Has the best selection for little dogs!! Well they have it all, but I am never hurting for options! I ordered custom sized coats out of their catalog when things were out and got them delivered promptly! Incredibly kind staff (the owner) I think has taken care of me each time I’ve been in and the dog and I always leave happy! Thanks so much good dog PDX! You’re our favorite!

This shop has an indoor dog park! Our dogs love going to the outdoor park, but during rainy, cold, or, most recently, freezing days, this park has been a godsend. You can take your dog during group play for socializing, or a private, 30-minute session if your dogs are less social or just want to play with friends. There's space for them to run, fetch, and it's stocked with toys. Exactly what we need in this rainy town!

I was so excited for any pet store to open in the neighborhood and not only did we get a store we got an amazing neighbor. This place has been such an amazing addition and goes above and beyond just selling dog food. Great products, excellent service and attention to the dogs. We used the park a few times in the winter and will definitely be using it more. We appreciate the water at the nearest outdoor parks. We come at least once a week and dog and owner are thrilled each time.

The owner was so nice to me and my dog and helped me shop around for the right toys and treats to spoil my pup. I am the classic millennial with pets for children and this is a good shop for that kind of mentality!!

Solid spot for dog treats, toys, and supplies! I've stopped by with my dog on numerous occasions and they are always friendly. Sometimes, they even give Kershaw a treat! Thanks, Good Dog PDX!

Good Dog PDX has all of our favorite kitty foods, treats, and toys in their kitty corner! We purchased one cat cave from Good Dog PDX for our cats to share... They loved it so much that we had to come back for a second! The owner is very helpful and kind, and it's clear that he loves furry customers and the community!

Lovely shop! We have been by a couple times with our furbabies, and have been warmly welcomed by Eric and Louis. Even though the shop is called Good Dog, they have a kitty corner! Our kitty Ember loves the large windows, and cat tree they have. A must stop shop for those with dogs and cats! Full of healthy treats, foods and even yummy Swell Dog Gelato!

This place is AWESOME. So thrilled there is a local pet store in this neighborhood now. It has been much needed. They have an awesome selection of every type of pet product you could need. They are very community focused --they will put your dogs photo on their wall! and Eric and Louis are great humans and very helpful.

Love this pet store! A great addition to the Buckman neighborhood. Great indoor play space. Very community minded. The owner built a water station at the Rev Hall dog park which he services everyday.. what a guy! Great store for dogs and cats. 🐕 🐱

Great little local shop! They have a great selection of toys & enrichment feeding tools! Popped in for a few minutes as I had some extra time & so glad I did! Will definitely return when we need more!

I like to rent the indoor dog park to work on training and to arrange private play dates with my pups. This is such a great space and the shop owner is super kind. It is always clean and toys are even provided for your dog to play with. my dogs love coming here!

I'd give less stars, the issue was with one staff member and I didn't want to ruin your otherwise great rating score. I didn't catch his name but he had emo vibes and an abundance of tattoos, particularly on his neck. I attempted to interact with him a couple times but his personality as that of a pile of bricks. He shouldn't be interacting with people, maybe he's great with animals but it's hard to imagine. Your store was filled with high end products and beautifully displayed; your employee was plaid pantry night shift grade.

Our favorite pet supply store and indoor dog park! Perfect for cold rainy days or super hot ones, the air conditioned indoor dog park has all of the toys and balls and water my Sophie could ask for. The entire staff is lovely and clearly love dogs, especially Eric, the owner.

Smallest pet store in the area by far. Owner was rude and unwelcoming. He accused our poor pup of shoplifting HA! because he was sniffing some bones that were on display on the floor. If you dont want dogs sniffing food you have on the floor I suggest finding a better place to put them! Pathetic

I don’t even have a dog and I love stopping by to visit the dogs that come in! Nice people so shop local here. Great location and beautiful store. Love the graphics! Very well equipped and stocked to the ceiling with everything you need - even stuff you didn’t know you need!

What a great, local, independently owned pet shop! The owner was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He had perfect product recommendations for what I was looking for. They also have the cutest toy selection and really well priced harnesses. Can’t wait to bring my pup back in for some doggie gelato! Highly recommend this shop!

Great pet store! Owners are always on site and super helpful. Great selection of specialty foods, supplements & toys that you don't find most places. My senior dog LOVES her new food and has a fresh pep in her step since starting on a their supplements. They also have a fun training/play space in the back that you can reserve by the hour - handy for muddy Portland days!

This is a refreshing and fun pet supply shop in the Buckman neighborhood. I was able to get toys and treats for my dog and my cat. The two mile radius for free delivery is great, I just wish I lived closer! The manager was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and had perfect suggestions for my pets. Had I had more time after my purchase, I would've spent some time on the shop's porch with my pup watching the other dogs go by. Definetly will be back!

I love smaller pet shops that take the time to select only the best for our pets. This shop had the largest bags of freeze dried dog food but mostly only freeze dried food for options or raw food in the fridge. They also have a great assortment of collars, leashes and toys.

What a great specialized dog and cat store with an indoor dog park to boot! For a mere $20 you can rent the space out to have a one-on-one training or play time experience with your dog or for 30 rent it for an hour for extended training or group play date. For those of us with dogs that are still learning how to coexist with other canines this is a blessing. Living in the city we don't often have big backyards or spaces to freely play with our dogs and this gives us a chance to have that bonding time that is so important. Definitely check this place out if you live in Buckman.

Great little shop in the heart of SE Portland. The selection of supplies is top-notch, with many options of toys, only the best foods available and knowledgeable staff. It's nice to be able to shop at a locally owned pet store, supporting good products and good people. Stop in, you won't regret the visit.

We love Good Dog PDX! It's a perfect addition to the Buckman neighborhood and fits in wonderfully. Having a local store that puts good back out into the local community is awesome. Our corgi Meeko loves stopping by on our way home from the dog park for a drink of fresh water and to get pets and treats from Eric and Louis. It's very obvious how much they love and care about animals by how well they treat us and our pup. They're super knowledgeable and are always willing to go the extra mile for us.I highly recommend checking them out next time you walk by!

Paid $30 for an hour of play time. Only stayed for half the time because my dog hurt her foot (not the facilities fault) my dog who isn't able to go to the dog park with other dogs was able to run around and get her energy out off leash for the first time since I got her 2 years ago.Will definitely book time to go again... Very reasonable pricing also!!

This is a great business that fits perfectly here in the Buckman neighborhood. The space is clean, attractive, and inviting. It also has some cool personal touches like the small mural handpainted on the wall. The shelves are full of products that are healthy for pets and the proprietor is very knowledgeable about them. The owner clearly really enjoys it when people come in with their pets and he's great at helping them pick out products that are suited specifically for their pets. I highly recommend checking out Good Dog PDX.
