Very charming corner of the beach with great views and quick beach access. There is a market within walking distance which has firewood, snacks, hygiene products, and much more. The only downside are the walls are thin and neighbors to all sides can be heard. For reference at home we are in the first floor of an apartment and can hear more at this inn than at home. Otherwise, it is a lovely accommodation for getting away and enjoying the ocean.

We stayed at WISH YOU WERE HERE and we didn't have any service so can't exactly rate that! We had a code to get into room and that is very nice. However it's a long code! Just an observation it would be nice to have it personalized to the individual. One place had it as the person renting used their phone number. Yes I guess it might be a hassle and extra work on staff! But just a thought 💭. The room was comfortable and they had a full suite for the bedroom with full bathroom and they could lock their door from living room and kitchen, and had their own outside door. However I think someone said you can leave through the door but had to use main entrance to get back in. Everything was cute and very cabin beach house like, a little outdated maybe but their was something that made it even more cozy. The balcony was very nice with four chairs and the view was mostly bay although you could see some waves and breakers off to the left. So it was a nice ocean view as well just not what we expected! I think if you want ocean view especially make sure and look for ocean view expressly... But calling would be best. Which we didn't do! It was fun and lovely! I love the ocean there it's so clean and private; feels like a well kept secret. We ate in Lincoln city and spent one night so we got up and went to the first breakfast place in Lincoln city. Right after post offices, Garden something anyway great view of a river. Lovely place. We went home after.

Wish you were here! Room #327. 1 bdrm 2bath. The bedroom has its own bath and theirs a Murphy bed in the living room really warm and cozy. We stayed in the Murphy bed so we were able to hear the ocean. We had the fireplace on most of the night so when we went to bed it was very warm and cozy. Windows open to hear the ocean and really nice sleep. Comfortable bed for being a Murphy bed. Nice view of the bay and not too distant oceans view. Sitting on the deck last night couldn't see anything too dark but the morning view and coffee was great! They have everything you need. nice text messages letting you know that early check-in was possible and it was about an hour and a half learly welcome you and an another message asking you to rate cleanliness. Then a check out message asking to tap it to let them know when you have checked out! Also pin codes to get you in the front door. They have an exit door in the bedroom but im not sure if you can get back in through that door. Beautiful stay, quaint, cozy cottage feel a little bit outdated, but perfect for what it is. Everything was clean. Cute decor. Inexpensive for what it is.

The rooms are quite nice. Key codes were great and simple, no keycard required. Clean and well furnished right on the beach. Id recommend top floor only. Theres a problem with the construction of the building. I believe that my ceiling and the floor of the next person above us was the exact same piece of wood. I could hear everything they did every little coin that they dropped out of their pocket. I could hear each footstep in fine detail. Unfortunately we lost a lot of sleep because the tenants were bad. I doubt they're going to tear down the building and put in a new one so stay at the top level and everything should be fine. If you don't mind missing sleep then go for one of the lower levels.

We found this place on accident just trying to find a beach to hang out on for a few hours. We had two dogs with us, had been attempting to camp along the coast for 3 days prior, and were struggling to find campsites. Every hotel, motel, and Inn were fully booked. Not to mention national forest land was all was closed off. This was the happiest accident ever! Small room, but perfect for us. We weren't there to sit in a room anyways. We scored the last pet friendly room. Clean, microwave, comfy bed, coffee maker, tv, and just 5 minute walk to a fantastic beach. There is also a restaurant, a store with a cafe, and a laundry room. The gal in the office, Kim, was so very kind and had a wonderful bubbly personality. I absolutely will stay here again in the future! Thanks for the great stay for my birthday.

We had the best time for 3 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The room was super clean and adorable. They are very pet friendly as well. We had our 2 dogs and saw a dozen others that were staying there too. Tip the housekeeper, she does a great job.

My family and I LOVE this place. The beach access is perfect, with a wonderful beach and creek my kids played in all fay, without the dangers of the ocean, but the ocean is right there too with amazing views and tons of room to explore. Barely any people/crowds, giant beach with lots of room and few people, plus the condo was perfect, the people were nice, the area is great, especially if you like to be a few minutes away from all the busy-ness and the people, this place is perfect. 10-15 minutes to Lincoln City but also the little store on site has basically anything you would need, plus the restaurant is great and the condo had most things we needed already.We haven't even left yet but I plan to speak to the people in the office when we do leave about our next stay.

No breakfast but there's a small cafe that's good and a mini market with your basic meal needs. My family and I stayed in 2 rooms that are connected. Room #128 and 128C. 128 has a pullout bed, and a full kitchen with a patio. Pretty nice. There are some spots that didn't look very clean and a note from the previous renters to the cleaning staff that they found a condom behind the bed. We also found sand on our futon bed. Overall, I think we will come back when we are in the area again. The rooms are very furnished so I'm sure it's hard to clean.

We've stayed here many times and always enjoy it. Most recently we found out when we arrived that our room was moved from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor, which was disappointing. Still a great stay and wonderful beach to visit.

I’m normally not the one to make reviews, especially poor ones. We’ve been renting from proposal rock inn for many generations so it hurts in a way to write this but after being told to not come back to Proposal Rock Inn things need to be said, for someone to say they have “15 years in customer service” & to be treated the way we were is not okay. My great grandparents owned a condo for many years, we’ve rented every summer as a family reunion. Our first complaint was that our apartment was not clean whatsoever, we thought to have mold on our very bent blinds appeared to be paint chipping. No mini fridge and microwave like pictured in my the photos, so we lost out on bring groceries since theres only one restaurant and market its nice to have the availability for food especially when expecting those accommodations. We voiced our concerns and she told us she would get try to get some money of the bill... After Day 1 we received no more towels, we needed more since we took them for the beach (we travel from MN so we cannot bring much for a stay) after asking she gave us 2, we stated we had 3 guests... so we took the initiative to locate our own towels which in her eyes we stole (yet, never left the room, count them up there all there, why steal to fit in our carry on, beats me) After calling after a couple days being gone, she tells us “you have the audacity to call after stealing towels?” Great customer service 👍🏽 I’ve always recommended Proposal Rock Inn to all my family and friends and sadly cannot stand by that anymore. Like the 1 stars below, I agree with everything stated. This place will lose more clientele if this is your choice of customer service. Listen to the 1 star reviews.

This is a group of condos which are pooled into a "hotel." They no longer have a central management company, but you can find a lot of the units on Airbnb, VRBO, or other rental sites. Each unit is owned individually so they could be vastly different. The overall complex is clean and well maintained. We stayed in unit 327, which looks to have been recently renovated and was perfect for us. Nice views of the stream and ocean. Enjoy dinner at the one restaurant nearby, the Hawk Creek Cafe. Great breakfast just up the road in Pacific City at Greatful Bread.

Quiet location. Wonderful beach access but our no smoking room smelled like an ashtray.Returned just yesterday. We got the same room by choice and no funny smells. Very accomodating place to stay. I love that we can choose which room to rent on their website and best of all we can afford it. Now for the cofee...check that you have enough filters before the office closes, but if you forget the manager is easy to get a hold of.

Great experience ! Booked our room a year in advance for our anniversary and the solar eclipse and the rates were very reasonable. Saw on the news that all the other hotels on the coast were jacking up their rates and cancelling reservations so we called them and they assured us they would not do anything like that ! We had room 131 which is a very cute studio and with a full kitchen and a great ocean view . Amazing stay! Don't expect a luxury hotel because this is a beachy cottage type feel which is awesome. No real complaints but maybe the wifi slows way down during peak hours . Get more bandwidth ;) .

Some rooms are updated nicely, some not as much, but still a favorite place to stay. The beach is relatively quiet to spend time on, though ever changing by storms. I really love this small town and all of it's amenities.

This was legitimately the worst place I have ever stayed. And I have stayed in my fair share of cheap, run-down motels. From the very beginning, even while attempting to book a room, the staff was rude and abrasive. I could easily overlook that. But the place itself was simply awful. It was unclean, loud, and a dust heaven.As soon as we walked into our room, my girlfriend and I had allergic reactions. We could literally see dust floating around and kicking up from nearly every surface in the room. It genuinely seemed like parts of the room had not been cleaned in years. With every cabinet we opened, a new cloud of dust greeted us.After being greeted by dust and general filth, we then found two mystery pills on the floor. They were just sitting there in plain sight. This was particularly alarming since we had our dog with us. The mystery pills were the icing on the monster cake for this place. It demonstrated so clearly this place's lack of cleaniness and sanitation. Had it been thoroughly cleaned - or cleaned at all - these pills would have been readily discovered.Within minutes of staying at this location, it triggered a migraine. Because of that, I sought a refund and we had to head home from a vacation that had just started hours ago. When I attempted to get a refund, Donna at the front desk tried to charge me for one night (even though I had only been there for about two hours). She told me my migraine and allergies "were on me." It took me confronting them about just how awful our (very brief) stay was for them to issue a reluctant, argumentative refund.I know plenty of people are dramatic in their reviews, but from the bottom of my heart, PLEASE, for your own sake, do not stay here. This was the truest one star experience I have ever had. It's not worth the high price tag - or any money at all.

I had a pretty big issue with the Hotel. I personally respect the hell out of the management. They acknowledged fault and made it right in a big way. 5 starts for customer service, 5 stars for the price and the rooms, and 5 stars for the view, and beach experience. I really appreciate Donna and Luke for making it right. I will continue to be a customer for many years to come! I have rented from every place in Neskowin, and Proposal Rock Inn is by far the best. I had a issue with Grey Fox Rentals and they insulted and threatened me instead of owning up. If you're staying in Neskowin. Proposal Rock Inn is the place to stay!!

Interesting little place. Arrived at 5:05 pm and the office was closed until the next day. Our key was hanging on the wall in an envelope with our name for all to see with the wifi password. No coffee pot or blow dryer and the rugs were damp, I am thinking they had just been cleaned as there was a "For Sale" sign in our window. I am not sure but I think people own these rooms for rent and sell them eventually. We had people stomping upstairs and awful noises beside us, the walls seem pretty thin. People constantly walking past our window as there was a party somewhere in the complex. There is a little Bistro nearby which was great and the beach is not far. Wifi was not good. Keys on the wall did give us a laugh but scary also. Anyone could have taken the key, taken the tv, etc., destroyed the room and we would have been charged for it, not very safe!

We own unit 129 and love going to relax at the beach! I love coming to Neskowin because I feel like it is a well kept secret, not a lot of traffic, nothing touristy , just cute houses and of course Proposal Rock Inn which has many units you can rent. It also has a wonderful restaurant, closed on Tuesday and a well stocked grocery store with a great wine variety. They also make sandwiches and have Tillamock ice cream .Starting around July there is a par 3 golf course within walking distance. Beautiful scenery as you golf. Very reasonably priced too!

It is a inexpensive warm dry place to sleep. Anything more and it would have to be more expensive. A note, if not renting a suite, then you're more than likely renting a room adjoining a suite and subject to the noise level of that suite. Otherwise it was a positive experience, and on a budget I would stay there again.

Love this place. Stunning view, homelike rooms, and the local staff made us feel truly welcome. There's even a cat to keep you company. My aunt of 93 was asked to choose her favorite place for the family to meet, and she picked the Proposal Rock Inn.

I stayed here a while ago and was shocked with how bad it was. I was looking for a simple, cozy place to rest at day's end during my Oregon Coast trip. Instead, I got a hostile interaction from the front desk and manager and a dust-ridden room that was not clean at all. I would highly NOT recommend this place.

Very sweet and cute little independently owned Condominiums and also part of proposal Rock Inn. Some of the units are privately owned and rent it out through VRBO and Craigslist wow some of the units are ran by proposal Rock in itself. They had a great little market next door and little places to eat. They do have stairs though which could be a drawback if you're older. They also have washers and dryers so you're able to wash your clothes or towels whatever. It's great though because you have a great view of neskowin Creek in the mouth of it go into the ocean so you're right they're not skipping away right from the beach.

Extremely small room with no table and chair to sit at if you want to do any work. There were a couple small hugs in the bed. Office isn't open in the evening so if you arrive after they close you'll find your room key in an envelope tacked to a bulletin board outside the office. They don't even have any coffee in the rooms or the office. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room, but but there was an old school bottle opener.

It was a nice stay, but the reason im giving them a 2 star review is because of an employee. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder about politics and his job and he wouldnt quit talking to me about it. I would normally just sluff this kind of thing off, but not when my family is your audience. The managers weren't in that day so I was only able to leave a note. If anyone reads this, I recommend avoiding the employee named lou.Aside from that, I really enjoyed the room and how much was provided for my family and I during our stay. It was short distance to the beach. if you can, i recommend to anyone wanting a view that you should stay at the south end of the building.

It is a very nice area. However the new management at Proposal Rock Inn leaves quite a bit to be desired. Patronizing and snobbish are the words that come to mind. Apparently they don’t realize they represent an aging property in an out of the way area. Previous management was much more pleasant and down to earth. Such a shame. Save yourself the trouble and stay next door.

Sad old representation of proposal rock, no memories here that i would share except dont stay here. Dirty expected refund or credit with complaints none offered. Guess i have wasted 153.oo in other sad times of my life chalk it up to learning experience. Room 223 and 223b thank god they added 223b it actually had a bathroom that looked like it had been cleaned. Other main bathroom no trash bag dirty hairy tub with mat still in it old soap dried in sink and no towels. Fire the house keeper she sucks. I shared my bad experience with those i work with so they never waste their money. I will continue to share cuz i appreciate those that share great places. Good bye and good luck

loved the fact that we could get a room at 6 pm on a thursday night so that we could boogie board the next day. Guy was friendly, lent us boards, room had an ocean view and a little kitchen. It worked great for us. Wifi was nice too.
