus- the money helps animals. I happily spend a lot of time and money here.

Asked the man at the front if my 3 year old could use the bathroom while we were shopping. He directed us where to go. I was snapped at by a woman when I headed towards the back. She told us no to using the restroom and told us to go use the bathroom elsewhere. We did not purchase anything and will not be back. Dissatisfied with experience.

The staff at the thrift are friendly and acknowledge the customers who shop there. They are always thankful for donations that help the animals. They have reasonable prices and have a variety of merchandise. if you go say thank you for all you do for the animals who need warm and safe homes.

Great daily discounts, free book cart, and the profits go towards the humane society. You will find new and old, and all sorts of little treasures. My favorite find was a 35mm Canon t50 that included all of the original accessories and extra lenses, all packed in the carrying case. Don't skip on them if you're a thrifter and happen to be in downtown Salem!

Small store but lots of goodies for treasure hunters. They have monthly sales by tag colors. Today was 50% off yellow tagged items. I got a 3 dollar extension cord for a buck fifty. Lots of books, clothing, cd's, dvd's, and even cassettes and eight track tapes! Vinyl as well. Worth a look and support a good cause.

Nice place to shop. Items r in good shape. Customer service is not bad except we brighten our service dog and they had other dogs there that werent on a leash and allowed to jump on our dog repeatedly. when are dog out of set and try getting them off the lady at the store or complained about our dog which was completely out of line. The woman's clearly was not aware of the fact that you had to keep a dog on a leash and could obviously not let that dog jump on other dogs and expect the other leashed dog to be okay. anyhow we did have some words with a woman regarding it and had to discuss with her the fact that she needed customers in the store in order to pay for her wages and given that fact, she apologized and said the next time you wish to shop in the store to let us know so she would put her dog on a leash which I felt was fair and decent so all-in-all a good experience

The staff was friendly and got lots of great things, some blouses, a new dog collar, drawer dividers, a brand new dog nail trimmer, and many other small accessories. Thank you and I'll see you again soon :-)

A lot of clothes, glass figurines, and kitchen supplies most people don't want. Also very outdated electronics. Selection not optimal. Plus everything I was interested in seemed over priced. The staff there are always very friendly and stuff is pretty well organized.

Lots of interesting stuff there. I managed to pick up an almost new badminton set for just a few bucks. Funds here help the Willamette Humane Society. Staff is super friendly.

This has always been our favorite place to donate used items. The money generated goes to the animals as opposed to the enormous salary of an organization like Goodwill. Their items are clean and priced reasonably.

I got a cat carrier and it is a nice one . I have gotten amazing things there for a mere 3 or 4 bucks. It's a great place. Nice art work snd the money goes to the greatest cause in the world. Saving our beloved felines and canine friends ……….I added a picture of my cat Bullwinkle from a time when we were without a home and he spent a lot of time with me inside the Pioneer Mall visiting the tourists like the little girlin the pic below. He is the world to me. He pulled me thought the hardest 2 years I ever had and he stayed strong. Our cats and dogs deserve the best in life, Thank you for helping them find homes. Bulllwinkle has a brother I adopted from Willamette Valley Humane Society so he would have a friend while I work. He just turned 4.

Let's just say it's much better than Goodwill prices. Not a huge selection but you might find at least something you need or would like to have. Prepare to wait outside in line due to covid.

Clean, organized and friendly staff! The prices are a little higher on non-clothing items but as it goes toward helping animals I’m okay with it! 😊

Good selection of stuff, but you have to be careful what the electronics. I sometimes a partner to in a component might be burned out till while the device will light up it won't function.

Though relatively small, the pricing is great, the building is clean, and the staff are nice. It can be a hit-or-miss, since I feel like they have less of an inventory change over time.
