Weekend is a busy. Only 2 cashiers are there. They looked like an overwhelmed. But try to kind and nice. Parking lots are crazy busy and tight. Outside This area’s little bit ghetto and I saw the many homeless people outside buildings. I’m live in Vancouver. I just stopped by quickly and buy for my can and dog foods. Also with out sales taxes.

This was absolutely the worst hair cut my dog had EVER gotten. I said it was okay to shave some dread my dog had behind her ears and on the back of her legs and it was done horribly! I have brought her to another groomer with a similar amount of dreads and they were shaved off and the rest of her long hair was brushed and left as is. I was alarmed at how bad it looked, ALL of the hair on the back of her legs was shaved off and the hair around her ears was horribly uneven. I was unhappy with the way it looked, but I knew it was going to grow out so I was going to let it slide (but NEVER come back). Later that day I realized that a huge chunk was taken out of her tail without even an attempt at making it look natural, huge chunks were taken out behind her ears all the way down to her skin without even an attempt to make it look somewhat acceptable, and the final straw was a chunk of her paw that was cut off/shaven off causing her pain and a limp. Not only am I going to demanding a refund, am NEVER going to bring my dog back to Petco, but I am writing this review to hopefully save any future pet owners from the absolutely horrendous and unsafe care that was provided to my dog.

Do not buy crickets from here. It is a scam. I bought crickets today. Spent $6.50 for what was supposed to be 36 live crickets. I got less than 10 live ones, I counted and there were 29 dead crickets. Supposedly they were born two days ago. That has to be a lie

Your employees lack compassion and they have attitudes... I asked someone for help and they said .. sorry I am busy I'll get someone for you.. the lady forgot to tell someone to come help me. I am disabled it's hard for me to stand for too long. Finally I asked someone after waiting for 20 mins if they can help I told him what happened with the other employee and he just brushed it off. He just said.. well I am here now ma'am so what can I do for you? I didn't want a sympathy party.. it would have been nice if he said sorry for the wait. After I asked him what I needed he told me what Isles it was a at. He saw I was disabled and wanted a couple of huge bags of dog food and cat food dog and cat toys... I didn't see any carts... He didn't offer to help he just told me what isle it was at and that was it. When I went to the cashier I told him.. after I saw he was a manager... I told him that his employees need to be more compassionate considering they work at a pet store. He also bushes me off.. he was this younger man maybe gay. Not saying that is a problem at all! I just didn't remember his name and that's the only way I can describe him... I'm sorry if that is offensive I really just don't remember his name. After he treated me like I was the problem I didn't but the stuff.. it was over 100 dollars that your store passed on because of your lack of companion and customer service.... Your store was closer then pet smart where I usually go... but never ever again will I shop at this store.

Don’t go here for grooming if you have an Extra-Large dog. I tip extremely well due to the extra handling a dog his size needs. I wouldn’t have minded if they said they couldn’t handle grooming him due to his size (140lb+ Great Pyrenees) but to lie and say he was being aggressive showing teeth is crazyyyy. He’s been getting groomed since he was 3 months, twice a month. He’s socialized almost everyday with other dogs/people/kids and aggression is extremely rare for his breed.So if you have a dog that’s like my big fella, take them to BarkZone for grooming, they do an amazing job.

I was followed around by an employee clearly targeted there were plenty of customers that were dressed the same the only differences is my skin color. No I didn't have a back pack I had a tiny purse .I have shopped at this petco for many years have came hear at least monthly I feel disgusted at how I was treated. We didn't purchase any thing since we were followed around the store and weren't comfortable the whole time since the minute we walked in. Every single section we were followed over 30 times she was walking by us. And I finally decided to leave to go to Grocery outlet and as soon as we were walking out the lady stood by the door with a stance and her hands on her hip. I take my dog here for the vet over the past 4 years I buy bird food and hamster food I would rather drive to PetSmart in stead now and will be changing vets. I'm really disappointed since it's a short walk from home.This all happened around 10 am

Rating the Banfield - the staff and doctors are excellent and are of the same high quality you’d find at any other vet clinic. Wellness plans cover what a healthy pet would need and options to add dental once a year aren’t too much more in terms of expense. I have 4 pets and always feel welcomed here.

Update to your response: I really hope you do, seems like a lot of people have said this about this petco and you reply with the same response but same outcome. Be better do better, these animals deserve it. Thanks!I have something to tell you, something very sad what happened at your Petco establishment, well I went to buy a couple of parakeets and it was a very bad experience, well, something very sad happened, a manager scolded an employee in front of the customers because she wasn't cleaning the ferrets cage right. It worried me, but she took it out on the little animals. I told her that they were beautiful ferrets and the employee since she was very angry because they scolded her, told me that they are very disgusting and very very aggressive. A pet employee, especially, does not have to refer to the little animals like that. So I asked her, can you help me? I need two parakeets and she said " I'm busy" and she told another employee (another one who was worse than her) couldn't even grab the parakeets'. He abuse them a lot to be able to grab them. He dragged the little tiny brid with those little fish net to catch fish ... he said "oh, oh, I'm afraid of them" and the bird escaped making the worker go after them again. At one point (15 mins later) when we lost the one I actually wanted, I just told him to pick one he could catch, at that point I wasn't interested anymore in having one I have selected... I couldn't watch him having a difficulty time grabbing and dragging them. It really broke my heart.My parakeets that I got that day were very scared for a longtime, I made sure I spend all my time on making their big cage as their paradise! They have everything their little hearts could want or need. They are very happy now, but I had to do a lot to Untraumatize those poor birds. I have had another parakeets and they always adjust within days.I think these people that work at these forget that they are not a bag of food, they are alive, they feel, it was something incredible I witnessed. I hope you guys can train your employees to handle the animals with care or get employees that like what they do. The animals are scared as it is.

As my daughter left the store carrying a 40 lb bag of litter a man drops the lead for his dogs that run out of the store. Employee Tracy runs out the door shoving my daughter who says you should say excuse me. The dog owner says f you b word and when I say to him hey why would you say that to a kid?!? he of course curses me out and Tracy comes back out of the store to tell me to never come back I’m banned. Don’t worry I don’t want to spend my money there and I don’t think anybody should.

The Division store is purely stocked and the employees i have interacted with are not great with their customer service skills. I've never been asked if i need help or anything and when i did ask, i was told to hold on and ignored until i left.

I went with my friend, her dog has certain dietary restrictions and she only buys from Petco. She bought a bag of food similar to what she wanted, they did not have the flavor she normally buys at her Petco across town. She paid $24.00 for a bag that will last about 5 days. All I can say is W.O.W. and more W.O.W. three staff members passed and did not ask if we wanted help. Two staff manning the register did not speak to her until after she started ringing up her order. We were the only ones in the store.

I love Petco! Great savings and I love that I can order online. It's been really helpful especially today for finding supplies and food for 5 rescued kittens. ❤️Here are pictures of the two kittens I kept.

I am grateful to two people-of-petco who helped me today. We adopted two dogs yesterday and I came in with some specific issues. One of the employees helped me find soft treats (dogs seem to have sensitive gums), and the other let me return an expensive dog gate (when we got it home we found it was damaged) and immediately get another one. (Dogs seem to be runners.) Thanks to them all of us will be sleeping better tonight.

Their fish department is revolting, been to a lot of fish stores and more specifically petco's, this is the worst condition I've ever seen any aquatic Department , it was quite disgusting and when I brought it up to the person at the front ringing me up ,he could care less, against my better judgement I ended up getting a half moon betta because me and my son we're leaving Portland and I want some type of souvenir to remember what meeting his grandpa for the first time, despite being in a clea tank that is treated in ph balanced,ect, I am very certain it will die anyway, I knew that there was a chance of happening when I bought it, but I figured it was the only chance the poor little fish had, out of maybe 15 other fish, this was the only one that even had a speck of a chance, their fish department needs to be shut down asap it is cruel!!!it is beyond words

The store was extremely hard to navigate. Merchandise haphazardly all over the place. We were looking for a cat scratching post. They were located in 5 different areas which made it very difficult to make a selection.

The grooming employees are not very friendly. The cashier is a racist, I'm Hispanic, she didn't ask me for my phone number for my reward points, but whoever I pay after me because he's an American, he treated him kindly and asked for his phone number, with that kind of service they expect me to leave them TIP. come on ! This store hires employees with little to no knowledge of what they're selling, especially the fish department. They've told us numerous times that you don't need to buy groups of tetras (incorrect as tetras are a schooling fish) and tried selling aggressive fish as non-aggressive. They've argued with me and my parents multiple times when I studied on the matters as a potential major and we have kept fish for 20+ years. I DO NOT recommend Petco if you want fish. Find a local aquatic shop or even PetSmart is better than Petco.

Sitting here at Petco for a 9:30 grooming appointment but no one can check me in. His groomer is late for her shift and the manager is no where to be found.. This a picture of them taking in other dogs that checked in after me. It is now 9:46. After all that time they couldn’t take him because he has a heart murmur. It is now 9:54 and I could have been told that from the beginning but they have a stupid policy where only the specific groomer or the manager can check dogs in. I feel like they should pay me for my wasted time and I make 60 bucks an hour! They owe me 30 bucks!!!!

Honestly not impressed with the layout, also there were a lot of places and items blocked off with items that needed to be put up. The place was clean at least but they didn't have a lot of selection in my opinion. Was looking for cat related stuff and it was mostly litter and overpriced flea collars.

Cat Vet there is very rude and disrespectful the lady wear glasses . don’t remember her name but she’s not who you want to exam your animal when her attitude is not up to part . i almost told her give me my cat i do not want your services but the lady that was assisting her was very nice and notice her attitude and was trying her best to keep me calm and answer my questions concerning my cat. some of these people should choose a different profession if this is not for you . my opinion customer service is KEY to a running business.
