Mud Bay provides a stunning alternative to big-box pet stores. Most of the products are natural-leaning, and some of them (including many of the toys) are even sourced from the Pacific Northwest. The staff is always kind and accommodating; they're great for answering questions! Also, I love that treat samples are usually given out with every purchase.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had a dog sick with cancer, broke down in front of the staff and they comforted me like family. Very cool of them. I split my purchases between here and Broadway Pets to help keep some of the money local, although Mud Bay is a PNW company out of Washington.Great selection of foods/treats and all that jazz, but maybe a tad light on the toy section for dogs (very minor complaint). They do well for an old convenience store location upgraded to a pet store.

My dog loved coming here because they would give her testers and until she passed away, she became completely hooked on their freeze dried lamb liver treats, we ended up buying a large stock as to not run out, ever.I miss coming in here for her to sniff about and picking up something nice for herself, it's fun to watch a dog shop around.

I love the friendly and informative staff here! Shout out to the Sara(h)'s who have helped us with our newly adopted puppy. They offer refillable dog treat buckets for a really great deal. They also have a scale which is helpful to be able to make sure our dogs are maintaining a healthy weight.SHOP LOCAL! It's worth it.

Rex may loves the smell of these cod chips and other wonderful treats based on how long they last in my hand, but man are they powerful! And the added challenge toys to make dining a bit more fun... So good.Great place for exotic treats for your addition to the family.

Up until today I thought this Mud bay was our go to store. When the a person I have never met before took the price tag that the bones were 8.99 off the display and charged 18.99 for a 4 pack of medium bones. I spend easily $300 or more a month there. I have been buying the 18.99 and the 8.99 for 2 years. Pretty sure I know what I buy. We were flat told we were wrong. I called to speak to someone else and immediately she knew what I was talking about. Pretty sure it was the same person who tore the price tag off. On the phone had the nerve to say they were never 8.99. Then what was the 8.99 tag doing in the SAME SPOT I ALWAYS GRAB THE 4 bone bag from.?? Mind you these are small little bones that are WAY over priced anyways. But small local businesses I will spend extra but price jacking, lying and making your customer wrong at all cost you can find someone else to buy your overpriced pack of 4 bones! Gardeners butcher has a way better customer service and price is the same but the bones are HUGE! Go figure!

Really love the staff and proximity in the neighborhood. Offer superior pet foods and toys. Are little over prices on accessories but food is worth it and they give complementary treats! Always treats my Weiner dog well when we come in!

Great service, great selections and a really nice store. You'll find just about everything you need, including a wide variety of specialty pet foods. I personally really enjoy the amount of great pet litters available here, with very helpful testing stations for a variety of their best selling litters.

Mud bay it's self is great, but customer service is key! How you handle your customers they should never leave feeling the way I did. I could go In detail but I shouldn't have to. I'd rather drive an hour away then go to this store. You should seriously think about who you hire. Wish I got his name but never again will I recommend this store.

My trip to Mud Bay was great. I'm traveling and ran out of the food my dog usually eats. My dog was also getting over being really sick, so I needed something for his tender tummy. When I arrived, Blake was extremely kind and helpful. Blake showed me where the food was that I was looking for. I asked about something I could add to entice my picky eater of a dog, and Blake showed me a product called Magic Dust. I was also suggested a bland food called Under the Weather which was perfect for my sick dog. Overall, I couldn't imagine my visit to Mud Bay going better than that.

We get our dog food here. It is great because we can call ahead, they will pull our order and set it aside for us. They hold orders for 2 hours max. Makes it very convenient for a quick pickup. Great during COVID. The people there are also very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful displays and friendly staff. They were prompt to greet and assist. Great conversation - I didn't need a lot of help, but my dog had a great time and I got what I needed. They even brought another sample treat out since my dog didn't like the first one.

Customer service is fantastic. Love walking through here with my puppa (black lab) to find out what's catching his eye on any given lovely day. We left today with a stuffy caterpillar with 3x SQUEEKERS! 2 bags of frozen beef bones, a cat collar (for our feline roommate) and sample treats for each. Can and will be back again and again. Woot woot.

I have had the toughest time finding coats for my two larger odd shaped senior dogs. The staff here went above and beyond to help me. And I did indeed end up with a coat for each, and they both fit! Plus, such a beautiful store. I was on a mission and didn't browse,but I definitely will be back.

Overall the store is greatI The issue I had is that an employee parked their Black Jeep Cherokee in an umarked parking spot blocking access to the disability spot. This issue is exacerbated by the parking spot next to the access hatches being marked for curbside pick up this limits the access of disabled customers. When the employee asked me how my day was going I told them it would be better if the accessibility parking wasn't blocked. They then treated me as if I was the problem. They seemed to try and rush me around the store and it felt like they were annoyed by my existence in the store. Since all other customers had left it was clear this vehicle was one of the employees. It would be great if your staff would stop parking their cars in a way that limits access to disabled customers.

We stop here 1-2 times per month to get our pup a few edible chewy busy-keepers. We appreciate that the store provides a labeling system that IDs every item with its "best matched chewer." We have a Beaver . iykyk

I absolutely love the store! They have so many healthy treat and pet food options for all price ranges. The staff is always super friendly and the store is really well organized which makes shopping easy. My dog gets super excited every time we pull up 😊

Nice place, very nice people. They often give out samples of treats and my pup is addicted to the dried lamb lungs. They sell them by the ounce and it's well worth the couple of bucks a week it costs to vastly improve her "come when called" hearing at the doggy park!

They carry very high quality food and a wide variety of freeze-dried treats, so they are a good resource for pet food that needs to meet special diet guidelines. I get 100% rabbit treats for my cat with IBD, and they carry wet Instinct Limited Ingredient and similar limited recipe foods. I like the way the cat toys are organized by how your cat prefers to play by relating it to animals they'd chase in nature (my cat is a snake chaser, apparently). They're always friendly, and the store is very nicely organized overall.

Shannon from the NE killingsworth location was amazing! This was my first time coming into a Mudbay and it literally was the best experience I’ve had going into a pet store. I will only be shopping at Mudbay for now on. She helped me test out some different canned wet food for my dog and I came back in and bought a whole 12 case. She also hooked me up with some samples of treats which I came back for and the most safe stuff for my pitt to chew on! I am very happy with everything i got and my pup obviously loves me for it. Thank you so much Shannon. Mudbay seems like a great place to work!
