The staff are INCREDIBLE. They are so kind, attentive and welcoming. My dog goes nuts the second we turn down the street. They all genuinely love animals and take the time to get to know your animals. There are plenty of pet stores in Sherwood that carry the food my pets eat, but I gladly drive an hour from 1-2x a month just because the employees are so wonderful. The store is a lot bigger than it looks, organized and they carry a lot of different high quality brands. I could not recommend them enough. What a wonderful store with wonderful, caring genuine people.

This is simply the best pet shop in town! I highly recommend it.All products are ethically sourced and sustainably made, with the highest quality ingredients. But what's even more important to me is how the owners and their staff are incredibly knowledgeable about their products, work to find ones that will suit your pets needs most fully, and give you their full attention. They stand by their products, and in most cases items can be returned if they don't meet your needs. Prices are higher than a big box pet store, for sure, but here you truly get what you pay for. And for me, this is worth it. We purchase items like wholesome supplements and treats, collars and leashes that last for years, and toys that are durable and we get lots of use out of. We always find something new, fun, or useful when we visit, and I feel good about where my $ is going. I even found a doggy seatbelt here! They have everything.And, most importantly to me, the care staff provide is just above and beyond. I have a large bully mix we brought home when he was 2, and after lots and lots of training -- including visiting pet stores like Greendog Pet -- we found that Ferdinand just wasn't comfortable around dogs he doesn't know, and will react to them by barking. For a while I felt so much shame about this -- I wanted a shelter bully who would show the world that his breed didn't make him aggressive, not feed into that stereotype! But the staff at this shop recognized him for who he is, without stigma, and have continually helped us have a fun and safe time in the shop around other dogs. They shower him with love and positive reinforcement, and help us keep an eye on and give space to other shoppers so that we always have a good time. Ferdinand ADORES visits and basically thinks this is "his" shop, with his special friend Charity who we both adore. It's a treat to visit every time.I feel so lucky to have Greendog Pet in town, it's simply the best!

Green Dog is great. They are very friendly and helpful every time we visit! They have lots of healthy treat options for the pups and know their products well. We were able to pick up a cooling vest for our big fluffy dog in hopes of making her a little more comfortable on walks during these hotter months. They helped us figure out sizing and shared some info/reviews about the vest while we were in the store :)

The store is great- good selection of foods, toys, treats and supplements, but the staff here is amazing! They are so kind and knowledgeable. I don’t know how they remember all the doggies, but they sure do- they shower them with so much love too. They are an incredible resource and gift to the community.

I love coming here!!! Very friendly staff, high quality goods for cats and dogs, and free treats!! They also have a rewards program if you shop here regularly. Wide variety of toys, flea and tick treatment, natural supplements, raw food and accessories.. the only downside is that it is expensive

Everyone at this store is friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about what you are looking for and they will give treats to your pet. I found that the dog food is a healthy blend that is much better for my small dog. I really like this place.

Stopped in for bone broth for my dog that was having stomach upset (taking on the prayer position). The staff were exceptional. One staff member (I wish I got her name) was genuinely concerned for my dog & was trying to help investigate what was going on.Very kind & helpful!My dogs feeling much better now. The staff is amazing and goes over and above expectation to help find the best food for your dog. I was given such a generous amount of samples to find the best fit for my very picky puppy. The staff is so lovely socializing with my puppy which is so needed during a pandemic. They have an incredible selection of carefully curated pet supplies as well. It feels good to support a local business. We love our visits to Green Dog!

They don’t usually carry our cat’s dry food, but they will order a bag and have it on hand especially for us to purchase. They have a great selection of healthy treats for our finicky felines. And I appreciate their color-coded shelf reference for phosphate levels in the canned foods.

Love this place. Got recommend to go here by a fellow dog park friend who was having similar issues with their fur baby.They gave great nutrition advice. Were more knowledgeable than my vet. My baby has been doing much better.I went back again and got help with IQ toys for my puppy.They have frequent buyer program as well.Staff is attentive, their is a decent amounts of toy and food options. They have raw food, goats milk, supplements, local goods, and comparable prices to other stores.It is off street parking in a busy area, so expect to park in the neighborhoods. Google takes you to the wrong location. It is directly on the main drag. Among a row of other shops.

Green Dog is awesome. All the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about your pets health, the local community, and the environment. One of the owners, Christine, helped me set up a raw diet for my cat with kidney issues that has prolonged her life. I can't speak highly enough about this place. Check it out, you'll love it too!

My favorite place to shop for my fur babies!Great selection & really reasonable prices. The employees & owner are super friendly & knowledgeable. Plus, I really appreciate they will let you sample a lot of the edible stuff first, & they accept returns. It sucks when you spend a bunch of money on something your animal won't eat. It's also really nice to know it won't go in the trash too (I believe they donate the returns or something).

Recently moved here and went into this store the other day. They have a lot of great options for cats and dogs. They are also very friendly and have a nice and clean facility. A place I would recommend checking out for your furry friend!

Everyone here was very helpful and nice. I had gone through 6 harnesses in a 2 week period. When I went into the store they assisted me fitting my dog with the proper harness and trying them on and seeing which worked the best for taking her on walks since she's so big and strong. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Green Dog Pet Supply is awesome. Their staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. They have the best real dog foods including raw and they have a wide selection of toys and anything else you need for a healthy pup. They helped me get my rescue dog Sadie set up with a healthy diet which helped her gain weight and get healthy after having been a stray. Highly recommend!

Green Dog is a really nice pet supply store. They will listen to you and help you find solutions to your pet-related problems. I have only been here twice so far but they are my new cat food supplier for sure! I previously lived in the Alberta Arts area and I was sad to leave Healthy Pets Northwest (which is amazing) but Green Dog made me feel right at home on day one!

I've been going to Green Dog for a couple of years now, and never once have I had a negative experience. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. It's obvious that they care for animals! From where I live, it's not the closest independent shop, but it is always absolutely worth the drive for their well stocked store and awesome people!

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent healthy pet food, treats, and supplement selection. They helped me get my very allergic pug onto some raw food that she is not allergic to AND is very healthy for her, they were much more helpful than even my vet (whom is wonderful) in that manner. Highly recommend, especially if you have a pet that is allergic, has skin issues, or has been on lots of antibiotics, they will help you find the right food to feed your pet back to health. I have gone to Green Dog for almost 5 years now and consider them not only a wonderful store, but wonderful friends too.

Our sweet nearly 11-year-old dog was diagnosed with cancer and given weeks to months to live. We wanted to do everything in our power to extend her life. The owner and her staff were incredibly helpful and compassionate. They went above-and-beyond in finding the right products (even doing the math on the dosages). Very impressive and comforting.

Better quality of dog food and helpful personnel. Primal duck available sometimes. A few canned food lines. Small store so limited selection but they will attempt to order. Reasonable prices and discounted cans purchased by case. Have grooming but not accepting new clients and have waiting list. Parking lot needs repair. Not an easy in or out to store. Not wheelchair friendly.

This place is great! Christine was really helpful. I'm chiropractor and I like to get natural food for my dog. He's a 13yo Frenchie, which is really old.When I moved here he was apparently allergic to Portland. After 3 visits to a vet he still wasn't much better. Christine was able recommend just the right thing for him.
