I have been shopping for years and they have some rewards with some brands. Each time i go it fast, simple, not overwhelming for me to shop when i need something. always received respect and great attitude and attention each time i go there. They keep track of all my purchases (may be common but helpful to share). I also once wanted to try a brand in a larger bag for my dog food. Was not an issue and after few months the owner ended up carrying the brand in large size in the shelves! was awesome. Recommend the local store.

I have been buying all my pet's need in this store for about 4 years. For such a small place, they stock so many different brands. I love to support my local businesses in Sellwood. The new owner is a delight and the store is even more bountiful and friendly!!!

I took a dear friend of mine who has a cat that he only feeds healthy, natural food to this store. It is a really cute, fun store with caring staff. They had a wide variety of healthy food, treats, and fun toys. They carry World's Best natural cat litter that his cat uses. He said it's competitively priced, and they have a buy 10 get 1 free deal…very cool. Definitely, a store worth checking out if you feed your pet natural, healthy food and treats, or you just want to check out a fun store with your pet and get them a new toy.Two thumbs up…👍👍

First Time visiting and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me find really good wet cat food for my cats and offered to order in bulk for me.They also recommended some great food spots when I told them I was new to the area! Definitely will come back!

I love this shop! The staff is very friendly and always take great care of me. They always keep my foster kittens' favorite food in stock and offer advice when I ask for it. They have a great selections of toys, treats and bedding too!

!!!!DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!HORRIBLE OWNER!!!!!!!!!DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!!The owner (Kristen Larson-Bundy) does not care about her employees -- she will fire you out of the blue for no reason. She has an EXTREMELY high turn over rate for the size of the store. I worked there for 2 months and she had fired 4 people and 3 had quit in one day. I was told that it’s been like that for years.Kristen shared my personal information with her "spiritual advisor" whom had no part of her store and someone i never met before. i was verbally abused on the phone by both of them to the point of where i had a panic attack. Then i was fired over text and Kristen gave me no reason for why i was being fired.One day she will want to make you the manager, and the next day will act like she doesn’t like you. She also talks way too much about her personal life to the point where it made me very uncomfortable for my boss to share that much with an employee. Kristen also claims to make donations to local animal shelters from customer's returns, but on many occasions, i found the donations in the dumpster behind the shop.She talks badly about some long term customers as well and told me that "many of them have mental health issues so just ignore them when they come in". If you go to her store, she will mostly likely talk bad about you to someone once you leave. I saw it happen many times. She is a very greedy person who does not respect her customers nor her employees. She only cares about money but tries to have this hippie vibe and "all against 'the man'" persona when in reality, she is operating like a typical capitalistic business who uses people.She needs to learn how to be a better human being overall and i would not give her any more of your money.

This store is packed full of wonderful items. I stopped here to get some CBD treats for my dog and there were so many local options. The staff was friendly and super helpful.

If i could give zero stars i would.This store has a new owner, Thersea.She displayed multiple acts of transphobia and homophobia to her staff publicly and consistently. She also is so closed minded she will give up training her staff before understanding their learning styles, she has been bluntly disrespectful to staff and also has made it very clear that she has no idea how to run a business. She also has no understanding that her employees are actual human beings, a lot which attend high school and she has no regard for that priority. She has gossiped negatively about her employees to OTHER EMPLOYEES. As a business owner, who has a non bias hiring system, your internal thoughts opinions and beliefs should never come out outwardly onto an employee or customer negatively , it is extremely unprofessional, AND DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR, she notices the unhappiness in her staffs and instead of problem solving, she turns their feelings into sarcasm, Not to mention when people leave because they are unhappy, she throws a fit about it like a child. NO NOT WORK OR SHOP HERE!!!comment back to the owner: this isn't jessie, i am someone who is closely connected to a past employee but their information doesn't need to be publicized. Thanks Theresa.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! They have everything you need and are so friendly and helpful. My pup is obsessed too - she would give it 100 stars! bonus points to them for making it so easy to be able to switch from shopping online to local (They even deliver free in the neighborhood!)

Good Food, wide variety, and can do special orders of anything you want. Good, and well knowledgeable staff on all products carried; Supplements, food, treats, and even toys.My problem with this place is the ownership. Other than the knowledge she gives her employees, everything else this woman does is absolutely ridiculous. She switches the stores fixtures around WAY TOO MUCH, even the workers will say so. I'm constantly having to ask where my products have moved to, and I feel that's ridiculous after a long day of work and just wanting to pick up what I need and go.Her employees are either unhappy or their being fired off one by one, because every time I go in I see a new face. Not that that's usually a problem, but for a store as small as this? Its WAY too crowded. If you ask me she should keep on her normal workers and pay them what they deserve and leave off the extra. Probably do her some good, and save her some money.Another thing, shes hardly ever at the shop. The owner is either on vacation or out for the day when you call, and that doesnt seem like a boss of a sound business practice to me.Overall: Great Staff, great selection, amazing knowledge. Bad Management, Small Space, Terrible location for parking.

I had the best experience in this shop the other day! Each of the staff were so helpful and made sure I had everything I needed! For such a small shop I was surprised at the variety they had in stock! Sooo many jackets for all sizes of pups (we left with a super cute one!) Can’t wait to keep shopping here!

The woman who owns and runs it shared a really lovely story about how she's worked multiple jobs in the industry to fully understand pet's needs and dreamed of running a pet store for 20 something years before working up the courage to compete with corporate stores. She's definitely filling a gap that bigger stores neglect: Sourcing and offering more natural/organic products that are healthier and easier on the vet bills long term. She's also a supporter of diversity, inclusivity, and equality. It's a small but mighty place that will warm your heart if you enjoy contributing to family run places that care about the right things!

Great pet store! Has a large selection of both foods and toys. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about pets. I went on a Saturday so they also had someone there trimming nails (who did an amazing job). Thank you very much for everything, I will be coming back!

Great store! I love the Owner and the Staff - great folk who know their stuff and the carry great food, treats, toys and equipment. I get Lotus food here and I love it so they carry it, it's close and they are never out of stock. Even adopted a cat from the Shelter here and he is gone now but was a sweet boy. Come check it out for yourself!

This place has a nice selection of holistic items for your furry friends. However, I would suggest finding somewhere else to go as the lady at the counter was EXTREMELY rude to me. I attempted to ask politely about where I could find a certain product, and she basically told me off with a wave of her hand. I guess she was too busy with whatever she was doing to even care about the customer, even if the customer is nice to them.Not to mention, I was practically shoo'ed out the door after I managed to find the item, no help provided, despite the fact that it was still about 20 minutes before closing. I'm not one for the whole "customer is always right' thing, but my GOD- this was 3 days ago and I'm still annoyed by it.TL;DR: if you value your sanity, do NOT bother.

Staff is always friendly and seem very knowledgeable. One evening myself and several other pedestrians were oggling the cute kitties up for adoption in the window and they actually opened back up (they were closed for the night) to let us in so we could see the kitties up close and personal. Very interested in being a part of the neighborhood and involved in the community.

Love this place. Super helpful. The food they recommended helped my old dog get a lot healthier. Theyll always give you samples of food do try if your shifting to a different food. Great shop with lots of snacks, toys, and pet supplies. Everything you need.

Great, friendly, neighborhood pet store. Emphasis is on natural food, so this place may not be everyone. Staff is very knowledgeable and non-judgmental. If they don't have an item you need, they will happily order it for you.

I went in because my cat is peeing on and marking everything. They were really great at asking questions to see what the root of the problem is and then had a few suggestions for me to choose from. It was really great having such knowledgable people to help ... now let's see if my cat agrees with their suggestion.
