Blue Compass is our new go-to for anything trailer related! My husband and I haven’t had such a genuinely excellent service experience in a long time. We bought our current travel trailer and weight distribution hitch from the “other guy” (hint: across the street). We recently made a change to our pickup and had to recheck our weight distribution hitch. Upon inspection we found it had been installed incorrectly. We suspected something was up when we found we had some strange tire wear after a 7,000 mile road trip. When we called the place we bought it from and explained that we felt it had been installed incorrectly, they said they’d fix it….for a FEE!! And, they couldn’t work us in for about a week and a half! Seriously? Funny how when you are spending 30k they treat you like royalty, but when you ask them to fix THEIR mistake - they’ll do it, but it’s going to cost you more money. That’s when we decided to call Blue Compass. Not only did they offer to do it same day, but they didn’t charge us! Brett, the service manager, asked his expert techs - Eli and Darold to make the needed adjustments and they did it on the spot. My husband and I are very grateful as we are headed out on another long road trip. We feel much safer knowing our hitch is adjusted correctly and want Blue Compass to know they have won all our future business.

Blue Compass RV Redmond provided us with exceptional service. Our salesman Nate was not pushy, answered all questions, super knowledgeable and really went above and beyond in customer service. Highly recommend Nate!Jen in finance was patient and fully explained all financing options, super easy to deal with.Mike the general manager took time out to help answer questions and really provide us with confidence in our purchase.In the service dept, we worked with Brett and Nick (parts manager). Brett was super friendly and gave great advice on what we may need for our new 5th wheel to ensure safety. Felt no pressure from any staff.We are so lucky to have this team local in Redmond and will continue to do business with them!

Don’t waste your hard earned money and time on this place !!!As you can imagine I was extremely excited to purchase my first camper. After many years of going back and forth on buying a new one or used. I finally made to decision to take the leap and invest a new one. This past summer, we went to the RV show at the fairgrounds and found a camper that was suitable for our little family. When we did the walk-through, I noticed that there Some things missing in the camper. They insured me that by the time I picked up the camper, everything would be fixed and sometimes the manufacturers mess up. This being my first rodeo with buying a new camper I put my face in them. About four weeks later, they finally called went to go pick up the camper and nothing was fixed. They apologized and said that they have everything on order and it should be here soon and that they were pulling parts from it because they had a bunch of campers to get ready from the fairgrounds event. When doing the walk-through, I listed a ton of stuff and was absolutely disappointed that we had put 20,000 cash down on this camper yet there were things broken and the entire under carriage was rusted. They told me that happens because they get their campers from Indiana. Once again, I was not happy about it, but was super A camper for my family. Needless to say, we went home that day with the camper and waited for a phone call. They told us to get it out and go camping a few times and make notes on anything that we noticed that needed to be adjusted or repaired. So we loaded the family and went camping for three days. Only to find out that there was no water valve on the camper so we had no water. The front door was broken and would shut unless you lifted it and slammed it not to mention the lock didn’t work. The oven wouldn’t even heat up and our furnace wouldn’t stay on. After the trip, I reached out to them, let them know of the other issues that we had noticed after staying in it. They said they would give us a call back. After several attempts of calling, and not receiving any calls back finally three months later I was able to reach someone. They asked me to send in photos of everything that was wrong and they would get a work order going. When I continued to check on it and nobody returned my phone calls. It wasn’t until I started to get upset with them after being calm for several months that somebody finally got in touch with me. I brought it in before Christmas and just received a message yesterday that they are reviewing the work order and ordering the parts. They told me I can come pick it up until the parts come in. Well we played that game with them last time and here we are. On top of it all the installed our hitch wrong and will most likely meet to purchase a new one because the sway bars are now bent and hard to get in place. Ughhhhh!!!!! The frustrating part is by the time we get our camper back we will have owned it for 6 months and have yet to have a fully operating camper. This company does not care about customer service. All they care about is a quick sale. I would recommend going elsewhere. They completely crushed our dream of having a new family camper. Now we are stuck dealing with this mess because they were not willing to work with me on returning it. It is heartbreaking that you make such a big investment on some thing and they could care less. If I could give a zero star that would be being gracious.

Absolutely the best buying experience we have ever had! We have purchased many RV's and this was by far the easiest purchase yet. From start to finish, all of the personnel were friendly, professional and receptive to our needs. We personally met with Mike, the General Manager who was all of the above. Our salesman, Scott Blaylock led us from the very beginning until we picked up the coach and was outstanding! He is definitely an asset to Blue Compass. Matt (Finance Manager) met with us on a Sunday and made the process extremely easy and answered all of our questions. We also met with Scott the Service Manager and two of the service technicians who did the walk-thru prior to leaving with our new fifth-wheel. Again, very professional and attentive to our questions and needs. We highly recommend anyone looking for an RV to go here first. You won't be sorry and it will save you time in shopping around! In my 57 years on this rock I have never been so disappointed. This company made an appointment with me in Oct of 2022 for service in March of 2023, I provided the warranty issues in typed writing to them at the time the appointment was scheduled. They had the rv for three months and in that time they not only did not perform the warranty repairs that was provided in typed writing, they did additional damage to the rv. If you choose to do business with this company…. You are stupid. Do not expect any service after the sale. The service manager is worthless, his word is non existent. You are wasting your money.

Beware of atrocious customer service. My husband and I purchased a brand new Grand Design travel trailer in November last year. The buying process was easy as could be. The second the deal was done we were completely ghosted. We (still) have several unfixed issues, all covered under our warranty, and it's been like pulling teeth to get anyone from Blue Compass to engage with us. Super disappointing especially with such a large purchase. Additionally, we had a few items fixed before leaving the lot and half the work that was done was just rubbish and has either broke again or looks terrible.

Nothing has changed with their name change, still very poor customer service in the service department. I took my trailer in for its annual inspection, it was supposed to be done Friday. I left them a message that I was called out of town and would pick it up Monday. Show up Monday, it's not done. Of course no communication from them about it. This was just an inspection, not any service, so they can't even blame it on parts.I strongly recommend taking your trailer to an independent shop for any work, as they still cannot get it together here. I have work scheduled on my trailer at another shop. Not even being able to finish a simple inspection certainly has me doubting any work they do.I am spending my service money elsewhere since there has been no improvement since they were Blue Dog.Update: Finally was able to pick up my trailer, what a mess that was, then caught them in a direct lie about work having been done. Part of an inspection was to test the water heater, however when I pulled the drain plug it was bone dry. Their response was "I guess somebody didn't do their job"Caveat Emptor

Went in to get a new tankless water heater. The parts department, Jared in particular was amazing. He really helped make sure I got the right things I needed and even if the did not have the parts in stock, they were able to get them next day with no shipping charges.

I’m very grateful to Tom for getting me my new Grand Design RV.Tom sold us the RV like normal and that translated into a 20% difference on price so the trip to Redmond/Bend was well worth it from Seattle for the exact same rig and same options.Tom is a good rep because he cares about his customers and nurtures relationships. In my business this is what makes the difference between average reps and really good ones that stay with your business as they can see the equipment sales years down the road when conditions have changed in the market.The delivery of the trailer was very organized and the Anna the money person was super efficient and fun to talk to. Great sense of humor.Roger in service is retired law enforcement and also owns the same brand of RV so he knew all the specifics. He also helped me get the rig ready to tow as we needed to do a bunch of adjustments to get things just right.So a real down home place despite being part of a larger corporate place.

* This review is based upon my purchase of a 2021 277 BHS Shadow Cruiser Travel Trailer/Coach. The issues I report & Make note of are truthful & accurate, yet it was during the Covid 19 Governent forced shutdown. I would hope that Blue Dog RV recognized issues & took steps to avoid what i endured.I had the displeasure of picking Blue Dog RV of Redmond after researching the various dealers & getting a referall of sorts from an acquaintance, the salesman by the name of Ace was very good at salesmanship and after looking at a couple trailers the CRUISER was picked. I negotiated for complete installation of 2 t.v's, including the mounts. I was very clear with Ace, and he assured me later that all was in place for the installation per our deal. When I took the 2 t.vs to the Service Dept. I was surprised to have the Service Mgr. Request immediate payment for labor & mounts/ hardware. I was shocked since Ace assured me that the deal was l in place. I said the deal was made & and insisted he confirm it with Sales. Nothing was done, and finally, he agreed to wave the labor but full price on mounts. the walk thru was then scheduled for 9 A:M.I arrived a few minutes prior to walk thru, found the trailer not ready and a young man who clearly had substance issues with shoes falling off his feet shaking,was attempting to mount my 42" Samsung & right in front of me lost his grip trying to slide on mount. I caught my own television 📺 & saved it from crashing to the floor. Then, after I assisted in sliding it on mount, it was several inches off and wouldn't close. He asked if it was OK and I was shocked, I said no, fix it. I left the trailer, and here is the real shocker, He did drop my 42" ROKU in the bedroom, damaging the wall and destroying the TV. He then turned the TV to cover the obvious damage, failing to report it. Before the walk thru I discovered the damaged walI, asking what happened, he said he didn't know, I knew it was a lie and demanded repairs , he then grabbed a special eraser & proceeded ro rub so hard it removed wall paper. . The walk thru was 2 1/2 hours late & done by the yard tow driver who said he had no experience doing walk thru's, I was so upset by this point & basically just went thru the motions, basically wanting to leave .The tow driver had no clue what the protocol was & the event was a debacle.After getting home and turning on the TV, I found it shattered,I looked at the wall & it all became clear. I immediately contactedThe Service Dpt. & they basically blamed me for it, taking the word of their new hire who was clearly unprepared & not qualified. After days of grief and arguing with the Blue Dog Service manager, who often did not take my calls, did they replace my TV with a sub -standard TLC TV.There is so much more, yet I must sum it up this way. I hope no one goes thru what I did as it still troubles me.This ordeal was the most unprofessional treatment I have personally ever witnessed in my 56 years, it is a shame what happened, Sales & Service had no coordination & they flat out deceived me, treated me in a very bad way. I hate to give bad reviews. Believe it or not, I'm withholding other issues. *I can not recommend patronage, nor can I dissuade patronage, I pray the serious shortcomings and bad business practices have been addressed so no one has to endure a similar fate.

We bought our grand design imagine 23bhe here a few years ago and have had them taken care of our service needs. We are still rv newbies so I ask a lot of questions every time I’m here and they are very helpful and patient. Skylier the service tech who de-winterized the trailer today was helpful helping me troubleshoot a few things and gave good tips.

I have owned my 5th Wheel now for a couple of years. I bought it from Blue Compass under the old management. I have had several interactions with the new management team through normal service on my unit. I could not be more pleased with the new management team. It is a caring and wonderful place that follows through on what they say now!!!

This rating is one of the weirdest ones I've done. Here me out. I bought my rig from them in May of 2023. Immediately started needing issues and they failed to administer a manufacturer's rebate appropriately. Needed help with service for a recall issue, onboard batteries and charging issue, and had some parts that needed replaced on a brand new rig. Service had my rig for a month, couldn't figure out why onboard batteries weren't charging. Despite my repeated checks an calls, they did not reach out to me ever. Never got anyone in parts to ever reach out and say my parts had arrived. My biggest issue was this rebate concern, it was for $7500.00 dollars and I continued to get the runaround from management. During this whole time, their overall performance couldn't have been more 1star. Fast forward to January of 2024, I reached out to find out if all the information I had submitted to them had ever made it to their corporate office for consideration, and there's a new general manager, Michael Johnston! He told me he is cleaning up a lot of messes that had been left behind by the previous team. Within the next two weeks, my rebate issue was resolved, the parts department reached out to me to let me know that it was time to fix my backlogged parts issues. He did more to support my issues in that time period than anything done by prior management in the 7 months I've owned the rig. And for those reasons, I believe they deserve the 5 star rating.

Absolute worst customer service at the service department. Frequent no call backs or being placed on hold never to pick up the phone again. I can never get through to anyone unless I physically go in and even then it’s a nightmare. Talk down to me and act like I am stupid when scheduling for repairs to be done within the warranty time frame. Getting charged for something they broke is absolutely ridiculous. I never get a call when the trailer is done. Called to check the status and it had been done for 4 days with no call! If I didn’t have to use them for the recalls I would never step foot in there again.

The worst service department ever. We brought our trailer in for warranty work. They had it for three months. Never called us with updates and every time we called they would tell us they would call back but never would. When we finally picked it up the work was very poor. Doors aren’t lined up. Used the wrong screws. Left a mess in our trailer from the work they did. Left our trailer unlocked, the list goes on. This was the third time they had it and every time was the same. I was told it was due to an employee that is no longer there. But why didn’t they fix it correctly once that person was gone. Will never do business either again and don’t recommend anyone else doe’s either.

Absolutely the worst custom service department. I took my travel trailer to them this summer as there was a factory recall, plus Had a small water leak. One month in the shop for repairs. Took it on our last trip first of October. Within 30 minutes after hook up, water leaking more than it did before repairs. Upon arriving at home, I called the service department 3 times, I left a message 3 times, never a call back. If this is their normal procedure, they should NOT be in business.

I was promised when I drove off the lot that they would send someone to fix my remote generator starter. It's been two months and they won't even respond to my inquiries. Also, they blatantly lied to me when I asked for an experienced inspector to give my walk through and they gave me a new hire. 0/10 I do not recommend.

We were in the area camping, and lost the brake light cover on our camper somewhere on our way to Redmond. We popped in to Blue Compass RV and Steve was so helpful and friendly. We were able to get a replacement lens and get back on the road in just a few minutes.

Except when you take your trailer to them and they have it for 3 months, then you finally get to go get your trailer and find out they broke your awning end cap and ordered a new awning for you that was 4 months ago. Still waiting for the part and a phone call. They also don’t like to answer or return phones calls.

Had a great experience purchasing a new travel trailer from Blue Dog RV in Redmond, Oregon.No high-pressure sales tactics, just a desire to make sure you leave with what you want and whatever your budget dictates. Even when we had a small miscommunication, they did everything right in making sure it was right. Top notch!We ended up getting a 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2800BH. It performed very well for our first weekend camping trip. We're already talking about going with Grand Design when we upgrade in the future! Great company, and great product. I can see why Blue Dog was so excited about them. We will definitely be going with Blue Dog RV in the future, too!
