This is a fun little ice cream and candy shop. Definitely worth checking out. They can make milkshakes with any flavor of their hard scoop ice cream. They only accept cash, there is a cash machine inside if you don't have cash.

One of the many candy stores in Newport, this one is across from the seals in the harbor. It serves Umpqua and Tillamook branded ice cream and it isn't that expensive. The only issue is they accept cash only.

There was only one young girl working on a busy Saturday afternoon, which I understand with everywhere being short-staffed, but she was really nice and did a great job. The ice cream selection is good, lots of choices but my Italian soda was just Sierra Mist and syrup. I asked about it and she said that's just how they make them. I was also curious and honestly a little skeptical about the white chocolate dog treats they had for sale. There is a cute little gift shop inside, and I agree with what another review said- they are cash only and have an ATM on site that charges $2.

They only accept cash and they “conveniently” provide an atm so they can make a few extra bucks off of you. Its super shady to corner customers like that. We left and found a different ice cream shop. The atm is also where the line is so no privacy.

The young person at the counter seemed nice enough but the taffy here is horrendous. It was simultaneously flavorless and cloyingly sweet. And this is true for pretty much all of the flavors- I got a mixed bag. The one that was the most “flavorful” tasted like a candle (“snozzberry”). For $10 a bag I’d rather spend that money on gas or groceries.

Had a scoop of the caramel cold brew ice cream and probably the best ice cream I've ever had. I've been craving it ever since. Good stuff. Wasn't busy yesterday when we were there. Young lady working was super friendly and helped us out with a thank you. No complaints at all.

Horrible customer service. First off she got our order confused. How is one chili dog and one plain dog hard to get. Not rocket science. When the server handed us ourfood half of the order was missing had to send him back. The female cashier proceeded to interupt me and argue with piss poor attitude abd the server dared asked me not to make a scene. Considering that adamn mcdonalds would havebeen cheaper and better customer service. I am seriously dissapointed in this place. Both as a normal eat stop and as a tourist attraction DOODLEBUGS NEEDS HELP NEVER GOING AGAIN.

I don't know who it was exactly but the lady who is working today ( jun 16 2022) was super nice and I really think you should go and check this place out they have amazing ice cream and other things if you stop by here I recommend this place

Good ice cream- THE WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced.Went in today for ice cream, had my dog with me, asked the girl working behind the counter if it was okay if she came in (completely being fine if she weren’t allowed but wanted to check) and she gave me a filthy look and said “I guess”... I responded with “are you sure”, she just continuing to stare me down and no response. Picked up my dog and went over to order. She was disinterested in helping my friend and I and seemed like it was such an inconvenience we had walked into the store. Asked for a cone with vanilla and she dead eyed went and got it. Then when I asked if they had any rainbow sprinkles she sassily laughed and said “um no”.Honestly, seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. Was disinterested, cold and plain rude. Had her phone out on the counter so I must’ve interrupted her texting, that’s a valid reason to be a horrible server- right?!Hands down the worst customer experience I’ve ever had and WILL NEVER COME BACK.

Great customer service, also the best fudge and ice cream in town by far. I had a rainbow sherbet shake and for later peanut butter crunch bar!!!!!!! They where both to die for.
