Choosing a puppy to join your family may be a big or little decision...for us it was big. We looked for a solid 2.5 years and the decision to go with Abbott Family Farm was one of the best we've ever made. I can say a lot about Lana and her family as far as being available, communicative, helpful, knowledgeable, flexible, etc. I can say a lot about their Farm about being responsible, sustainable, rare and wonderful, etc. But I didn't want to really drop a review until we had our little puppy home for a while to see how the actual dogs are! She's amazing. (All puppies are a ton of work let's be honest) but she is pure joy, smart, healthy, beautiful, and just so much fun. It is so obvious she was born into a lovely environment and family--both her canine parents and her human ones. A++ to this family, their farm, and their doggies.

Farmhouse Teas (by St. Fiacre's Farm)

We added a Great Pyrenees from this farm and love our Big Dog so much! He is gentle and loving and puts those chickens right back where they belong. After 2 other tries with puppies we finally found the right pooch for us here at Abbot Family Farm. Great to work with. We also took our milk goat to be bread there and now have 2 cute baby goats. Very happy with this farm!

I am over the moon about the mini aussiedoodle puppy I purchased from Abbott Family Farm. My pup is currently 5 months old. She has been incredibly easy to train. She is healthy, friendly, affectionate, smart and basically displays all of the characteristics I was hoping for when I researched and chose this designer breed. I put down a deposit many weeks before my puppy was ready to come home and I was sent photos, videos and other updates regularly. I picked her up in person and the process was seamless. I highly recommend this breeder. My puppy comes from one of Paprika's litters.

We enjoyed our visit to Abbott Farm! The goats, sheep, chickens and dogs were all happy roaming together. The LGD we took home was such a sweet, healthy girl. She adjusted so well to her new herd!

We got an LGD pup "Gus" in September, and we are in love. He's definitely a puppy, but he's gentle, respectful, trainable, and such a happy guy. I was pleased with Abbott's health testing and commitment to quality care for mamas and pups. Thank you! We'll be back in 18 months for number two!

the Abbott family farm is wonderful. we were lucky enough to get one of their livestock guardian dog pups. she is an amazing working dog and so sweet with our kids. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality LGD.

We were looking for a livestock guardian for our herd of goats and just so happened to go visit our goat breeder and fell in love with her pup. She told me about the Abbott’s and we were so fortunate to have found them and been able to get one of their pups. I talked with them about what we needed for not only our herd, but our family as well and we couldn’t be more pleased! Our boy is doing absolutely fantastic at his job and also loves our kids! Thank you, Lana, for answering all of my many questions! We are so pleased with our pup!! ❤️

This review has been a long time coming! I used to buy eggs from Abbott Family Farm back in college and I was always thoroughly impressed with the quality and ease of purchase. Abbott's is a great source for budget-friendly, free-range, locally-raised eggs! Plus you get to support a really great family business! Happy chickens = happy customer :)

Strong, beautiful, healthy well-bred puppies. I haven’t experienced much guarding instinct barking yet as mine is just about 4 months.However anybody that buys a Great Pyrenees and unironically complains about barking is somebody who didn’t do enough research on their major decision. Additionally, there are ways to curb these instincts in proper ways, it just doesn’t involve yelling as most people complaining about it are likely doing.

I recently purchased a puppy here. They were easy to work with and really cared about the animals. My pup is healthy and super smart. Will go here to get another gaurdian in the future

Love these guys, during the recent fires they contacted a friend of theirs and with the Abbott's help we loaded 70 ewes onto a trailer and took them to a safe location. Thank You Guys So Much!
