Jason was great at working with me and my 4-month-old duck-tolling retriever, and I noticed improvements with my pup within a few days. Jason really listened to what my specific needs were and tailored our hour session to those needs while also kindly pointing out any concerns he saw with my interactions with my puppy. While I was able to teach my puppy some basics by watching online videos, my private lesson with Jason really helped me learn some better approaches to training and improved my confidence in my ability to train my energetic pup. I would highly recommend Jason's training sessions, even if you think you know what you're doing or have raised a dog before.

Jason is an exceptional dog trainer with the knowledge and skills to help you with anything you’re looking to achieve with your training. Most dog trainers I’ve worked with specialize in just one area, either standard obedience or behavior modification. Jason is one of the few who can help you with both. I went to him for help with Bear, my fear reactive/aggressive cane corso, and started to see major improvements after just one week of following his advice. Unlike the other trainers I’ve seen who take the one-size-fits-all approach to behavior mod, Jason is effective because he considers each individual dogs genetic predisposition and temperament before offering a realistic strategy that sets you and your dog up for success. As for obedience training, I’m two sessions in starting on some more advanced obedience work, and I intend to keep working with him on that since his knowledge in that department seems to be endless.

Chubbs and I had our first personal session with Jason yesterday, at one point in that hour my reactive dog was sitting so good right by me with his undivided attention on me. It made me laugh because I was in disbelief! Most of the things Jason taught me I thought I already understood from watching clips from dog trainers on YouTube, but I was doing some things wrong. Jason changed our lives in one visit and the results are ongoing just after a short couple of weeks.I'm a dog mom to two adolescent large breed dogs. I walk them daily, but my Dalmation Lab mix would pull through any collar I used. He loves obedience training off leash, but as soon as I put a leash on him, it was like walking a yo-yo. I knew I was doing something wrong and sure enough, there were some key details we were missing.I've worked with several trainers over the years, but it's very difficult to find one that actually explains canine behavior in detail before starting the 'lesson' of the day. At which point during the lesson, Jason also takes the time to explain how to 'mark' the correct behavior and reinforce so you and your dog become a 'team'.We also worked on 'recall' as my 16 month old pup was about 80%. Jason gave me some tools to also reinforce and work on "off-leash" trust when out in the real world.I couldn't be happier to have met Jason and look forward to continuing our training.

It has been one week since our private lesson and I’m very happy with the results. I have worked with two dog trainers and I prefer Jason’s approach, especially with leash handling. After improving leash handling, other parts of our walk fell into place. His approach is much more practical and realistic than that of the other trainer I’d worked with, which I needed. I now feel more confident walking my very large dog with a growing pregnant belly. If I feel my dog needs more training, I’ll be sure to come back!

Jason is absolutely fantastic. We took our 7 month old dog to Jason’s four week basic training class. I highly recommend it. Jason is passionate, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. You can tell he cares, wants to be there, and knows his stuff.We were able to implement many of the things that Jason taught in a short period of time with our dog. The other stuff we are still working with, but the results are there. Jason’s class provided us with many “a-ha” moments and made it apparent that he knows dogs. He explains the methodology and psychology behind his training in a digestible form.Jason was kind and answered some questions my wife and I had about our other dog at home. In addition, our pup was experiencing some anxiety problems around certain people. Jason took the time to walk through some steps and a plan with us. We were able to implement it and now our dog is getting much better being around people he was previously afraid of.I can’t recommend Jason enough. Go see him. You must be willing to put in the work, but his training is highly effective. If you’re tired of having dogs that you can’t figure out why you can’t “train” them then you need to see Jason at Prodogz.

Jason is an absolutely fantastic person and trainer. My partner and I brought in our Hound and explained our (then current) behavioral issues to Jason. I have worked with Jason for several years with different dogs. I breed and show Dobermans in conformation, obedience, and work with Therapy Dogs. I have taken Jason's Basic Obedience with both of my intact males and then moved on to more advance work. I have successful competed and earned an AKC Companion Dog and Rally Advance on my 6 year old male and now working with Jason to compete with my 3 year old male. What I appreciate about Jason is his vast knowledge of how the dogs mind works and is very mindful in explaining why you need to engage the way he is asking you too. Aside from that he is fun and a passionate lover of dogs!
