Would like to rate 10 stars. The great food was cooked fresh for our order. The service was excellent and even got a chance to visit with them. We are not from the area I'm definitely going to be stopping by the next time I am in town.

I really wish that there was a manager present that would actually train the employees. Ever since this place got new owners they have been extremely slow. It shouldn't take 45min for fast food. Tonight I ordered a 5pc chicken tender meal, cheese curds, a shake and 1 rootbeer. I was handed my shake first (which for some reason they always give you your ice cream first even in the middle of summer so that your ice cream is melted by the time you get your food). Then awhile later I was handed my food and then asked "did you get your rootbeer?" I said no so he went to get it and proceeded to set the cup down to let the foam down and he walked away. Then he proceeded to help take orders at the counter. I'm still in the drive thru honking my horn trying to get my root beer and go home. I honk....wait....honk...wait. Then he proceeded to fill the food orders. I had to get out to knock on the window to ask if I could have my damn root beer! Every time I go here it pisses me off. Not sure why I keep supporting this place.

Update: 3/2024 still slow. 20+minutes for the drive through. Need better managementUpdate: service is still slow, quality is poor. Waited in drive thru for 25 minutes, one other car in front. Two orders: fries were extra salty, and both burgers were saltier than the fries.Original: Service has gotten slow, and quality has lessened. Not what it was under previous management...

Went through the drive through and ordered with no response so I sent my son in to make sure they heard us. They didn’t so he placed the order. When we got to the window to pay they still didn’t have the order my son placed;( 3 teens were in the window area screwing around! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. 23 minutes in the drive through and still nothing!

Love this place! I decided to come down here and eat with my little girls & parents. My mom had came here when she was just a little girl herself, it's always been nice. I'm glad the people there working are so polite too. They have great food & the best root beer floats!!

Was on the way home. Wife and I stopped in to get some A&W diet root beer, cheeseburger and a Papa burger. Started on the way home. Wife opened the bag and found out I only got a single cheeseburger not a Papa burger. Too far away to turn around and go back. Otherwise the food was really good. Sign on the window said people were training so I'll give some leeway there.

Waited inside, at the counter, 16 minutes for a polar swirl & hot fudge sundae! We were the only customers when we ordered. Then, 4 teenagers and a family of 8 came in. The kid making the ice creams made like 4 polar swirls BEFORE doing ours. Then, when asked if we were still waiting and telling him yes, the cashier kid got an attitude but finally made ours.

Very excellent service. The manager here is the model for how managers should treat employees and customers. She took very good care of us as we had to wait a longer time for our order. She gave us free drinks and fries with our burgers and ice cream. Our burgers were perfectly cooked and prepared. The cooks even added extra cheese to the burgers and the flavor was phenominal. I love having a good fast food joint close to home. It is a place definitely worth going to again and again.

The Nyssa A&W is the best one in all our area of towns. They take care when putting the food together. Never sloppy. Plus the kids there are great. Wish Ontario A&W was like Nyssas. I'd rather make the drive to Nyssa than get thrown together food. Good job guys!

Great milkshakes, drive-thru service is awesome. The staff here are friendly and a pleasure to do business with.They always have service with a smile. At the moment they are the only true fast food drive in that Nyssa has, but they are good burgers for the price.They had someone run into their barrier pole, speaker and almost hit the sign. Hit the gas instead of the break.. lol

It took a long time to get my order. The combo meals i ordered were supposed to come with onion rings. They gave me fries. There was a large number of flies buzzing around in the place. The burgers were great when we got them.

This is one of the best fast food restaurants! My Fiancé and I have joked about a date to A&W. But we were floored when we were hungry and we jokingly said A&W... I had the Double Mushroom Swiss and Kim had the Chill Cheese Dog. Both were Cooked fresh Hot and amazingly delicious. I went back for a second one Double Mushroom the next day and I live in Meridian! Nice Staff like I said no reheating cooked fresh, it reminded me of fast food when I was a kid. So Goooood! Stop in or just drive to Nyssa for a fun night out. Great root beer too.

This is one of the best A&W locations. This place retains the retro charm and original drive in feel that the chain is well known for. Nyssa has a great small town charm to it as well that adds to the ambiance at this location. Service is great and foods are all cooked to order so while this adds a small amount of time waiting the food is well worth the price and the wait. The burgers are very well done and have burger shop flavor. Well worth a stop.

Don't like doing that,but I ordered 2 chicken sliders meal,and they give me a crispy chicken sandwich. Told them 3 times it was to go, but still put it on a tray for sine in. Drive thru had a wait as well. Seen a couple customers drive off with unhappy faces. Still the root beer float was delish.

My chicken sandwich took almost 10 minutes to prepare. The guy said it was because they hand-bread and fry the chicken fresh. Well, it was definitely worth the wait though!!

I rarely eat out but when I do, A&W is always a special treat. The ingredients are “fresh” and the service is excellent; they even remember my senior discount if I forget so the wait is acceptable. My order is always correct and delicious!

I love this A&W. There sriracha cheese curds are amazing, and their root beer floats are great! I have had good customer service. I sometimes takes longer to get my food than other fast food, but totally worth it, because you can taste that it was freshly made. Ee have always had a good experience here!🍟

Food isn’t bad. It’s about what you’d expect from the establishment. However, service can be incredibly slow. 6 minutes of sitting at the drive through intercom before someone took our order. Not many other options in the town for quick cheap food though.
