Great store with just about all you could need for your pet. An If what you're looking for is unavailable there's plenty of knowledgeable Staff to point you in the right direction. Parking sucks, but show me somewhere on Broadway that doesn't?.. its worth the parking pains for the services and deals received. Kind caring staff makes all the difference. Great place

Wow! It's been twenty years since I shopped here....now I've been back three times in two weeks! the knowledge and good humor of the staff make it the ultimate shopping experience. I revamped my mom's fish tank with an incredible variety of plants and fish. I planned to spend 100 bucks, but got everything I wanted for under 50 bucks. There were many discounts

This place carries Arcadia lighting for reptiles! Stopped by for the first time and they have a good supply of feeders and overall a healthy amount of things for my bearded dragons. Good to know and I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Store is really nice aswell.

I love this pet store. Great hours. Vast selection of supplies for all types of animals from snakes, lizards, hamsters, dogs, cats, fish the list goes on and on. The best part of this store is the staff. They love pets and love what they do. Helpful and so kind towards the kids and customers. This place is a must visit even if you don’t have a pet.

The staff here is always friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to order the tarantula I was looking for and he was in great condition when I got him.They have the most amazing selection of hamster supplies! Really, I think most small rodents would enjoy it. They really care here and it shows.

Staff are super knowledgeable on everything I’ve ever needed for my Guinea pigs, frogs and dogs! I can always find fun new toys and healthy treats. I love how abundant their selection for small animals is the most! You can really get anything you need here, and their point system rocks.

One of my favorite pet stores in Portland. They have a smaller fish selection but the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. They have alot of cat/dog items. Some live animals and insects. I mostly go for fish stuff though. Great prices and they have awesome hours!!! Definitely recommend even if it's just to see it!

I got a free fish tank from a friend. So, I did as much research as I could on what I wanted to put in it, then was referred to these guys. I've had nothing but good interactions with the staff. Whom all seem to not just be knowledgeable be enthusiastic about the hobby. Plus, the plants there and at the sister store across the street are amazing. I had gone a few times to the wet spot beforehand. Which had more fish but also a lot more teenagers that couldn't really answer my questions.

My new pet shop. Great selection of items for each pet owner. Bought all my tank and snake supplies here and let me add that the employees are very knowledgeable. I had help choosing the correct lighting and which light dome to use for my tank. Absolutely love that they have live feed here. A lot of people are against live feeding for good and understandable reasons but I myself just prefer the live feed. It's so amusing to see what my little danger noodle does in the face of food the way nature intended. Another point for the staff as well because they're always so friendly when I stop by. They have a wide variety of everything you'd need for your cuddly creatures. (Snek is hidden in log, he's a shy boy)

We have had a great experience with POB. We have gotten the cutest little guinea pig to add to our herd. We had a situation with her. The store manager worked with us while it got sorted out. They have a wide array of animal products. The cages are clean. They only sell paired guinea pigs, which is best practice. They are feeding a variety of food to them. Staff is super helpful. Store is clean. Highly recommend getting small pets here as well as supplies.

I stopped in looking for a specific reptile vitamin, but came out with several things for my dogs and turtles. I was pleasantly surprised to see an endcap of Aquarium Co-op aquarium supplies. Their animals seem well cared for, and I was glad to see they do a quarantine period on any new reptiles that come into the store. Also, the staff were very friendly.

This store has the best customer service. I called them to check inventory and not only did they answer the phone, but check to make sure it was available. My 50 pounds of aquarium gravel was waiting at the front counter. She even offer to help carry it to my carCan't wait live fish remodel is completed. Only place to shop.

They have been very helpful with getting my new craigslist beardie up and running. He is in rough shape but the advice help and guidance of the staff here has helped us get off on the right foot. I think it was Cory or Cody? (I'm terrible with names) who helped me figure out the right lights. All the staff where super helpful when one of the lights I bought was malfunctioning. They helped me get a replacement right away. Cory/cody also got me set up with getting notified when a terrarium I wanted gets restocked. They are very attentive and knowledgeable. Love this place. As an animal care worker at a shelter, I really appreciated their rabbit and rat set up too. They have come a long way and are setting a great example for husbandry! Love love love it.

It's a good pet store they have a little bit of everything and it's so much better than Petco or PetSmart. They have plenty of reptile supplies, tanks, terrariums, fake and real plants. Real plants across the street. Endless amounts of supplies. Different types of feeders. Plenty of variety of cat food and dog food and all sorts of other foods for other pets. I know I can go to That's on Broadway and I know I can go there and pick up whatever I'm looking for.

I love this pet store so much; my partner and I frequent this place for cat food all the time but my partner has recently wanted to start a shrimp tank, they've been looking at their premade nano tanks since they started making them and recently found out they also do a tank discount on their empty tanks with almost everything you need to start your own! We were helped by Brandon in the fish department and they were so helpful! it was a busy Saturday but they still walked us through which plants would be best for low light and helped us pick out the right tank for what we wanted! I really appreciated it and will definitely continue coming back for all our pet needs! thanks for being so cool 😎

This place is everything Portland could ask for in a pet store. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and diverse. They're on-average a good looking bunch of people, too, but that hardly matters beyond adding to an already pleasant experience 😜They have a wide selection of sustainable, natural, organic, and other kinds specialty small mammal food. They have “grab and go“ containers of Dubia roaches, crickets in 3 or 4 sizes, and various grubs and worms ready on the shelf. They also have live isopods and other supplies for vivariums!The cat and dog sections are not as large as box stores sometimes are, but they manage to cram an incredible selection in the space they have. Cool, locally-made cat trees for reasonable prices are displayed along the north wall; I'm not a dog person but it looks like they have cool things for them, too. Supplies for geriatric pets; resources for services and education; the list goes on...

One of the best pet stores I ever been in! Very friendly and patient staff. Big space, even bigger selection. They sell things I can't even find anywhere else in any regular pet shop town! Accommodates wide variety of pets.Gave stickers to my 4yr old daughter who was being an absolute pain that day and even waited for me to get my tags made well after closing time! Made sure I had everything I needed and even offered me advice on items they'd be getting in the near future in case I decided if rather go with that and wait to purchase the current item I had settled for. 🙂👍Only Minor 'complaint'(more like friendly critical comment😘) is that I wish their tag maker machine was a bit more sophisticated and was easier to navigate/carved better looking font on the tags/had more customizable settings/etc... 😋Other than that tid bit- this place is mad bodacious, my animal lovin' dudes and babes. ✌️😋🐾🐕🐈🐁🐍🐇🦎🐒 🐓🐣🐦 🦔🐢🐠🐟🐚🐌🐊🦂🕷️🐛🦗🐜🐾

I highly recommend this shop! They have knowledgeable and friendly staff, a great selection of quality animal supplies, and all of their animals from pets to breeders are well cared for. I travel 40 minutes just to come here!!!Picture is of my snake Wormy, who I did not get here but I regularly buy food for him here.

The ostensible manager in the fish department exudes an off-putting mix of standoffishness and elitism. Witnessing him dispense inaccurate information with minimal patience dissuaded me from seeking his assistance and prompted my decision to take my business elsewhere. The confounding decision to inundate store patrons with German talk radio begs the question of Pets on Broadway's rationale. Despite these management missteps, a silver lining emerges in the form of the exceptional customer service delivered by the competent employees on the floor, who thankfully provided assistance in contrast to the managerial shortcomings.

These guys are well stocked and taking COVID very seriously. I came in on Friday (in the midst of Portland's Feb 2021 snow storm) to grab booties for my dog and some treats to incentivize the wearing of said booties. Pets on Broadway was open, warm, incredibly well stocked with a range of options when it came to booties (as well as many other items it seems), and staff were very helpful with showing me what was on offer. I appreciated the various price levels available, and how well they are managing social distance practices (especially when it came to the low-touch payment process). I'll be back here for sure and would recommend this store as a one-stop shop for most pet needs!
