Sorry yall, I usually love me a Salvation Army but this place is out of their mind on the pricing. It seemed like everything I picked up had a special “boutique” tag on it that was in some cases at, and most cases, above retail/ebay price. And of course none was a marked down tag color. Stores like this really suck the joy right out of thrifting.

I got so many high end pieces (Uniqlo, Banana Republic, etc.) for 50-75% off! Excellent sales, quality merchandise, great location and friendly folks. ✌🏼 ❤️ & charity

Like the others have all stated. This has to be Americas worst ran thrift store. I’ve been all over and never seen the greed by a manager that I witnessed here. I found a fleece jacket that the manager rudely yanked out of my hands and proceeded to walk over and look up jackets on eBay and then comes back to me and raised the tagged price by $20. This is ridiculous and this is why we continue to see the closing of small town thrift stores. Aren’t these stores supposed to help the needy and less fortunate. Please do not support this kind of behavior. The lady that runs this place will eventually run this store into the ground with these prices. Any thrift store that bases there prices off of eBay listings is disgusting and greedy and especially one that yanks clothes out of customers hands and rudely raises the price at a moments notice. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE IF YOU CARE ABOUT COMMUNITY!!!!

Today was the first day I took my four-year-old son he was a little fishy to this water park. I was a little disappointed in the fact that it looks much bigger from the outside, it was still in my opinion a little better as in Walla Walla because there aren't too many rules the only reason I gave four stars is that I cut myself on my foot there was something sharp in the pool. And there were a group of older boys that should have gotten in trouble but did not until the moment we left. If you are an out-of-towner it is definitely affordable and fun for the family.

I love thr colors coded %50 off items. I'm able to score really good items for %50 off the marked price!! Spent $7 (total) on a Nautica men's jacket or over coat AND a Bucks sweater. Ba-BAM!

I was shopping at the Salvation Army Store several years ago and overheard the store manager bragging that the Pendleton store was in the same sales league as the Medford store. What?! Pendleton has nowhere near the wealth as Medford. The prices are now outrageous. I contacted the Major here, who oversees the Salvation Army programs, and asked him why prices were so high. He got defensive and said that they paid for their programs. I pointed out that the prices rapidly escalated after the new manager came on and asked about keeping the costs reasonable for people on a budget, but he didn't care - he was pleased with the revenue. Now this is the last place I look for things.I am so very pleased that the Community Thrift Shop opened up and wish them a long future in Pendleton, b/c they are not only serving themselves, but also helping the community.

I love the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Many complain about the expensive prices, but they do not shop the colored tags as the prices go down. I shop the tags, which change every Monday. I do not buy full price. I only buy items at 90 percent, and 75 percent off. For example, they may have a pair of cowboy boots marked at $50, but I only buy them when 90 percent off, so I only pay $5 for them. Much of their items are over priced. They have a lady there who prices things like everything is a treasure, and the prices freak people out. Why buy a used shirt for $5, lets say, when you can buy a new one on clearance at Walmart for $2. They actually price Dollar Store items at about $3. Who in their right mind would pay that much, when the Dollar Store is across the street. Moreover, the sorting, and pricing of items is done out in the public areas of the store, and it makes the place look trashy. It used to be done in an area that is used for bigger items now. The room, that used to be for holiday stuff is full of stored items, that need processed now too. The reason for this I can understand...to help customers, and volunteers while sorting and pricing, but it causes the place to look crowded and trashy, as soon as you walk into the store. If they want to process donations up front around customers, they need to move the back wall items by the rest room out of the way, and at least do it in the back of the store, not right up front, please. Finally, my friend, Mrs. Turner has worked there for 40 years perhaps, and she and the girls who check a person out are the kindest sales clerks ever. It is a joy to have their kindnesses, when you fork over your payments.Thank you.

They were very nice and friendly. If you hit the sales, they are extremely affordable as well. Otherwise, some things are priced a bit higher than I would like. Overall, a good store to check out if you are looking for bargains.

OVER PRICED! They would make more money, sell more, and be able to sort their new inventory that is ALWAYS stacked up if the manager wasn't constantly on her phone looking up ebay prices! This is supposed to be a THIFT STORE, not where USED donated items cost more than if purchased NEW.The staff is always friendly, but the prices are CRAZY!

Prices are ludicrous for a thrift store meant to help people. Not sure if the blonde woman with the bangs is a manager but someone needs to humble her. This is. NOT A VINTAGE THRIFT STORE, yet she will sit there walking around on her phone looking up brands of things in order to be able to price them higher. I’m not sure how she’s in the position she’s in at Salvation Army with such a greedy mindset. $16 for a plain blue tshirt? Are you kidding me? You should be ashamed of yourselves, some have to rely on second hand stores in order to clothe themselves! Disgusting location.

Not bad after skimming over the usual crap I then found some nice items. I found a signed print by a known artist and my wife found some dishes that match a set she already has. All in all not a bad experience after all they have no control on what they have in there stores. If people donate crap then that is what they have to sell.

Prices are higher than Goodwill. About the same selection available but The Salvation Army has more of a selection of household items like washer and dryers, mattresses, sheets, etc. It's all about what you're looking for and what you're willing to pay.

Such a polite staff... Quality merchandise, with by far the best prices I've seen come from a second hand store. Very Recommended!!

SUPER OVER PRICED!! OMG. It's a thrift store. It's a store of cast offs, yet things are priced as if new. I asked why and the manager told me it was to stop people who sell on ebay! Then she goes on to explain that they wanted that profit margin, and didn't want the ebayers to make it. Ok. So what about the average person? Whatever. Screw Salvation Army. More like Starvation Army.

Friendly staff; very reasonable return policies; good system for picking up bulky items after purchase. They work very hard at keeping their inventory clean and organized, despite the inherent challenges.

Overpriced on their items, they are playing the name brand game. Good selection, but overpriced for used items.

They give great donations in Pendleton, and Prices drop every week by 25% and every month up to 75% off sales. 100% of the revenues go back to help people in this Community. Great for everyone.

It is well on its way to becoming organized. SOME items are way over priced for being donated things... however it goes to feeding people so it's great!

I shop the color of the tags. Most things I buy are 90%off. That is the way to go, if you find prices too high. There is also 75, 50, 25% off items. The color of what is on sale changes on Mondays.
